If I could give 0 stars I would. Like others have said: he over charges and is very rude and condescending. He makes you feel like if you dont spend hundreds every time you come in then you dont care about your animal. We had been taking our dog to him for a while, then one time our dog got really sick and we ended up paying hundreds for nothing. We decided to get a second opinion and when we asked for our dogs records he didnt want to release them. We had just paid for extensive blood work and x-rays he made us feel we needed otherwise our dog would die. Then when he did finally give us the records the x-rays and information were sub-par.

I would recommend Animal Health Center of The Colony. Dr. Durham took very good care of my Siamese kitty when he had a blocked urinary track; this is common for male cats. He was very gentle with my cat and took the time to explain EVERYTHING he was going to need to do to make him feel better. He did NOT rush and answered EVERY question. He gave a FULL estimate of costs before performing any procedure. Dr. Durham called twice with updates. ANY vet visit is expensive but when you get quality time and care it is worth it especially when it is a "member of your family". His staff was very nice too.

Dr. Durham is a wonderful vet. He does not rush through your visit like many veterinarians. He takes time to listen to all of your concerns and examines your pet thoroughly. Dr. Durham makes sure that you understand the possible causes of your animals ailment and partners with other leading professionals in the Dallas area when necessary. He also ensures to answer all of your questions and concerns whether you are at an appointment or simply calling because you are worried about your pet. I would definitely recommend this caring and compassionate veterinarian business.

Dr. Durham and his staff are outstanding. I have a very active American Pit Bull Terrier who seems to get herself in all manner of situations. The lastest was a run in with a cactus patch she ended up with literally thousands of cactus needles in her. Dr. Durham and his staff handled the situation with the utmost professionalism and understanding. Nikita my pup is recovering nicely and I am truly grateful. Thank you Animal Health Centre.

Great doctor and vet tech They always are patient and answer any questions and have obvious care and knowledge to keep our pets healthy and happy!! The prices are better than other vets i have looked at in the area and yet the qaulity of care is amazing. Im so happy we found this place, we will never leave!

Personally, I like Dr. Durham. Ive been there twice and hes been nothing but kind and helpful. Im not sure who or what the others have experience, but personally speaking, I found him to be more than competent.
