My dog was limping for three days. He would not let me look at it, let alone touch it. Took him to dr moss. He was able to look at his paw for a second before my dog yanked it away from his grip. Dr moss claimed he saw that it was all red and infected around his big pad. Didnt take his temperature or anything. Didnt try to use other methods to take a better, longer look at his paw. Prescribed ear drops to rub all around the big pad and some pills that he said might cause extreme thirst ( some dogs will pee in the house he warned). Came home. With my husbands help and after a l lot of time of cajoling and effort, to put the ear drops on his paw, i finally have him let me look at the paw for the first time very thoroughly. And there were no open sores, nothing was red or infected around his big pad or anywhere! His paw and the pads were in perfect, normal condition. I called his hospital. Through a staff member, he refused to give me a refund. He could not even talk to me directly. No apologies for the misdiagnosis. It was $156. I asked a neighbor. She had taken her dog for anal gland problems before dr moss moved into the fancy new building. He only prescribed antibiotics. It didnt work. So after a while she took her dog to bayview hospital. They got right down to the glands and took care of them and put antibiotics on. She was cured. I wonder if dr moss would have done the same thing to his own dog. The whole episode makes me shudder. Especially when I realized i almost gave my precious dog the strong pills for no reason whatsoever. I cant stop telling my neighbors, family, and freinds how terrible they are. Through a staff member he also told me to use the antibiotics for other infections. And should i also use the ear drops for my ears in the future?

I brought my dog in this morning for help in removing a medicine patch from a surgery last week. My dog had major surgery a week ago in Midvale and Im staying with my parents so they can keep an eye on him while I work. His medication patch was supposed to come off last night, but he SCREAMED when I tried to remove it. After verifying with my vet (now too far away since Im at my parents house) that it could stay on an extra night, I turned for help. Even though I had no appointment and will not be a regular client he was very helpful. Unfortunately my dog had had too much of vets for the last two months and snarled and growled at the technician who tried to take his temperature. They still worked with us, though, and gave my dog a tranquilizer so the medicine patch could be removed. I dont think I could have done it on my own because the adhesive from the bandage had adhered to his skin too much. THANK YOU.

This was the first time I had met Dr. Moss, and he was The best vet that I have been to, the staff is very nice, and knowledgeable. I had to take my baby girl (leopard gecko) in because she prolapsed, and it was bad. He gave me all of my options, and was really gentle with her when he was examining her. He took time to listen, and wanted what was best for me, and my gecko. What was best ended up euthanizing her, and he seemed just as heart broken as we were. He had cleaned out her little container that we brought in and put her on a nice, clean paper towel. He walked me through all the steps and helped me understand that she wouldnt be in pain anymore. He was also very very willing to work on price with me, It costed me about 100 dollars because he didnt add the examination fee. I would recommend him to anyone who cares about their animal, he knows what he is doing, and he is very caring. 20/10

This was the first time my husband and I met Dr Moss. We brought our new Chihuahua puppy in to find out what was wrong with her. Unfortunately she had water on her brain and had to be uthenized. Dr Moss was quick with the diagnoses. Dr Moss was up front, honest, and very compasdionate and caring. He truly cares for you and your pets. He didnt charge us for unnecessary tests, etc. He also had a back door put in for the sad and unfortunate visits. My husband and I are very touched, pleased, and satisfied with Dr Moss and his staff. They treated us with honesty, compassion, and friendliness. We give Dr Moss and his staff a 5 STAR RATEING. WE will definitely be back with our Husky. Thank-You Dr Moss and Staff for honesty,, kindness and compassion. The Crellers

This vet is by far the best vet I have ever been to. When I was younger we used to take my dog to Dr. Moss and he was always amazing, but now I take my bunnies to Dr. Moss. He is very gentle with my bunnies and is very compassionate as well. Dr. Moss is very understanding, and his WHOLE staff is AMAZING. They are so kind and nice when you walk in to the moment you walk out. Everyone acts like they have known you for years even if its been 5 minutes. I love Dr. Moss and his entire staff and highly recommend. If youre skeptical, I would defiantly at least take your pet(s) once just to see for yourself, but I promise youll love him and his amazing, AMAZING staff!

Absolutely the most WONDERFUL Vet and staff. Dr. Moss is the most knowledgeable and caring vet I have ever been to. I have Dogs, birds, rodents, and small exotics and he has cared for all of them. This is true quality care, and I feel at ease when my pets need care or a check up. We adopted another pup and could receive discount veterinary services for him, but we still choose to go to Dr. Moss because we know he will take the best care of him. They are also very organized and keep us up to date with reminders.
