Took my daughter in today on 5.29.16 for a bad cough and congestion and once again I was not pleased with how my experience went. I felt as if the staff wasnt very professional. I was there only a few months ago and today was told they somehow dont have the paper work or my ID in my daughters chart so I had to redo paper work that was just filled out, then when we got called back the nurse was not very friendly when she asked if my daughter was on any medicine I told her no just over the counter medicine then not even a minute later when I remembered that my daughter has been taking her inhaler I told her and she caught an attitude stating that she had already asked me what medicines (I was also trying to keep my 2 month old from crying) then when the PA came in, after her stethoscope fell onto my daughter, she told me that its just allergies, which is kind of hard to believe considering my daughter has had green snot and got sick after I had what she has. We also were not even questioned on if she could have picked up any sickness from some one else. I informed the PA that my daughter has been taking her inhaler with a spacer and asked if the INHALER could be refilled and she said yes. After giving us the prescriptions, she went over that the cough medicine needs to be taken every 8 hours. We took the prescriptions to get filled and for one the prescription said to only take cough medicine at night time and then there was no refill for the inhaler only for the spacer which we have at home. So I called back to see why the inhaler was not called in and there was no reason. Also, I called to clarify when to take the cough medicine and I am still unsure of when to give it to my daughter so I guess I will just stick to at night time?? But now I get to get BACK out with my sick daughter to go and get the prescription that was supposed to be called in at first. I WISH I WOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE GIVING THIS PLACE ANOTHER TRY!! Had a bad experience the first time and now again today, and am clearly not the only one having issues here. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

Took our infant here to see a doctor which was recommended by our pediatricians office since it was Sunday. When we were filling out the paperwork we found that we only have 2 options for the payment of the remaining balance after our insurance is billed. They will give you 15 days after the postmark date on the bill they send out to make payment or they automatically charge your credit card. Or, they will just charge your credit card the full amount when they figure out your balance. In our case, our debit card. I understand the need for them to be paid for their services, but for those to be the only options seems a little rediculous. I have extensive experience with medical bills and have never heard of a place just automatically taking the money. Then, we had a nurse put us in a room and when she was getting some background info on our daughter she had to google a medical diagnosis my older daughter had. She pulled her phone out and googled it right in front of us and then asked us if our daughter had died. My husband and I were in shock. We were then transferred to another room so we would be seen faster (according to that nurse). Then the nurse practitioner (we never saw a doctor) came in and spent about 5 seconds looking at our baby and gave us a diagnosis. She didnt ask us questions about how she got this way or anything. She was very awkward. She spoke using medical terms which I felt was her way of trying to confuse us. I questioned her diagnosis and she stuttered through a half way explanation. This is the next day and my daughter is still exactly the same. I could have stayed home and used Dr Google and gotten better care for my 8 month old. Going to this place was a waste of time and a waste of our Urgent Care copay ($100). We will never take our children here again.

Our 9M old son has been teething...so the sleep disruptions, low appetite and overall fussiness was to be expected. However, after not keeping down two full feedings, my gut said something else was not right. We went to the Woodlands facility and were able to be seen very quickly. The office was immaculately clean and overall very nice. Staff was attentive and professional. We met (the most friendly and genuine) Dr. Mughal and within about 2 minutes he determined that our son had a double ear infection. He went above and beyond to explain the causes of such and how we should treat it. We were VERY impressed how forthcoming he was with the most recent information about waiting to treat with antibiotics. He then quickly came back with pain relief drops and continued answers all our questions with such patience. Outstanding bedside manor all around. Being our first visit to an emergency clinic with our son, I can say that Dr. Mughal and his staff made it the most pleasant experience considering the circumstances. Highly recommend.

TERRIBLE MISDIAGNOSIS!!!! The place may look cute, but that is about all. My 5 year old daughter had been complaining of severe pain in her stomach for weeks, finally it got so bad I took her to Urgent Care for kids the Woodlands location. The "Doctor" asked her a few questions, pressed on her belly and smugly declared that it was "functional abdominal pain syndrome" Basically meaning it was all in her mind because she had just started Kindergarten. I suggested that I thought it might be a urinary tract infection, but she said no, that my daughter would be screaming if it was. So we spent almost 2 weeks telling our daughter that she was fine and just needed to stay calm etc.until one day she threw up and then passed out , we headed to the ER and guess what? She had an acute urinary tract infection. Im so angry that my daughter had to spend 2 more weeks in pain because of this idiot ! I think their choice of "duck doctor" mascot and logo is spot on however, because she was definitely a quack!!!!!!!

I brought my son here right when they opened at 9 am today. We were third in line. They refused to check us in unless and until we filled out a form. Anyone who had been there before didnt have to fill out said form and could check in right away, so effectively the six people behind us and anyone who came in the meantime would be seen before my 2 year old son, who was screaming and had been screaming for the last hour because his ears hurt so bad. I have never heard of or experienced such ridiculousness and it really makes me question my familys move from MN, with its excellent medical care to this godforsaken place. Wouldnt it be more reasonable and make more sense to let the parent check the sick child in and then fill out the form during the inevitable wait?! Thanks for making a bad situation 10x worse. We went down the street to Memorial Hermanns ER and got treatment and will continue to look for an appropriate urgent care clinic here in TX.
