Look how was my happy time turned into a nightmare: Ive been waiting for my green card priority date for many years. It was finally due on 09/01/2013. And I went to OAKS for mecidal exam on 08/24/2013. Because I received my MMR a week before that, the nurse said I had to wait until 09/24/2013 to do my TB skin test. So I made the appointment right away. On 09/24/2013, I came back. The nurse said they did not have the medicine for TB skin test! They need to do a blood test instead. And I paid extra money and got my blood drawn. ... On 09/26/2013, a nurse called me and said my blood was not delievered to the lab on time. So they had to draw my blood again. So I went back and had my blood drawn for the second time. I waited, waited, and waited. On 10/02/2013, after making phone calls and without answer, I walked in to check. A nurse asked me "did I call you (you should not come if I did not call you)". And told me to be patient. I went home and continued my waiting. On 10/07/2013, after more than 10 days waiting, I realized something must be wrong. And decided to go and check with OAKS even though I understood I was not welcome last time. At 2:30pm, a nurse went to the computer and checked. She held a paper and told me the result had been arrived. I was really happy---finally! She did not know how to read the result and went to see the docrot. After 5 minutes, she walked out and said "the doctor is having lunch. We will prepare your documents later". I looked at the result and asked her "what does it mean No Reactive". She said "it means negative". I begged "could you please review it asap because Ive been waiting for it since august?". She said she would tell the doctor and hopefully aim for tomorrow. I walked out happily. The same afternoon, on my way driving home later, another nurse called me "we are still waiting for you TB blood test result". I said "I think you got it already. Another lady showed me the result earlier this afternoon". "Oh, thats another test". Wow, what a nurse! I immediately decided to go and check with them again. After I walked in, I insisted to do a follow up. A nurse called the lab and guess what? THE LAB NEVER RECEIVED MY BLOOD!!! When a nurse was drawing my blood for the 3rd time, I said "I dont have much blood left"... Today is 10/09/2013 and I am still waiting... Thanks for reading and good luck.

I first visited Oaks August 11, 2014. At my first contact with them, I stated that the reason I was there was to find out why I had not felt well for the past 5-6 weeks. I also stated emphatically that whatever they did for me must be covered under medicare, as I would not be able to bear any out-of-pocket expenses. I was finally seen by a Dr. Charron, who said shed need to do blood work. Let me interject that the experience to this point was unsatisfactory: a long wait and a level of indifference Id never encountered before in my life. So...not long afterwards I received a bill for $790.00 from LabCorp, stating that the claim had been denied. I called to find out why and was told it was because the treatment had been described as "routine". Since then I have called Oaks many times to try and get them to resubmit the claim. They have NEVER ONCE returned any of my calls. Three-and-a-half months later LabCorp is now threatening to turn my account over to a collection agency if I dont pay the bill right away. Oh--they refused to e-mail or fax my results too. I was told over an hour ago that the person I needed to speak to would be back from the bank in 20 minutes and so I agreed to wait for her call. IF there is a satisfactory resolution I will post that, but as of this moment I am giving them one star only because its the minimum required in order to post.

I am very impressed with the treatment I received today as a self-pay, walk-in patient. They processed me quickly as a new patient there, were very nice and efficient. We didnt have to wait very long before they took us back and again someone was in the room with us within a few minutes. The doctor was friendly and ordered a X-Ray technician who showed up promptly and was very efficient in her work, she said they would be ready in just a few minutes. I wasnt waiting in the room even five minutes before the doc walked in to reveal that there was no fracture. We found the cost for this fast, courteous service to be very reasonable, especially considering others wed called were going to charge just for an office visit was more than we ended up paying for everything at this clinic. Glad we found them. Too bad more of their happy customers dont provide reviews . . . seems often, people respond only when they have a bad experience . . . I would absolutely recommend them. Very bad experience here. I just moved to TX and developed a severe dry cough. Assuming it is allergies, I made an appt in July 2016 and went in - chief complaint: chronic cough. I was examined, many vials of blood were drawn, chest x-ray and breathing test given. I called the office twice asking about my results and if the doctor was going to review her findings. No response. I finally went in to pay my copay after insurance and requested my results so I could find someone who cared to review them for me and give me a diagnosis. November 2016, I just received a bill for $267 copay on a $1604.67 lab bill for bloodwork for Vitamin D test, chloresterol, iron, 19 different items, none allergy related. This place should be investigated for insurance fraud. I never requested any of those tests. I was referred to an allergist to have bloodwork done there for allergies!

Saw Dr. Tarek Rafati on workers comp., because of severe lower back pain and leg pain I received from working at Sears Auto Center. I looked it up online before I went and came up with scaitica and a herniated disc. Told Dr. my symptoms and he assured me it was a sprain even after the 3rd visit in a month. Kept saying Im young and youll heal youll be fine. I even told him Ive had a sprain and this isnt a sprain and is serious. He brushed it off like I was making it up. My job treated me like a whiner because they thought it was only a sprain. Lost my job. Ended up seeing a real Doctor with intelligence not an ego. Sent me for an MRI wahlah magic ruptured disc L4-L5. Misdiagnosed me and caused me severe pain for over a year. Health is number 1 priority just make sure you dont see this FOOL.

WORST SERVICE, LONGEST WAIT! After scheduling an appt, waiting and hour and fifteen minutes in the waiting room, EVERYONE else came and went while we waited. Front office personal was rude and uncaring. Would not make eye contact,or apologize for the ridiculous wait time. How can the office be open for 3 hours, and yet they are 2 hours behind with patients? Once we finally got into an exam room, the nurse came in and left before triage, leaving us for 15 minutes before returning to ask what was wrong. Then we waited another 30 minutes for the Dr to come in, and when she did, it was without introducing herself. She spent 2 minutes with us, and hustled us out after saying shed write an Rx. If all we get is 2 minutes, WHY DOES IT TAKE 2 HRS TO SEE THE DR?
