My wife went today with our two sons for checkup. She was asked to fill in forms. She left the Social Security number (SSN) block empty on the form (we usually don’t provide as victims of identity theft) but the ipad would not move forward. I spoke over phone with Ms. Taylor (Office Manager) to explain we never provide SSN at Doctor’s office as we are concerned about identity theft and prefer not to reveal SSN, except in those situations where it’s mandated by law. Healthcare providers are exempt FTC’s Red Flag Rule. In fact, we filled forms online for one of the child yesterday and it allowed me to continue and complete all forms without needing me to provide SSN. I asked Ms. Taylor why there are two different systems in place. I tried explaining her there’s really no reason for them to ask for SSN since insurance provider has all my information and the insurance unique subscriber number is what is needed to submit & process claims. I further mentioned, if she is worried about non-payment we can provide copy of driving license for identification purposes; much like stores do when you try to pay by check. Ms. Taylor would not listen; she insisted SSN is required to see our kids. I asked to speak with Dr. Houshiar but was told she does not get into administrative work; hard to believe when Dr. Houshiar owns the practice. I am extremely disappointed by the way we were treated at this facility. Ms. Taylor acted in an inconsiderate manner imposing something upon customer, which has no legal basis. Reminded me of typical businesses who try to take advantage of uniformed customers.!!! Stay away from this place!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Mona! We have taken both of our daughters there for their first dental appointments and had wonderful experiences. Our older daughter was really nervous at her first visit and the entire staff was incredibly patient with her. Dr. Mona took the time to get down on her level and find out what made her nervous and talked her through everything, even doing the cleaning herself to keep her at ease. After that experience, our girls adore her and we won’t go anywhere else! Our oldest daughter ended up having multiple cavities, requiring several visits and extensive repair, all that and the very next day she was asking when she could go back and see Dr. Mona again! To me, that says volumes about the quality of care Dr. Mona and her staff provide. Not only is everyone very professional and caring, but the office is very clean and fun for kids – fun things in the waiting room and tv’s where they can chose literally anything they want to watch while they wait and even during procedures. Top notch office and staff!

Terrific service and office staff, would highly recommend! We had been taking our kids to see Dr. Mona for just the regular check ups and were always impressed with their level of service, staff was always helpful, kind and friendly. When our oldest child chipped his tooth about a week before we moved, they were very quick and accommodating to get him in and fixed up and see him again before we left town, Dr. Mona even wrote a detailed letter explaining what she had done so we could take it to our new dentist. It has been a few months now and the outcome of our sons procedure has been very good.

I took my three year old in for her first visit with Dr. Mona last week and went back in for a second visit this morning. After just a couple of minutes at the first visit my little girl was completely at ease with Dr. Mona and her staff - not a single whine, whimper, or tear! They had fun names for all of their tools and showed her what each of them did before getting started. The waiting area and rooms are spotless, the environment is fun and friendly, the staff are absolutely wonderful... I just could not be more pleased with our experience. We will definitely be returning!

I 100% recommend this dentist! My 11 and 9 year old love it, they get excited about going to the dentist now. Today was my 3 year old first time, she was scared & crying but Dr Mona was so sweet and patient with my daughter. They take their time and never rush their appointment, they taught my kids to properly wash their teeth. Everyone at this office are excellent, so nice and the hygienists are beyond amazing! Thank you Mona Dental for making my daughters experience A+! If we could give you guys 100 stars we would!

We are so thankful for this doctor. She is professional, very sweet and great with kids. Explains things in a simple clear manner. You know exactly what to expect. Offices are clean, bright, colorful and state of the art. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend. Our 8yr old needed to be seen at the last minute today (4:30 on a Friday) and they all not only made the time but stayed late to take care of our daughter. Thank you so much for that. They all deserve much success.

We have been very happy with Mona Dental for Kids! Each member of the staff there has been beyond friendly on all of our visits and the wait time is almost nothing. My 5 year old daughter is fearless when it comes to her dental appointments because Dr. Mona is so gentle and makes the whole experience stress free for the kids. We certainly wont be looking for a different dentist anytime soon, love Dr. Mona!

Today was our first time with Dr. Houshiar, my daughter is 9 years old and she left with a huge smile on her face. Dr. Houshiar and staff are very professional and friendly. Mainly was a impressed with Celine who assisted my daughters dental cleaning, she was very kind and sweet through the process. Over all, I highly recommend this place. We will definitely return. Took my two boys in to see Dr Mona for a second opinion on treatment. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Very nice office! I was able to schedule both boys for treatment quickly. One of the boys had a horrible experience at another office and when we went in for treatment Dr Mona made sure he was comfortable and took the time to answer any questions.Great experience at Mona dental. Everyone here is amazing. Clean environment and very friendly they treated us right away. I highly recommend this Dental practice for children. The staff were professional, patient and really geared towards making my children comfortable. The office is clean, bright and colorful for children to enjoy. No compassion.. poor communication.. bad customer service.. please donot waste time or money coming to this place will not explain what you are being charge for unless you ask..if this place was professional they will know to explain all charges before they ask for payment to avoid confusion.. Beware they donot care about you just want your wallet
