I have been taking my dogs to Power Ranch Animal Hospital for almost 6 years. They have done nothing but wasted my money and had me spend thousands of dollars on unnecessary blood works, ex rays and skin scrapes, only to concluded that they dont have an answer to whats happening to my dogs. They have over dosed on medication quite a few times and are strong believers in pain killers rather than solutions to problems. After the last visit and multiple ex rays later, I was left without answers again only to find the answer online within few minutes of googling. Once I called the office to speak to the vet, the technician was told that he doesnt feel comfortable with the issue at hand and that I should consult a specialist. The least he could have done is answer the phone and told me that himself after all the visits and money invested, but instead he opted to act like a coward and tell the nurse to tell me that. This has been a real big disappointment due to the fact that we rely on these "professionals" to save our children. Please consider looking for the answers online before thinking of spending money on aimless guesses at this clinic, you will have better chances getting the answers you seek from the Internet than these people who call themselves VETS.

I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars taking my dogs to Power Ranch. They are close to my house and it is convenient. Recently my dog had a surgery done there, while he was under, they convinced me to let them clean his teeth (for more money of coarse). I took that same dog to another clinic less than 2 months later and they highly doubted that his teeth had been cleaned so recently. Plaque was so thick on his teeth, in their professional opinion, we were charged for a service that was not performed. I called Power Ranch and basically said "well we did it" and that was the end of that. They refused to do anything to acknowledge the fact that his teeth looked so bad which is highly unusual for this dog who is 7 years old and has only needed 1 tooth pulled in the past. He has great teeth as the other clinic confirmed that I usually go to. I feel like they were dishonest and should have done more to rectify the situation. Instead, they blamed it on the breed. Well, I know the breed and I also know my dog- and I agree with the other professionals that I was scammed. They will not be getting any of my business in the future, nor will I refer them friends and family.

Having previously been a customer here since the clinic opened I always received exceptional care for my pet. I had moved out of town a couple of years ago and was recently visiting in the area when I needed to have an appointment for my English Bulldog Wilson. My appointment was quickly made, handled on time, the diagnosis confidently made, and the prescription for his care dispensed. The fees and costs were well within the nominal charges I have experienced in my travels throughout the country. Dr Stitzer has always been a very competent and caring veterinarian during my association with his clinic and I highly recommend his services. The staff was very friendly, informed, and caring, just as I remembered. The facility was clean and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I will be sure to use this facility whenever the need arises when I am in the Phoenix area.

Ive been coming to Power Ranch Animal Hospital since they first opened. I love Dr Waldo but will no longer put up with the crazy office staff! I called to schedule an appointment because I received a post card saying my dogs shots were due. I started the conversation by telling the scheduler my dogs name and my name. She told me she couldnt find me in the system she then asked me if I was spelling my name wrong! Im not kidding you! I really wanted to hang up on her but I spelled my name again and stayed calm. She miraculously found me in the system and scheduled my appointment. I showed up today for the scheduled appointment and guess what: my dogs shots are not due until August! What the heck is going on over there Power Ranch Animal Hospital? Have you let your business totally go to the dogs?!?

This is regards to my dog that below posting I just wrote and the poisen was cyanide.. Thats why the "tumors", it was her inner organs liquifying. If Dr. Peterson had looked in her mouth she would have seen the cracked and dried tonge in my dogs mouth. At this point she had to suffer in searing agony for another 8 1/2 hours. If she would have payed attention she would have seen the dog was dying and wouldnt have reassured me that it wasnt serious. I will never forget the images in those4 1/2 days of my beloved Dutchess. My husband and I frantically round the clock trying to save her. Now I owe my sons money for incompetence.

I have only had one visit to this clinic but I thought that everyone there was very nice and informative. They did not try and sell me anything that I did not need, all they cared about was making sure my cat was taken care of. Whithin a couple of days she was back to her normal self, thank goodness. The staff even called me the next day to make sure that she was doign good and I didnt have any questions. I will be taking all of my pets to this office for routine and emergency care. I hope everyone else can have a feeling like I do with this staff.

They were definitely more interested in my money than they were my dog. Im not a vet, but it was clear they were trying to convince me to run every costly procedure that could be linked to the symptoms of my pet instead of recommended the most relevant and working from there. Their true character showed through when I tried to have 1-800-PET-MEDS fill the prescription they gave me and the clinic wouldnt give them permission, until I started demanding my money back.

If you want to go 3 times to get your pet fixed for a simple ear infection after following their instructions and medicine it starts to feel like a money pit. And then to be told that youre not a great pet owner thats always the best feeling! Ever feel like you should schedule an appointment and wait an hour and still not be seen its great! There are plenty of other places near by that are worth the drive that might give a damn then treat you like a cash cow.

Dr. Crabtree saved the eye of our cat! He is very compassionate and willing to listen. He has the best interest of the owner and pet at heart! It is rare in a "for profit" industry to encounter Doctors like Dr. Crabtree who are still willing to help clients in an affordable and reasonable way. Always get a refreshing 2nd opinion from Dr. Crabtree before succumbing to overpriced specialist procedures or drastic measures! Thank you, Dr. Crabtree!!!

We had to help our senior dog cross the rainbow bridge and never in our lives have we experienced an office that is so caring and supportive during a very difficult time. You can tell that the staff and vets really enjoy what they are doing. Not only do we approve of the office our dogs approve also. The first office that our little one has not tried to bite the techs or the vet. They are very compassionate and gentle when handling your pet.
