I have only seen a couple of doctors here and they have been great. I see Dr. Rigby regularly and he is the best! However, I went in a few nights ago during after hours and was not at all impressed with the way the doctor treated me. I had an accident involving both of my legs and I was in a great deal of pain. So much pain that it literally made me cry. I couldnt walk well at all. I got to the clinic approximately 740pm. I realize this is close to closing at 8pm, and I honestly did feel bad. But, like most people nowdays, the ER is just waaay too much money. When we got there my husband ran in to check me in. The MA came out with a wheelchair and helped me in. She was very kind and empathetic. Then the doctor came in and asked me what happened and where. He didnt give me a chance to say much, just stopped me and said lets xray. The xray tech came and did his job. He was awesome. He tried to be very careful while doing what he needed to do and then he rolled me back to the room. A few minutes later the doctor came back. Keep in mind that since I am in a wheelchair, my back is to the door. The doctor walks in, stands behind me, and says its just bruised, only bruised so go home and put ice on it - ice will be your best friend, ice and Advil. First of all, he didnt have the courtesy to come in and talk to me face to face...then he tells me go home and get ice and Advil?! Well, as it very clearly says in my chart, I AM ALLERGIC TO IBUPROPHEN! Thanks Dr. Whatever, I wanted to make a trip to the ER tonight anyway. I stopped him, as he was stepping out of the door, my husband an I both at the same time. I mean I get that you want to go home but come on! Arent you supposed to actually treat the patient? Seriously?! At LEAST look at my chart pretty pretty please! not only would you find the allergies, but you may also see the extensive history I have with neck and back pain - ya know, since you never let me finish what I was trying to tell you before. Anyway, I stopped him and let him know I cant take ibuprofen. This is LITERALLY what happened next... From the doorway he was standing in, he said "then take Tylenol," in a cant you just leave tone. Then walked out. The nice MA came back to help me out. Now I feel stupid in the wheelchair but my legs hurt so bad and walking hurts so much! I went home and iced my knee, then wrapped my other leg myself, with my own supplies because it needed some compression and support, and put ice on it. Then I took acetaminophen and my husband helped me get comfortable. What a HUGE waste of time and money it was to be "seen" by this doctor.

I always loved Davis Family Physicians. They have a lab, a small radiology department, a pharmacy, and who knows what else on site. They also have extended hours, which is nice when urgent care is needed. However, everything changed when Ogden Clinic took over. The first time you go to the clinic you have to sign a bunch of legal documents (like you would at any doctors office). The problem is they are all digital now. You stand at the desk, with a line of people behind you listening, while the secretary asks you questions and gives a very brief description of each document. Then instructs you to sign on a signature pad. The monitor is facing the secretary, so you literally cant see what youre being asked to sign. I wanted to see what I was about to sign, and was told that I couldnt, but they could print me a copy AFTER I signed if I wanted one. As far as I can tell, you can no longer call the office. I think all calls go through a call center. This change causes multiple problems, and at times I havent even been able to get through. The wait time is also much longer that it ever was before. They dont seem to be any busier that they were before so Im not sure why this has changed so dramatically. I love the pharmacy. The entrance is in the waiting area so filling prescriptions is very convenient. The pharmacy staff is awesome, they always take time to search online for any discounts that may be available for your prescriptions. I was paying $160/month at Walmart pharmacy, and now only pay $40/month. Same insurance, same meds, amazing customer service! And, the wait is never more than a few minutes. I will continue to go to Davis Family Physicians/Ogden Clinic despite my concerns and annoyances. I like my practitioner, I love the pharmacy, and they know me and know my medical history. But at this point, I wouldnt refer a friend. I do not like the way the signing of legal documents is currently being handled.

My husband and I live in Salt Lake City, but were looking for someone who came highly recommended. So we made the drive to Layton, per all of the positive google reviews. Dr. Davis himself is very nice. He addressed the majority of my concerns, and while I felt as though he was extremely busy, he himself was great. He took about a half an hour with me for a standard exam. He called me within one day to give me lab results. Unfortunately, my husband waited over 2 weeks to hear back about standard blood work (had to call), never got patient portal access (after two emails, no calls back), and the customer service was just OK. We were also sent to a hospital in Ogden to deliver to a specimen, but turns out they didnt take our insurance. When we called to see if there were suggestions about a closer lab for this particular test, the gentleman on the phone told us to go wherever our insurance recommends. So not much help. ON the same phone call I inquired about the patient portal access (again) and he told me to just stop into the clinic. I told him it was a far drive with us being in Salt Lake and he said, "That would just be easiest for us. I cant tell you when or if they will check the voicemail for portal access". We had left a message over a week prior and this day. :-P After one more phone call with Ogden Clinic, someone else finally helped us out. But overall it was quite a bit of rigamarole. Maybe weve caught them at an off few weeks. I hope so :).

I have been feeling like I was not "well" for several years. I went to many different doctors and even specialists. I was told, it was all in my head. I was told that my symptoms didnt make any sense. I was treated for depression and anxiety. I was told it was fibromialgia. My daughter was seeing Lane Header at Davis Family Physicians and suggested that I go there. I was so tired of going to a new doctor and being told that there was nothing wrong that I put it off for about a year. Finally, I made an appt and when I explained to him that I was having severe pain, he actually believed me and even told me that he did. Well here we are, a little over a year later and guess what. I have some kind of auto immune thing going on. Lane is startng my on a treatment plan. He said that there is further testing that we need to do, but we are on the right track now. I thank god that my daughter wanted me to see Lane and that he is a person who listens and helps you when you need him to. Dont get me wrong, Im not thrilled to get this diagnosis but at least we can start testing things and start feeling better.
