My experience with N. Phoenix Spay & Neuter Clinic began when I recently moved to the North Central Phoenix area. I was in my new place for 2 days when on my way to work on the third day I saw a black cat who was huddled in the stairwell of my apartments. I didnt have time to investigate anything about the animal so I went on my way. I came home approximately 8 hours later to find this same cat huddled right at my doorstep. It looked as if its tail had been injured and was scared to death. I brought him in even though my two cats, ages 11 and 12, were not happy about that decision. I figured out that he was most likely had been abandoned. He was about close to a year old, and was in need of neutering in a big way. I found this clinic and made an appointment. I took him in and had him fixed, or so I thought. In the first week afterwards, he hadnt changed a bit, still tom cat all the way, second week, same story. I called the clinic and they said that that was normal for a cat to take a while to change. By the third week I was really concerned and noticed that he still had a testicle (just 1). So I called and made another appointment, and sure enough, it was a testicle and he hadnt been fixed at all! Im still upset about this. They did neuter him again, and so far it seems to be fine. However, how does this happen? Ive had animals my entire life and have never ever had a mishap like this. They did the second neutering free, but I had to take time out of work because they were going to be closed on the next 2 Saturdays. That COST me money....I was pissed...and, I STILL want my money back period! Watch out for this place....this whole experience should have Never had to happen if they werent SO CARELESS!

They were great! Answered all my questions on the phone when I was setting an appointment(speaking of, I got an appointment the very next morning!! How fast is that?? I was so surprised), and when I got their talked me through everything and ressured me. Got my cat Charlie neutered(only costed me $43 for everything; $23 for neutering, $15 for pain med.s) and they explained the after-care in full and made sure to answer every question I had before leaving. They also gave me a very helpful after-care list with their number, emergency vets numbers, along with more after-care tips. Im extremely glad and thankful for it because Ive been looking back on it a lot even thought he just got fixed a few days ago! It has definitely helped with making sure I have piece of mind. I am also able to call during their hours if I have any questions or concerned about his healing up process. I recommend this clinic for anyone looking for a affordable, easy and fast way to get their cats fixed. I couldnt be happier with the results. Coming here for any more needs of my animals!!

My experience was bad. I was a new pet owner to a baby rabbit. It was time for him to get neutered and the anesthesia killed him. I was nervous about leaving my rabbit there because he picked up my rabbit by his skin. Which isnt the proper way to hold a rabbit. Despite my doubts my fiance calmed me down and we decided to leave it to the professionals. They called me a few hours later and he had died. I am very disappointed. They waived all the fees which im grateful for but I should have trusted my gut and left when he didnt handle my baby correctly. I looked into it afterwards and found lots of sites saying that the incorrect amount of anesthesia, and how you had to administer it correctly/w the appropriate amount....i think they didnt know how to handle small rabbits and now my pet is dead...so thanks But... Do not take your rabbits here! Please, rabbits are gentle animals and require EXPERT training. Take your rabbits that is specialized in small animals.

My wife and I got our puppy from a shelter and went to North Phoenix Spay and Neuter for her to get spayed. They had a great staff and treated our puppy well. We had some concerns when our puppy started to throw up after being spayed. They had us come in the hour that she started having troubles and observed her at no cost! Also, During the first appointment we told the Vet that our puppy has been having stomach issues since we got her and has unable to eat dog food with out having diarrhea. We tried several dog foods were always unsuccessful and ended up having to make all her food by scratch. The Vet recommended a couple other dog foods for us to use and we ended up buying Merricks despite being skeptical that it would work. After a few days of feeding it two our pup we have showed no sign of diarrhea and her stools look very healthy. I highly recommend North Phoenix Spay and Neuter for any of the services they provide.

Run away!!! Expect them to upcharge and double the price they quote when you actually show up. Unacceptable. Called to get pricing for spay and was very clear about everything with our dog. 7 years old, golden retriever, under 70 lbs, just had heat cycle 2 weeks ago. Drove 30 miles to get there at 7:30 AM and they basically doubled the price they gave me over the phone. Told us that it was at the Drs discretion but didnt feel comfortable without putting an $85 catheter in during the surgery, $15 for rabies vaccine, and some other stuff that I dont remember because I started to see red. Youve been warned!!

I was very satisfied with my visit there. My kitten injured her mouth the previous evening and I called first thing in the morning to hopefully get an appointment that day, and they said to bring her right in. I brought her in to check her mouth cuts and get her vaccinated for rabies and a booster for upper respiratory infection prevention. All in all, it only took about 30 minutes from filling out paperwork to leaving the clinic. Both the vet techs and doctor were very nice and knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. Ill definitely be coming back here again and would suggest them to anyone.

We brought in our 5-month old kitten to be neutered and microchipped, and overall it was a very good experience. The woman at the front desk wasnt very receptive, and seemed unhappy to even be at work. However, when we were called back, the vet tech who checked our kittens weight and temperature was very friendly and handled our little guy very well. The doctor was very friendly, very quick and informative. We have had our little guy home for a few days now and so far so good. The suture on his incision looks very well done and we have not experienced any complications whatsoever.

Price was much cheaper to neuter my kittnes than the vet (saved $150.00!). The wait time was very long..almost an hour before we met with the vet. Some staff was friendly while others werent as much. One receptionist acutally gave my 2 yr. old daughter a little toy to play with while waiting so long and later said she could keep it. Waiting to hear back about declaw though. One cat turned out ok, but the other seems to still have discomfort and it even feels like there is a claw still there? Would recommend for spay/neuter maybe not declawing?
