I took my previous dog there for all 10 years I had him, and I cant complain about his treatment until the end. I didnt have a regular doctor there and saw whoever fit my schedule, but assumed each one reviewed the charts before his appointments to familiarize themselves with his history. When he collapsed and couldnt stand, I rushed him to the vet where they drew blood, ran tests, etc. One week later, I took him back and this time I noticed my dogs weight listed on the receipt was 10lbs less than a week ago. I was alarmed and called and was told they just didnt update their system regularly. I went back through his records to find he had lost about 20% of his body weight in 6 months - something that should have been a red flag to the doctors there! Turns out he had liver disease and after specialists and thousands of dollars, I got about 6 more months with him. When it came time to put him down, I did so at the emergency vet since it was a Sunday and Falls Church Animal Hospital wasnt open. The specialist who had been seeing him wasnt in that day, but on Tuesday I received a condolence card from her. I called Falls Church to tell them I put my dog down, returned unused fluids and donated unused dog food - I never got so much as a card or a call from them! While they front desk staff there was fabulous, I am still very disappointed that the doctors there missed a key indicator of a health issue and never reached out to offer there sympathy after being a client for so many years. So much so that when I got my new dog, I found a new vet.

I Have been a patron to Falls church Animal Hospital for 15 years and can honestly say I really feel like a part of there family.besides being treated with the ut most respect the service is superior to any other vets I have ever been to. the customer service alone is superior. I had my german shephard being treated at another local vet the bills were outrageous and she never got better I Took her to Falls church Animal hospital and after the first visit there was tremendous improvement I brought in a stray cat that had many issues and that was also a amazing experience I give Falls church Animal Hospital ten stars for outstanding service and exceptional love and knowledge for there customers

From letting go of beloved animals to bringing new ones into the family, the doctors and support staff are critical care providers to our continuing menagerie. I especially like the new electronic appointments system, since it makes it so much easer to schedule and manage our pets health needs. You cant find a better veterinary health care provider in our community.

I have been taking pets to Falls Church Animal Hospital since the early 1970s when my class Guinea pig (named Sonny Jurgenson by the sixth graders) got sick. All of my own familys animals-- many cats and dogs over all those years-- have received excellent veterinary care and a lot of TLC. And-- as one or another passed away-- the understanding and support was wonderful. Cant say enough for the staff! The Falls Church Animal Hospital is an excellent place to take your pets for care. They have made the first few weeks of owning a newly adopted dog (who came with his fair share of medical issues) much easier and less stressful than it could have been. The staff are all friendly and smart, seem genuinely interested in your pet, have great hours/flexibility (had to make one unscheduled visit in the first week), and great programs to provide coverage (and peace of mind) for the entire spectrum of pet health. Already recommended them to a few friends/family members with pets.

Dr. Amy Yam was fantastic. I visited the FC Animal Hospital because my dog had blood in her urine. Dr. Yam calmly told me what to do, had my dog stay there for a couple hours so she could get a good clean urine sample and gave me some antibiotics. She has followed up with a phone call on the results of the urine sample and we are taking the proper steps to heal my dog. It was a very thorough appointment making sure my dog was properly diagnosed.

Started taking our pup here after a bad experience with another vet practice. Always friendly, never have a problem getting an appointment, and easy to get in touch with the Dr. if we have questions. Highly recommend. My only reservation is that they seem very intent on making sure we buy any medications from them rather than shopping around, but if they need to mark them up a bit to keep the good service, Im ok with that.

The woman who answered the phone keeps saying things that she wasnt completely sure of. She said to get a health certificate, I need to bring my cat in 60 days in advance when the USDA clinic in Richmond only certifies health certificates that are within 10 days of travelling. When verified, she keeps putting me on hold. Very frustrating and will probably not going here.

Very positive. The staff is very professional checking clients in and taking care of prescriptions and billing. The doctors are also very professional in handling my pets and made suggestions to ease their trauma of going to the vet clinic. I highly recommend this animal hospital over others that Ive used in past.

Very professional and caring service. Even when I visit the hospital to make food or other purchases without my dog, the staff always asks about my pet -- and always by name. It always impresses me that they remember her name. I could not be more pleased with the quality of care and attention they provide.

Falls Church Animal Hospital has been our companion through the lives of six or seven cats. We have always been impressed with their efficiency, competence and compassion. They dont over or under-treat our pets and they keep their appointments timely. Weve gotten very fond of the vets and staff at FCAH.

The staff here are always courteous and attentive to my dogs needs. The place is well kept and the services are reasonably priced. Ive always left feeling like my dog was in good hands and that the recommendations and diagnoses were as accurate, fair, and sincere. Best veterinary practice in the area.

Although the vets here are highly skilled and caring (why I gave 2 stars), I would say dealing with the office staff and nurses is very challenging to say the least. The admin staff needs to show more appreciation and respect for owners PAYING for services and medical care for their pets.

I just adopted my dog in October and asked for recommendations from my neighbors where to go. FCAH came up the most and I can see why. From the front desk staff to the vets and assistants, everyone there seemed to genuinely want to put my dog and myself at ease.
