I came to patient first because I was 14 weeks pregnant at the time and I was experiencing extreme stomach cramps/spasms every 5 minutes. My doctors office was closed and I didnt want to sit for a long period of time in an ER waiting room, so I came here. They took my insurance information, checked my vitals and sat me in a waiting room. After about 30 minutes of waiting, a provider came into the room. I told her my problem and she basically told me that she couldnt help me because that wasnt an area she was familiar with and that I needed to go to an ER. So I left and ended up sitting in an ER for 3 hours. Fast forward to a month later, I get a bill in the mail saying I owe them $213!!! For "medical care." I didnt receive any care. I was basically turned away because they didnt have an ultrasound machine nor a doctor who could actually tell me my problem. Besides my vitals, they never even touched me. So what medical care did I receive? A BP and HR reading? That costs $213 now!! This is a ripoff!

AMAZING PATIENT CARE .... I am in the medical field , so I know the difference between what is good and what is not....PATIENT FIRST was AMAZING. I have no complaints. The Physician Asst. Ms. Montgomery is AWESOME. So gentle, compassionate and caring. You can tell she loves what she does and that the company treats there employees well. You can just feel all the happiness in the air. The front desk person, Ms. Jimenez, was great and filled with compassion and care. The medical asst. was also great at her job. The whole experience was a 11 on a scale from 1 -10. Believe me, I know poor patient care, I have managed medical centers and surgery centers for years. Thank you PATIENT FIRST....YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE MY BUSINESS....

Receptionist professionalism is terrible. Customer service is terrible called there twice representative left me on hold for over 4 minutes without coming back to the line to verify the answer to the question I had asked. The second time I called back to voice the last issue I had with no attitude to simply ask a question in regards to what insurance they support and without checking I was told "I dont think so" the lady didnt even check she was to busy trying to have an attitude. Word of advice if you dont know how to deal with customers dont work a customer service job ladies. I will go through extremes to call corporate especially if my insurance is covered by this establishment

Everyone there was great, except the actual doctor. I thought he was a bit rude. He kept his back to me the whole time and only turned around to look at me once while I was there. After I left, he probably wouldnt be able to tell anyone what color my hair was, or if I wore glasses or not. I understand that this is kind of an in and out/fast paced facility, but the people there shouldnt be so impersonal and cold to the patients. Overall, the visit was good. I was able to get the meds I needed quickly and I am already feeling much better. I would say he is a good doctor, just needs to work on his people skills a bit.

Visited this location with a family member twice this week. The first time we were in and out within an hour or so. However, I was billed for a flu shot and did not receive it. The second visit was for a different injury. There were a handful of people waiting but I seemed to get called back within minutes. However, I sat in the back waiting for the doctor for over two hours and still did not get seen by a doctor. On the way out, they asked if I needed to get some x-rays?? I guess it was a nice attempt to get some money before I walked out and they got nothing. Thanks for wasting my time.

I had been sick for over a week and decided to go to the Hampton Patient first instead of the Newport News office(this is near my home) because I was looking for my favorite doctor.. Dr. Isaac! But he was not there yesterday and instead I was seen by Arnice Johnson who is one of the Physician Assistants. I was NOT disappointed.. She had a very nice bedside manner and was extremely thorough with the treatment for my condition. She is awesome!!! Thanks to your your care and treatment, I am feeling so much better today!!! Thank you, Arnice Johnson!!! Ill be back for sure.

Im a Trauma ER Travel Registered Nurse and went to a Patient First for the very first time, this location actually! The staff were excellent, from greeting me at the door, wait time less than 4 mins, door to doc time less than 10mins and a pharmacy on site! I certainly receive many patients sent to the ER from these sites but Ive never had such a great experience visiting a doc while out of town! Total door to door time was less than 30 mins with a great experience, solid diagnosis and treatment. Thank you for this experience and the excellent care!

I arrived around 4:30pm on a Wednesday. My wait when I walked in the door was mere seconds. I took care of the check in and paper work and they immediately called me back to an exam room. I did have to wait for the Doctor once back there for about 20 minutes but when he came in to see me he gave me his total care and spent enough time with me to figure out what was wrong and to make sure I understood everything. It was not rushed and I liked the convinience of buying the RX right there how easy is that! Nice place.

Every time Ive had to take my daughter (2 years old) there Ive had an amazing experience. They really try to make the entire visit as stress free for my daughter. Dr. Pierce I must rave about most of all. He made everything fun for my daughter and not once she didnt cry nor scream and trust me this was the first time her seeing a doctor without crying. The whole time, she just wanted to follow the doctor around and hold her (which his did.) I was highly impressed and would definitely recommend this place

I waited 3 hours for the doctors to talk to me. People that came in after i did left hours before i got helped, when i did get attention they just looked at my X-rays and decided to give me pills to magically cure my problem, the pills didnt work. Now i got to pay for what my insurance i couldnt cover and for the bloody pills. The staff there was cold and unwelcoming, there might some decent staff members there that are better then the ones i had, but i digress, Im never going to a patient first again.

I had an excellent experience with this location for two visits -- one in April this year and one a few days ago. The staff was very pleasant, especially the physician. My wait time in the waiting area was quite short -- I went during a time when there were few people needing to be seen. The wait time for the physician was a little long, but not too long as to seem out of place. The facility is nice and I will be visiting again if further care is needed for anything.
