Intermountain Homecare has been a continual round of disappointment for me and my wife. They have dropped the ball so often and on so many things that it is simply unbelievable. They dont tell you that things are not covered, so youll find yourself with charges after-the-fact. They claim that they have done pre-authorizations with the insurance company that they havent, or just simply fail to do them. They have equipment that is so marginal that it is extremely difficult or impossible to use, and have no ability to order better equipment. They drop the ball over and over, and you are forced to baby them along, calling again and again, if you want any traction on anything. I have no experience with other companies, but I would definitely avoid Intermountain Homecare at all costs. If you choose to go with them, good luck, and prepare for continual frustration!

These guys and girls are so compassionate. I just wanted the staff to know how much it meant to me to go there tonight. I went in pretty nervous to start a medication and they were nothing but comforting and kind. When I got there, they were literally there waiting to get me in right away! I cant even express how much it means to have someone to truly listen and address my concerns. They made me comfortable and made me feel as if I were in the comfort of good friends even though they were nearly strangers. They even went out of their way to pick up the medication and fit me in on a holiday eve. I have never experienced the kindness that i did tonight at any kind of office, especially medical. I just wanted to publicly thank them for going out of their way to help me feel better. Thank you all and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

I tried to return a brand new breast pump that is completely sealed in a vacuum bag and they said that they couldnt take it. They only have one brand of pump and of course I didnt question them because I am not the one that would be using it. When I got home my wife informed me that it wasnt the one she wanted, after the box was open. Sure wish they would have told me that we couldnt return it if the BOX was open! Which has nothing to do with the cleanliness of the pump itself.

You have to watch these guys. I dont think they are honest. ... They repeatedly slip items onto the invoice that I asked NOT to buy. So this time I made 4 calls to IHCs insurance and to IHCs homecare to be sure of covered insurance codes. I ordered only what was covered, yet they still billed for additional items I specifically asked NOT to receive. .... This is the third time in 6 months I need to spend hours on the phone to get them to drop bogus charges.

One of the biggest, if not the biggest home-care supply company and they cant supply my five (5) months old daughter with an alternative medical devise, because they dont carry it. The respective said they are going to a standardization and anything outside of that they dont care about. So, I concluded that Intermountain Homecare doesnt care about my five (5) month old daughter, because she does not fit the norm.

Didnt know how great Intermountain Home Care Enteral Feeding was until our insurance changed and we werent able to use them anymore. Intermountain always got us the correct supplies and quantities in a very timely manner and went out of their way to do so. We have since had to use Apria for medical supplies and its been awful. Thanks Intermountain for being great!

The new did a good job on taking care of my wifes trach and they did a good job on supplies getting what she didnt she got her trach out but when we needed them they where good

Most of the staff is great. Although the nurse Margarita is not friendly at all. She just thinks its all about her time and no one elses. My clients time is valuable.
