I am a foster mom for a couple of Macaws. When ever I have brought a bird in, I am always greeted with a smile. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Because I bring in birds from a rescue, I do not always know the history of the bird, sometimes it will be the first vet visit for the bird, and I am not always prepared for the reaction the bird gives. No matter what the situation is, the vet is always sweet and companionate towards the animal. He will take the time to comfort the bird, he talks really sweet to the bird when handling him/her, and will go out of his way to make sure the bird is feeling as little stress as possible. One of the birds that I brought in was terrified of everything and the vet took the time to slow things down just to show my bird the stethoscope. He showed it to the bird and talked to the bird about it, he even put the stethoscope on his own chest before he put it on the bird, showing the bird it was safe. It reminded me of my sons pediatrician and how she calms my son from his fears while at the doctors office. They have a true love for every individual creature. They care deeply for the specific needs of every animal that walks, crawls, flys or slithers through their doors. And to top it all off, they really know their stuff. From what I understand, the Doctors are continuing to stay on the cutting edge of Veterinarian research and continue to study new findings in the Veterinarian field.

We have been bringing our Golden Retriever, Maisey, to Parrish Creek for several years, and have only overwhelmingly positive experiences with Dr. Folland and his staff. They are caring, knowledgeable, and very flexible with getting pets in for appointments on the same day you call. Our dog has had a variety of mishaps with bees, strange things she has eaten, and tummy issues after a boarding experience, and each time, Dr. Folland has performed a comprehensive exam, spent a lot of time talking to us about options, and being very up front about cost. You get incredible service for a great value here! Annual care and shots are very reasonable, and I couldnt be happier with them :) For a short time, we took our dog to another vet because of where we were living, and we were so disappointed. The quality of service was so low, and we were honestly concerned that they didnt even examine or diagnose our fur baby correctly. Dr. Folland and his staff figured out what was wrong quickly and efficiently, and with a lot of care and compassion. We love Parrish Creek!

We took our cat in because we were fearful she had swallowed a Christmas light, ribbon, etc during the holidays. I called my regular vet letting them know it was somewhat of an emergency and they told me they didnt have any openings and referred me to an animal ER. I looked up Parrish Creek on Google reviews and saw the awesome reviews. I called and was greeted by a friendly technician and she scheduled us an appointment for later that morning. Our cat is normally anxious and does not like strangers. The technicians were very sensitive and thorough in their examination. They were patient with my fiance and I as we asked questions and expressed our concerns. They sent us home with a binder of information about our cat with useful pet-owner information. I was most impressed with a follow-up phone call a couple days later asking how our cat was doing. I also received follow-up mail. We made the switch to Parrish Creek as our regular vet. We just had our puppy spayed and micro-chipped.

Parrish Creek has a very helpful and kind staff, especially manager Debbie, who helped with my concerns about my Mexican Red-headed parrot today. Although they were very busy/booked, they had me bring him in since I was worried about his breathing. Debbie was reassuring when she saw him, but suggested they keep him overnight (charging only for the office visit) so the specialist vet could examine him first thing in the morning. Very accommodating! I also asked if I could bring in my 19 y.o. cat for a problem since Ill be going back in the morning and they agreed to help with that. I am grateful to have the only boarded bird vets in the state available for my little 25+ year old green friend! Im sure the clinic is great with cats too, especially after reading other reviews! Also, the clinic is very nice - convenient to get to, clean, pleasant with lots of posted information and suggestions for good pet care. My first visit there today was very, very positive.

Unfortunately, we never did get to work with the actual vet at Parrish Creek. When we took our 5 month old puppy for his shots, the staff acted like he was poorly behaved and obnoxious. He was new to the vet and excited/nervous. When I asked for a quote to have him microchipped and fixed, they gave me a printout of the costs (which I appreciated). The low cost was $350 and the high was $440! After seeing these numbers we ended up driving our boy 3 hours back to our vet in Idaho.. where the total cost of neutering him and getting him microchipped was $175. The staff in Idaho treat him like a million bucks every time and are more worried about the pet than the money. Im sure Parrish Creek is fabulous, we just didnt have a very good experience. Its worth the 3 hour drive to Idaho for our puppys healthcare.

I just got my sugar glider neutered here and I seriously can not praise Parrish Creek enough!!!!!! They were so helpful! They made a little binder with a picture of him on the front, explaining the anasthesia, and the meds and everything, they gave me information on all the emergency vets here, and went above and beyond! They explained everything, and were seriously so kind and genuinely cared about my glider, and had very reasonable prices! The staff was so nice, and stayed after because we ran into traffic and were a little late to pick him up, and then they answered all of our questions and concerns with care, and didnt act like they were in a rush or we were being inconvenient (even though we were)! Just thought I would give them a good review for my amazing experience! Stitch Thanks you :)

Parrish Creek Vet is the best veterinary clinic here on the Wasatch Front. I have made the hour and half drive to see them while living right behind a vet clinic because I know they will help me the first time and every time after that. I now live a little closer, but still go quite out of my way to get to them. The entire staff is knowledgeable and helpful and if they dont know something they tell you so and help you find the answer. They have helped me with my bearded dragon, skink, uromastyx, and guinea pigs. They are even willing to answer my silly questions over the phone and when they say they will call you back they mean it and really do. I dont know what I would do without them. No matter what type of animal you have, Parrish Creek Vet is the way to go!

I think this may be the best vet clinic Ive ever been to. Right off the bat the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff take an extremely detailed and thorough history, which was a pleasant surprise to me. Dr. Stern was very gentle with my bearded dragon Heston, and is clearly extremely knowledgeable. Not only did she let me know he was slightly overweight, she went over with me the best ways to keep him healthy and the best foods to offer him. At the end, I got a very helpful and charming little binder with Hestons picture on it to keep all his records and information in. And the price wasnt bad to boot! I drove 45 minutes to get to Parrish Creek and Im glad I did, because this is my new regular vet for sure.
