I went to Dr. Smith for 6 years until this last week. I went in with major tooth pain. He performed a "fix" and sent me on my way with a follow up a week later to "redo" a root canal. The pain did not go away, it got worse. I ended up with emergency oral surgery that evening to drain the infection, followed up by a root canal a day later to fix what Dr. Smith had done. Upon further x-ray by the endodontist (only place you should have a root canal done EVER!) it was found that Dr. Smith had left a piece of file INSIDE the canal of my tooth. This is malpractice. He should have told me and referred me to an endo. When I called to cancel my follow up the receptionist didnt bother to ask why. Upon further discussion with my oral surgeon and endodontist it was brought to my attention that there are several other major problems going on that Dr. Smith has not addressed with me and its plain to see on an x-ray that I saw at my new dentists office. I will not be returning to Dr. Smith and I have several family members that will not be returning either. Go to a specialist for special dental needs, they have the proper skill set and training.

I have been going to Smith Dental for nearly 5 years and Josh Smith is an excellent dentist and a truly wonderful human being. I have needed a lot of very intense dental work done on-going for many years now. My teeth were in bad shape when I was introduced to Smith Dental and over the years the whole staff has become like a second family to me. I have had to see them all quite regularly and all of them have always been friendly, positive, and reassuring, as well as very professional and excellent at all their jobs. It is a strange thing to say about a Dental office, but it eventually got to where I really looked forward to going to appointments because I got to see all my friends. They really all are wonderful people and Dr. Josh Smith is truly good at what he does and one of the most generous people you will ever meet.

I highly recommend Dr. Smith at Smith Dental Care. He and his staff are some of the most sweetest people I have ever met. They can get you in and out of pain fast! If you arent a fan of dentists this is the place for you. You will feel more like you are hanging out with friends than just being their patient. Most dentist offices you just lay there and awkwardly listen to the conversation between them. Here they actually include you even though you cant really say anything. Time goes by so much faster and you dont feel like a weird eavesdropper when you accidentally laugh at something funny they say. You also will be so focused on the conversation that you wont even notice all those sounds that used to make you feel uneasy. After going there you will actually look forward to future appointments.

This is the best dental office Ive been to! My Wife, my Boys and I have seen Dr. Smith many times now. Hes the dentist that we all trust and the person we all respect. What an amazing Dentist and Person. We all enjoy talking to him and to his staff - a team of family. They are all so professional, friendly, courteous and caring. They all make you feel comfortable and theyre always on time every time and on arrival. Also, they always keep you informed throughout the whole process from appointments and treatment plans to Insurance and payments. The office design is simply amazing and always immaculate and clean. The TVs and technology inside the office is state of the art. My family and I are so blessed to have met Dr. Smith and his staff. Thank you all so much for all you do.

The whole staff at Smith Dental Care is amazing! They make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in and are so personable. I still have anxiety for fear of shots and bad news that seems to come from dental visits, however Dr. Smith literally has the magic touch and I dont even realize I am getting a shot. When you need something fixed, they do everything they can to give you options and make things more managable. I have taken my kids there since their first visit, Dr.Smith and the staff are so full of energy and go above and beyond to make my kids comfortable and make it a fun! My 7 year old gets so excited when she gets to go to the dentist, seriously, who does that! I cannot recommend them enough!

I have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Smith and his staff! Everyone who works here is super friendly, including Dr. Smith, and they are usually able to get me in pretty quickly when I need it. The last two times I have called needing an ASAP appointment, they have been able to get me in either the same day or the next day. In addition, I never feel like Dr. Smith is pushing me to do things that arent necessary. He takes the time to explain things to me, and tells me when something can wait, and when something needs to be done immediately. I trust that hes not just trying to get me to get dental work done so he can get paid. I cant recommend them enough!

Im not sure what I can say to convince you to go to Smith Dental Care. But you should. I happened upon this practice by chance, because Dr. Smith did my wisdom teeth extraction with the Wisdom Teeth Guys. He did my follow-up at his practice, and ever since, my whole family has come to him. Hes a very easy going doctor, who makes you feel comfortable and makes sure youre informed. His whole staff are amazing, and each one great at what the do. You can feel a great energy when you walk in, and we always leave smiling. Not to mention laugh through the whole visit. Who else can say that about their dental appointments ?

Dr. Joshua Smith has been our family dentist for a few years now. My husband has never been comfortable with going to the dentist due to some bad experiences. However my husband is completely comfortable with Dr. Smith! Dr. Smith is very solicitous about his patients comfort. He is thorough, gentle, fast, sure to explain everything to his patient, and discusses all options for care and your financial circumstances. I trust him completely. The office staff and technicians are all pleasant, efficient, and work quickly. We would happily recommend Smith Dental Care!

Dr Smith and his staff are excellent! When I moved back to Utah I needed to find a Dentist. My Son was going to Smith Dental and highly recommended them. I have always found them to be professional and efficient. My wife had a problem on a Friday afternoon and Dr Smith was more than willing to come in on Saturday to address the issue. Not sure who hires his staff, but they have done an amazing job. They are always friendly and cheerful. It is almost a pleasure to go to the dentist.

Just had my first visit to Smith Dental and I have to say I loved it. Everyone was so friendly and they really went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I am going to need a lot of work done in the next couple of months but they made me feel really good about my treatment options. I cant believe that I am actually looking forward to coming back (no one says that about their dentist). I am really happy that I finally found an amazing Dental office!
