I cant say enough INCREDIBLE WONDERFUL THINGS about this office. We live town in CA and our friend (who we call our adopted daughter), was on her way to Idaho to go to school and while she was in Utah, her front tooth filling fell out causing pain. We didnt know where to send her to and I called a few places and then called Midvale Family Dental and talked with Tiffany. I talked with Tiffany a few times asking every question possible about cost etc. Then I gave the number to our daughter and she called. Dr. Ryan McNeil stayed late and got her right in and gave her a wonderful discount and took care of her right away. Dr. Ryan McNeil was the Dentist who cared for her and he was amazing according to our daughter. The Dr. even spoke with me after letting me know everything turned out great. He was wonderful and his staff was wonderful and we all felt like they cared about us as individuals and not numbers. Thank you to Tiffany for first taking all our calls. Thank you to the staff for all your kindness. And ESPECIALLY thank you to Dr. Ryan McNeil for staying late, taking your time, making our daughter feel comfortable, caring for her when we couldnt be there, giving her a discount, and talking with us after. I recently went into Dr. McNeil for a standard teeth cleaning and check-up. I had been to another dentist in close proximity to his office for a few visits, but was not very impressed. I decided to try Midvale Family Dental after talking with a good friend who had absolutely glowing reviews from his office. The dental hygienist, Mykell was excellent. Very gentle and thorough. I was ready to be hit up for all of the extra treatments/ charges that accompanied a teeth cleaning as happened at my previous dentist. No such offers or pressures to add additional non-insurance covered treatments. A welcome change to have a straight forward, "what you really need" care instead of being nickled and dimed. Unfortunately I had a small cavity, Dr. McNeil took care of it right then, in less than 15 minutes. No need to schedule another appointment. Dr. McNeil was able to numb me in one shot, that was hardly felt, and no pain throughout the drilling. And since it was only one well placed shot, I had feeling back in less than 1hour. Overall, a great experience and night and day difference from my previous dentist. So glad I made the change. Excellent quality care!

My family and I have been going to Dr. McNeil for over ten years. I always enjoy going to the Dentist! It doesnt matter which staff members are there when I go, they are always happy and friendly. Dr McNeil is very good at communicating with his patients and he is great with kids of all ages! I found Dr. McNeil three days after I had taken my six year old to a new dentist who had put a silver cap on one of her teeth. The cap looked way too big for her mouth to begin with and it had fallen off. I didnt want to go back to that dentist. I walked into Midvale Family Dental and asked if I could meet the dentist. He took the time to talk to me and I decided to let him examine my six year old. He talked to me about different options for fixing her tooth. I am very grateful for the communication that he gave me that day it was a totally different dentist experience than I was used to. I would highly recommend Midvale Family Dental!

Im very fortunate to have researched the Pinhole Surgery Technique and more importantly to have found Dr. Ryan S. McNeil to perform this technique on myself. Even before the surgery, he took ample time to answer all my questions and concerns. Additionally his entire staff was more than friendly, very professional and willing to answer all my questions. The surgery technique itself went smoothly. Dr. McNeil was constantly making sure my gums were pain free as he performed the Pinhole technique. I hardly felt any pain (if at all) post surgery and only needed a little ibuprofen for a day or two. I attribute this to the skillful hands of Dr. McNeil. I would highly recommend Dr. McNeil to anyone looking into the Pinhole Surgery Technique to alleviate their receding gums dilemma.

Every Time i had gone to the dentist my jaw would pop and they never said anything about it, but the first time i went to Dr. McNeil and my jaw pop while he was examining my mouth he asked me about it and now always asks if i am ok if my jaw is tired or anything, its nice to know they care about my comfort when others did not. also when i was having a cavity filled he found a second cavity that we could not see before he actually showed me the picture he took on the computer and ask what i wanted to do. i would recommend anyone to go here, my mouth is not just a work space for my dentist and Dr. McNeil made me feel like he really cared, and made sure i knew what was going on and was apart of it. Everyone is very nice and they try to make your visit as comfortable as they can.

I called to have one wisdom tooth removed and while there, Dr. McNeal noticed one of my other wisdom teeth was shaped oddly and said he could remove it if I wanted. I got both wisdom teeth pulled in what I thought was record timing, it was as pain free as tooth extraction could be and I stayed numb until after I got my pain med prescription. He will definitely be my permanent dentist. And dont even get me started on the friendliness of the rest of the staff. Great people all around!

Dr. McNeil is a phenomenal dentist. That is saying a lot considering Im a horrendous patient. Im super sensitive amd hard to get numb and yet they are so good to me! I dont know exactly what they do, but they make dentistry virtually painless. Dr. McNeils work is impeccable and I feel he is honest and conservative in his treatment which is hard to find. My family and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Dr. McNeil and his staff. We are patients for life!

Hands down the best dentist and staff in Utah. They are friendly, funny, and will to go the extra mile. Dr. McNeil is a awesome dentist and I appreciate the time he took to figure out my tooth ache/problem and put in extra time to help me feel comfortable and not nervous during the process. Dr. McNeil does great work and is very friendly! Going in for a visit is actually enjoyable because the staff is friendly, they take the time to get to know you, and you get to watch tv and sit in a massage chair while youre getting youre work done. I have been going here for about 10 years and have sent many friends and my family here and will continue to do so, I recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist!
