First, I would like to say that Dr. Adams is fantastic. The only reason I continue to use Plum Tree is because of her. That said, I had a horrific experience with the office staff via phone this morning. I attend university out of state so I always plan my appointments for the week of Thanksgiving, when I am home. I called to verify the time of my appointment and to double check on insurance information because I had left my card with my Dad. I was told that I could not have a copy of the card and that a card from another family member was not acceptable (even though all the info is EXACTLY the same). I was told to call my insurance provider to have them send me proof of insurance. I did, and that is not something they do, for good reason. I called back and tried to see if there was any way I could be seen (it takes months in advance for me to get an appointment for a specific day). They said no, and THEN informed me it had not been a full year since my last appointment and I could not be seen anyway. I made an appointment 2 days short of a year. I expressed my disspapointment for having been told this the day of my appointment and not a month ago when I made it. I was told it was my fault, I should know the exact date of my appointment (a year ago). The entire convorsation I was treated like a child. Considering the various (3) people I had spoken with all were coarse and condescending, I dont think I was the one who needed to be treated like a child. I also dont think that any customer should ever be treated in that manner. The manager was the worst of all 3 and she insisted the entire situation was my fault, including the scheduling. I eventually just had to say "Thank You" and hang up. I had choice words once the conversation was over as I have never experienced anything like that in my life. I do know, that I will be billed for my missed appointment though, they are always reliable in that sense.

Ive been a long time patient of this office through my teenage years and into young adult hood and for the most part loved coming here. However over time it got more difficult to see my Primary Dr - Gillian Adams and youd have to schedule further and further out in advance. So over this time, Ive become more accustomed to seeing the PAs and nurses. No big deal. In 2009, I came down with a horrendous cold with bad symptoms and scheduled an appointment with the PA or nurse. They accomodated me and I came in two days into the cold and was the last patient at their lunch hour. I saw the assistant and she gave me some drops and said shed be back in ten minutes. I laid down and relaxed to wait for her; and some time must have gone by because I awoke and it was half an hour later. To my dismay, I learned that she had gone out to lunch w/o finishing up my appointment with her. I was very upset and told the admin staff that I was going to leave and could she please fill my prescription at my drug store. They tried to convince me to stay but I didnt have the time to wait for an assistant who went out to lunch while I needed to get back to work. Anyhow, I felt that I shouldnt be charged for that appointment and I was only able to communicate this by leaving messages on their prescription line. And unfortunately, my insurance company still got charged for this poor excuse of a service. Adams must be too busy traveling to Egypt and Costa Rica to pay attention what goes on back at the office.

I had a appointment for new patient at 11 am. I got there at 5 minutes till, a woman who was very rude, inconsiderate, and I believe her name was Stephanie ,told me I could not see the Dr. because I did not come early enough for my paper work, that I know I could have filled out within 5 minutes. While she was raising her voice being rude all the patients in the office could hear everything with her being so loud, one patient even apologized for her rudeness and said the Dr. Was super nice.So on this note theu she asked me to reschedule I said no thank you not after the way you treated me and she asked what about your husband and I said no thank you again and told her she just last the doctor two good patients. So on this note be careful before you schedule appointments. Thus was the rudest anyone has ever treated me it actually hurt my heart especially since I was do sick and needed to see the Doctor:(

I have been going to Plumtree for my primary care since 2014, and Ive had a good experience. I have only seen PA Fedor and PA Overacre, so I cant speak to the other physicians, but I have been more than happy with the service and expertise I have gotten so far. It is a busy practice, so you have to plan ahead for regularly scheduled appointments, but I had no problem getting an appointment when I had a more urgent need. I think this practice does a good job of focusing on the patients, and strongly recommend them.

I will never recommend this health center to any of my enemies! Their service is horrible. Doctor would not see a patient for more than one reason. You have to make different appointments for different reasons which is terrible! Dr. Knight is too busy talking about other stuff than taking care of his patient. Front desk people are stupid, they need more and more training. They will never call back even though you leave multiple messages. Again, I would recommend this health center to any of my enemies!

Office policies and staff are terrible. They do not care about the patient and will not make phone calls, accept faxes, or take letters to doctors. They will not tell you when a prescription or referral is ready for pick-up. My insurance had to send someone to re-explain basic insurance protocol. The PA will issue prescriptions without checking for preexisting conditions. Until they have basic courtesy training and change their policies to care about the patient, this is not a good practice!

This is probably the worst group of doctors in Harford County. Ive never been to a doctors office that charges you interest on a missed appointment. I pleaded with the office trying to explain that I had a death in the family and had to rush to hospital with family but in their eyes this was not a excusable reason to miss appointment. Also the referrals to see their specialist were just the same. I have no reason to lie and would never recommend this practice to anyone. Thanks.

I see Dr Robert Knight 5 stars plus! and the same with all of the staff! They are very helpful and have accommodated me whenever there has been a conflict. I receive reminders via text and phone so I never miss an apt, I also get my bloodwork done at the same location, saves a trip and best of all the best "stick" around for bloodwork and shots, quick and painless. Highly recommend.

Charged my son and myself a missed appointment fee for a appointment that when I called their office for directions messaged said they were closed. Called and told it would be corrected, now I just received a call from a debt collector. Never stepped foot inside of their office or signed any paperwork for them.
