This has been absolutely the most unprofessional medical establishment Ive ever encountered. The shortest wait Ive had for my appointments was 45 min, longest being 1.5 hours. The staff is unapologetic about the wait, or the fact that no one from the office will return my phone calls, despite their assurances that someone will. The front staff is inept - they dont seem to have much medical knowledge, despite working in a medical facility. I called at least (and Im not exaggerating) six times regarding a physiatrist referral that was not being taken care of, and they CONTINUALLY wrote in in the notes as psychiatrist, even after I spelled it for them on multiple occasions. My medication refill needs have been ignored, I cant make appointments to talk to the doctor because the wait is too long and I cant spend an entire day at this place, and since the staff who answer phones dont have knowledge or authority to do anything but take messages and assure me that Ill get a phone call back, and neither the doctor nor the nurse will return my calls, I feel very alone here. It is for this reason that I am leaving this health center and urge you to not bother using these people. This has been an extremely frustrating situation, and quite honestly I dont understand how its even legal for them to neglect patients like this.

I recently lost my health care coverage when I changed jobs and was referred here by the Portsmouth Health Department as I was in need of a nursing school physical. The intake staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Due to their sliding scale, I paid the full cost, which broke the bank. I sat in the lobby for a good 45 minutes before I was called back. The nurse was extremely efficient in getting the things done on the form that she was authorized to do. I waited, and waited, and waited to see Dr. Christie, but she was apparently behind as a gentleman came in and asked if I was willing to see the NP. I agreed since I was now teetering on two hours and just wanted to get home. She could not have been more condescending. She treated me as if I were a 15 year old girl coming in and asking for birth control. They had no tuberculin skin tests available so I have to come back for that (twice). Once I finish my physical and get my labs back, needless to say, I wont be returning. Im not trying to pay over $300 to be treated like a second-class citizen.

I have no health insurance, so I had to find someone with low cost that I could afford to see. Two hours later.... took forever to get checked in because all of the staff except for one person went to lunch, get back to the dr and she really just kind of placates me and smiles and nods her head. Gives me a diagnosis and a prescription and sends me on my way. Prescription isnt put in correctly, call about some side effects from the meds and the on call dr was extremely helpful and did her best to guide me. She is what gives them the 2 stars. Im just not real comfortable with them, and do not think I will be going back. Id rather pay 5 times more and see someone with a better reputation.

I walked in thinking I was seeing a psychiatrist instead of a family practitioner. My insurance company listed it as a psychiatrist. I ended up getting a routine physical by Dr. Rosenberg. He was very thorough and was able to discover some issues I didnt know I had. He genuinely seemed to care about my wellbeing. Although I didnt get my psychiatric needs met, he found an issue I wasnt aware of and I am now in treatment. I cant speak for the negative reviews I have seen posted, but Dr. Rosenberg does genuinely care for his patients. I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to his well diligence. Thank you so much!!! You are a true doctor!

My experience was the absolute worse! The medical team shows little to no concern as to why you are there. Some one from the Portsmouth office called and left no name or the reason for the call! I tried calling the call center and was told that no one from the office had any knowledge of the call! Im most upset because it could be something seriously wrong with me and now I have to wait for a call or schedule another visit just for test results! Do not go get care from the Portsmouth office!

Dr. Rosenberg is absolutely rude and should not be practicing medicine. He is not a good asset to the medical field or to the people he is "helping". The nurses are by far the best thing about this place. The wait time is always ridiculous. The front office is short staffed all the time as well as the doctors. Dont waste your time coming here.

I went early in the morning. They got me in and out. The staff was extremely friendly. Their follow-up was good even though the lab they sent my blood work to was mistaken about my results. I was not expecting such good service from this place. I will continue to go until I find a steady doctor.

DO NOT GO HERE!! YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT 45 MIN- 1 HOUR BEFORE THEY EVEN CALL YOU BACK. IF YOU HAVE A JOB OR THINGS TO DO, YOU BETTER CANCEL BECAUSE THIS WILL LITERALLY CONSUME HALF OF YOUR DAY & NO ONE IS EVER IN A HURRY.

Slow. Transfered the doctor I was seeing in the middle of my treatment & wouldnt allow me to see her at new location. I havent been back, nor seen another doctor since then, over two years ago.
