I brought my dog in a couple of weeks ago after she had had a broken jaw repaired at another veterinary office. I was struggling when I realized something wasnt right a few months after the repair and she had an infection and a new sore. I decided to go back to the original vet to get it checked out and see what was going on. I had an appointment with the original vet that did the surgery for the next week. Then before the appointment I realized something very serious was going on, I could feel her jaw moving. So now she had an infection plus still a broken jaw. In shock I decided to get a second opinion from Antelope Veterinary Clinic. I called Antelope Veterinarian clinic in panic and Dr. Toniolli stayed late for a second opinion on her jaw. He was very good and explained everything that he believed was happening and options to do the repair properly and hopefully more successfully. He did the surgery today and I was very pleased with him and his desire to help her. He admitted he was not a specialist on dentistry but that he had a passion and interest and had experience in that area. He knew exactly what he was talking about and I am confident in his skills. He performed the surgery today and I am confident he did a great job. Unfortunately my dog has lost part of her jaw due bone loss from time and a poor job repair. The original veterinarian should have referred us to a specialist who knew more about the different types of repairs, because my dog now has part of her jaw missing that maybe could have been successfully saved had the right procedure been done the first time. Once I decided to do the surgery they had scheduled out a couple of weeks and when I called to ask to move it up, he manipulated his personal schedule to accommodate my dogs emergency needs and do the surgery quicker. He was very good with her and I was impressed with the clinic and will return for services there. It was a little bit more for an office visit than my original veterinarian but well worth it and I would not have been out over 700 dollars for an unsuccessful surgery that caused more damage than good.

Best vet ever! I will never switch vets. My wife and I have been going to Dr. Nebeker for 5 years after we saw another vet for our first dog appointment and didnt like him. We have 3 dogs and have gone to Dr. Nebeker for a variety of things. I absolutely love him and his staff. They are always honest and there for you for anything. He will give you many options and always gives the best advice, he wont just try to get you to go the expensive route. He is very knowledgable and great at his job. I have never had a problem with my dogs that he couldnt fix. I know he will refer to a specialist if needed, but that hasnt been the case with our dogs yet. He spayed one of our dogs and her recovery was a lot faster and easier than our other two. I trust him 100% with our dogs health and safety. I would dread having to ever find another vet because no one would compare to him. My whole family and my wives family take their animals to him and they all love and trust him. I know Dr. Nebeker has the animals best interest at heart and he genuinely cares about his patients and their parents! I would with no reservations recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Paul is an extraordinary Vet, he truly has a gift for animals and their people. My 150 lb rottie, who has a litany of issues, adores him. Dr. Paul is the first vet out the last 5 weve been to, including ER vets, that has put my dogs quality of life as priority #1. Hes had an open, honest dialogue about every aspect of treatment and all our options for a number of issues including knee replacements, dysplasia and congenital diseases. He is the only vet to explore causes without insisting upon invasive exploratory surgery that will possibly answer some questions but wont improve his quality of life or reduce the immediate pain. Hes definitely not a BMW (bring my wallet) vet, he truly has our dogs best interest at heart! In short, Dr. Paul has been a blessing and despite our rock/hard spot situation with our boy, Dr. Paul has patients for life. Hes had a number of phone conversations with us just to reassure and actually acted as a counselor/therapist. My dog is doing far better with him than any other vet! Thank you Dr. Paul & staff!

I feel like this vet might as well have killed my 7 year old dog. I took her in because I knew there was something wrong. I had hundreds of $s of tests done, just to hear they couldnt find anything and maybe she was just feeling the summer heat. A few months later her spleen burst from undiagnosed cancer and she bled internally and died. Even so I do understand mistakes can happen. I have previously brought a number of my animals to this office because they are so convenient to my home. I felt as though they were seriously over charging me and adding unnecessary procedures to pad their bills. When I asked around I discovered my family was paying less than half for the same procedures. They quoted me $400 to clean my 12 pound, 5 year old dogs teeth! I agree with other reviewers, they are unethical and are overcharging.

In January 2008 my cat got sick fast. I took her into Antelope Animal Hospital to Dr. Nebeker. She was diagnosed with Cancer and had at the most another good week left. He didnt urge me to do unnecessary tests and gave me all the options and let me decide from there where we would like to go. He never pressured me nor told me what to do, he gave me his opinion and I felt that he was very truthful and sincere. We did end up putting our cat down a week later at his office, which was very hard but they made it comfortable and took great care of her. His crematory services were outstanding as well. We now take our dogs and other cat to this vet for their outstanding service and commitment to provide a good place to care for my animals.

Every time we take our dogs to Dr. Nebeker at Antelope Animal Hospital, we have gotten the best care. He shows such compassion for them and takes such great care of them! We first started coming a couple years ago with our Papillion who passed away shortly after we adopted him (due to unfortunate preexisting medical issues we werent aware of) - Dr. Nebeker helped us get through the loss and sent a card showing how much he cares about his clients. We now go there with our little Maltese/Yorkie mix and our Samoyed - and he takes such great care of our girls. We recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great vet. He truly cares about his clients and helps you do whats best for your four legged family members.

I absolutely loVe this place! The service they offer is top notch, Dr Paul Toniolli is a Fantastic Veterinarian; been going there for years & never had a bad experience yet! They offer in home pet euthanasia, which was such a great experience for our family (considering the circumstances & occasion) Our dog was not stressed out or scared going to a strange place... he got to cross the Rainbow Bridge at home, completely at peace. I highly recommend the in home service, we were able to grieve in private, in the comfort of our home.
