I never go to urgent care unless Im very ill. The nurse saw me and even said you need a steroid shot. She tested me for Strep and I did test negative. The doctor comes in and said, "I have it all worked out....Go to the store and buy Mucinex -D. I wasnt even thoroughly examined and buy cough drops. I was in shock! I tried over the counter before going and nothing work. When you have yellow mucus there is an infection and my throat was on fire. I couldnt barely speak, eat or drink. I was in real pain. He said come back if not better in two weeks. Later that evening I called and told the nurse my symptoms worse and she said the doctor can call in a cough medicine. I told her no Im not coughing but my mouth is burning. I asked if I could have something for it and the answer was no. This was the Friday before Easter needless to say my Easter with my family was horrible. I was in bed all day. Monday morning I saw my primary doctor and he gave me fluids, antibiotics, steroid and a mouth wash to soothe my throat so I could eat.

Service was fine during previous visit but when I took my daughter there today service was so very poor. We were taken back to her room at 11:25 am and at 12:30 the doctor still had not been in the room. It was not very busy when I got there either. Only one person in waiting room ahead of us. Finally at 12:45 I walked out and asked if we were going to be seen soon just to find out the nurse never left our file in the door so they didnt know we were in there. The Dr basically briefly looked at my daughter and said she needed to go see a dentist. We were there for a total of 2 hours and paid 110 to have my daughters vitals taken basically. It was the most ridiculous experience at a doctors office ever. Needless to say Ill never go back there.

I went in this afternoon dehydrated from a bout with the flu complicated with bronchial asthma. When I arrived my head was literally spinning so bad I could barely walk. I was extremely weak. PA Hudnall was able to find a vein to start a iv (Im an extremely hard stick!) he had me feeling so much better in under 2 hours... a bag of fluids, intravenous steroid and a breathing treatment was just what my body need to conquer this! RN Christine was compassionate, thorough and attentive. Thank you so much for your first rate care!

Wish I didnt have to select a star. Called these people at 17 minutes to 8 on a Sunday to make sure they were open until 8:00 as my 5 year old fell and deeply cut her ankle. They said yes. My husband arrived there at 7:55 and they locked the door in his face (literally with his hand on the handle) and sat behind the blinds watching him. What terrible patient care and heartless people. They could have told me not to bother showing up when I called on the phone. I will never pay these people another penny.

The care is good, however everytime I think about going there, I dread the 12 page iPad check-in. You have to click boxes upon boxes. Sections and more sections on medical history. Its annoying when youre sick. The wait has been quite long lately as well, even though there were only a few patients. Last time, the front office person, gave permission for a patient to leave to run errands while still keeping his place in line, ahead of me.

Ive been to this clinic twice now and the RN, Christine, was attending both times with different doctors. Once for a severe UTI, once for dehydration. During both experiences the nurse and doctors were top notch professionals who took excellent care of me. I will definitely go here again and highly recommend this location to anyone needing quick medical attention Outstanding across the board.

Bulverde Urgent Care has treated all four of our family members at one time or another and they are absolutely the best! Never a long wait and the doctors and staff are top notch. Way better than any ER. Id recommend them to anyone. Made the mistake of going to a Texas Med Clinic...never again will I do that!!!! I ended up at Bulverde Urgent Care the next day!

Cant say enough nice things about this place. I was lucky & caught them at non busy time. Registration was a breeze on their iPad, Doctor on duty was GREAT, good bedside manner, competent & efficient! Plus was they took my insurance with the normal co-pay.

They charge you a co pay as a specialist then send you a bill for more after they get the insurance check because they bill as as an emergency clinic no matter when you go in. They totally missrepresent themselves. Waited in the room for an hour for the Dr.

Ridiculous. Wife came in for sinus infection, caught pink eye from the place, then they charged us again for the pink eye visit. Never coming back.
