I had not been to a dentist in over 30 years. Full disclosure - I had horrible experiences during my teenage years that bordered upon recreations of the movie "Marathon Man" while sitting in a chair, terrified of the dentist who somehow smelled like an unhealthy combination of Folgers coffee, sawdust, burnt onions - and was super stingy on anesthetics because I was told to "deal with it". Wish this wasnt a true story, but it actually scared me off from any sort of dental hygiene maintenance. Who wants to be face to face with a doctor best left to his own early morning regime of chowing onions before work after a cup of joe, only to lash out at his patients for whatever grim pleasure he receives? Not this camper - pack up the tent, put out the fire...man, lets not even set up camp to begin with. So flash forward to a raging toothache, compounded by the onset of periodontal gum disease, which included four wisdom teeth extractions and two root canals - lets just say Im the poster boy for putting dentists children through college - and then a raging fear of anything remotely dental. I have never had such crippling pain in my life, and reluctantly went to the dentist by way of a referral from a dear friend. Dr. Clark and his entire staff immediately put me at ease. I was very much in tears, knowing that this process was going to be intensive, and their reassurance and kindness made everything so much better. The dental hygienists as a team were so supportive, funny, beautiful and world class - I am beyond speechless. A good dentists corrects your oral hygiene. A GREAT dentist does what Mr. Clark has done for me: provide a way to maintain, protect and care for my oral hygiene. He genuinely cares for his patients, as do his staff. There is not one individual in this building that doesnt have genuine investment in the well being of their patients. Hailey, Lexxi, Carrie, Cami and Jennifer are absolutely the standard by which their chosen profession should be measured. I love this dentistry, and actually was able to overcome my fear of this very important health care aspect because of Dr. Clark and his team. I also want to mention the amazing DreamWorld Anesthesia, and brilliant Peter Anders (CRNA). One of the kindest anesthesiologists and apparently a remarkable drummer who I owe a few drum lessons to his children in exchange for his remarkable kindness and patience through this process. All in all - this is the best of the best and I love everyone that works for Mont Blanc through and through for the life changing experience. Just stay aways from the onions and coffee combo, peeps. It seriously is a rough gig :)

I also did not have a good experience with this dentist. I spent about 90% of my time there getting pictures taken in his office and waiting room and was only in the chair for a matter of minutes. When he asked if I had any pain with my teeth I told him that I felt a stinging sensation when I ate things with artificial sweeteners. He scoffed and joked to his assistant, "Well thats easy. If it hurts then just dont eat it." I didnt feel that was a professional response. I was given a quote for extensive fillings at about $700 but when I went to see another dentist for my cleaning (that was not included at Mont Blanc) he told me I didnt need any work. I know their can be discrepancies but it seemed to be a large gap. After I decided to change to another practice I received multiple calls and emails from Mont Blanc Dentistry. I asked multiple times to be taken off their calling and email lists to no avail. I am not someone who usually feels the need to spread a bad opinion about someone, I feel everyone should make up their own mind, but I since I personally received the email from you feeling like you needed to defend what I thought was just an honest and tactful review, I felt like maybe I should also share my experience. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before having any work done here, you may be getting a lot more done than you actually need. And since I spend much of my time with dental school graduates (I work in a school for specialties like oral surgery, ortho, periodontics, etc) I would not agree that every dentist is honest, I dont think they would lose their license since their is so much room for varied opinions on treatments and such, so be very, very careful where you spend your money.

A few years ago I went to a dentist in Orem and after seeing the X-rays I was told that I needed a crown and two fillings. The estimated cost was about $1,000 and could rise depending on the severity of my tooth decay. As I always go to my six month checkups, and this was only the second visit with this dentist since moving from Spanish Fork to Orem, I was concerned. I decided to receive a second opinion. I had heard great reviews about Dr. Kyle Clark. I soon met with Kyle and recounted my recent visit with a dentist in Orem. He completed a full exam and let me know that he believed it could be fixed with a filling, although there was still a small chance that the cavity was deep enough to require a crown. As I consulted with Dr. Clark it soon became apparent that he was extremely knowledgeable and understanding of my condition. At the end of the process of removing the cavities and filling them I was once again impressed with Dr. Clark. I didn’t need to get a crown and all three cavities were filled. It became clear that he is a skilled, thorough, and concerned dentist. I have now been visiting Dr. Clark every six months for the past 3 years. Here is a dentist with high integrity. I recommend him and his staff to anyone that wants to be treated fair and kind. Brent

Dr Clark and his staff at Mont Blanc Dentistry are some of the best I have had the opportunity to work with. From the moment I walked in I was impressed by the professionalism and overall feel of the office. I had a set appointment and was brought back very quickly from when I arrived. I originally came in for a cleaning and found out that I had to get a small filling. When I returned for that visit I was surprised at how painless the whole procedure was. I didnt even know that I had received my injection by the time he was done getting me numb. Overall all I highly recommend this office to anyone in the Highland, Alpine, Cedar Hills area. I look forward to further visits to Mont Blanc Dentistry.

Im not sure which Id say is better, their friendliness or thoroughness. They remember me and the things we talked (gargled) about, so its like visiting friends. The work is done to my satisfaction (they ask me to feel around my mouth and let them know if anything could use some more attention), so I always leave with the squeakiest clean Ive ever had at a dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Kyle Clark and his staff. They are professional and helpful in all interactions, and I can tell that they have my best interests in mind. Plus, the office is comfortable and clean, with movies to watch during the cleaning/work and a freshly baked cookie for after. I love going.
