We went to the ER yesterday, and while were were seen quickly I was very disappointed in the demeanor of our doctor. My daughter, who needed to receive stitches was the patient and I informed the doctor that she has a phobia of anything touching her face. I told her it was a major concern since her face was where she needed to get them. This doctor noted that and said there was nothing she could do about it, and while that was understood I had hoped she would have a decent understanding of how she would need to handle her, I.E. sensitively! But that was unfortunately not the case. The doctor had no beside manner and spoke to my child as if she was an adult and could understand what she was saying. To make matters worse the doctor lost the thread to the stitches several times making the process even longer. She never tried to soothe my daughter or tell her how well she was doing, but preferred to say you cant feel this so it cant hurt, I dont know why you are crying. She told her she had to stop crying and gave her nothing to feel better about. It hurt me to hear my daughter crying out that it hurt her and to hear the doctor so casually dismiss it. I understand having received my own stitches that sometimes there is nothing you can do to help but I am an adult and I think bedside manner is the second utmost important thing you can have as a doctor to help the situation, especially with a CHILD who is 5!!!!!!!

Do not even think of going there, even if your life depended on it! There a many other hospitals in the area who are organized and do not "lose" your records. This hospital is a horrible mess, and not focused on patient service at all. About 3 weeks ago, I went to this " hospita" for a Heart Scan. At that time, I also filled out a request to receive a hard copy of the Report and the Disc of the CT scan as I will be going to see several other physicians who are not part of this network. A week later, I received the Disc but no hard copy of the Radiologist Report. I immediately called the records Dept. I spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with them, was transferred to 9 different employees ( including 2 supervisors) trying to get a copy of the Report that I already filled out the request for. No one could find my signed request. I was supposed to go see my pulmonologist in the next couple of days and really needed the report. No one could help. Left messages to several supervisors, on subsequent days, who-amazingly enough were no where to be found-. Still have to hear from any of those supervisors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is by far the Worst hospital I have ever seen

My wife was taken their last night with a 2nd degree burn, with is Ive been told extremely painful. She was crying and practically screaming in pain and they put her in a wheelchair, shoved her around the corner and let her wait for OVER AN HOUR!! Her whole body was shaking from pain and shock. The nurse that finally showed up to put some ointment on the areas she burned seemed like she was inconvenienced. Im not sure if they realize they are suppose to be an EMERGENCY room. We wouldve had better luck going to a regular walk in doctor and wouldve been seen probably within 5 mins. This was absolutely ridiculous to let someone in SERIOUS OBVIOUS pain wait for this long! I do not recommend this hospital to anyone, unless you enjoy waiting, being treated by mostly uncaring staff (the only 2 friendly people were the ones checking her out and giving her crutches!), dont go there. Im sure well get a fat bill on top of it. Probably getting charged for upsetting other patients due to the noise she made from being in pain. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

The nurses were friendly but the doctors were totally disregarding. I arrived at the ER at 8:30am with extreme pelvic pain. I waited for testing for 5 hours with little regards to pain relief. It was not until after 1:30pm that I was given something orally for pain relief and it was not nearly enough to cover my pain. By the time I was given something intravenously it was 5:15pm...ALMOST 9 HOURS AFTER MY ARRIVAL and the doctor gave me so little pain medicine, again, that it barely gave any pain relief at all. I laid on the bed curled up in the fetal position for most of the time because I was in so much pain. After all testing was done it was found that I had a pelvic mass that needed immediate attention for surgery. I was given information to follow-up with a surgeon and was discharged at 11pm still in the same horrible pain I came in for. So for 14 1/2 hours in the ER...I left without feeling any better than when I came in.

I would have been better off staying home and dying then going there and being humiliated they spoke down to me like I was some kind of 2 year old. I told them my pain was severe but it was like a joke to them as they could not find what the problem was so the blamed it on me. Gave me pain meds and sent me home; which landed me in the emergency room again the next day; With again no success these doctors have very poor inadequate training and knowledge to help people in severe pain, other then take blood and just because white and red cells are not effected they believe you have no real issue, again lacking insight and then blame it on the patient. And to think that I have to pay for help like that curls my stomach. So conclusion inadequate training and knowledge to help ones with life threatening issues that they know nothing about.

I was at the ER on Saturday with lesions on my skin. I was concerned that it was a staph infection and was told it was not. I was given antibiotics and sent home. No culture was taken, no blood drawn, and the lesions were not even cleaned. The doctor told me that it was a breast infection, was definitely breast related, to get my mammogram right away and to follow up with my OB/GYN or my general surgeon. I saw my general surgeon today and he said it was a form of MRSA and had nothing to do with my breast. He also told me not to get my mammogram until it was completely healed and prescribed me an additional medication in addition to the antibiotics that were prescribed by the ER doctor. He then referred me to an Infectious Disease doctor. Pretty bad when the ER cant tell MRSA from a normal skin lesion!!!

I went to the hospital after an incident that had happened at home and the staff at the hospital were just so judgmental and rude to me and my family. The nurses not only were talking s**t about me right in front of me and staring at me, but then rudely said to me "no sweetie, we were talking about other things" once I called them out on it. I have also heard them talk s**t about other patients in the hospital before right in front me as if thats totally acceptable. The unprofessionalism is ridiculous. They also have sent me home 3 times in the past for other things without ever diagnosing me with ANYTHING or even giving me any sort of result, and they have you wait HOURS just to have them come back with no results. Worst experience(s) I have ever had at a hospital.
