We LOVE Dr. Joy!!! After having a somewhat traumatic experiences at a previous dentist, I sought recommendations for a new one from other moms at my sons school. Dr. Joys name came up twice, we switched, and we couldnt be happier... Everyone from the front desk staff, to the techs, to Dr. Joy herself have been absolutely amazing - everything thats being done is explained directly to my son (who is 10), before it happens, so there are no surprises. I especially appreciate this as a healthcare professional, in that they respect the concerns of the patient, & treat him as an active participant in his oral care (as opposed to just speaking to me, the parent, and excluding him from the conversation). Care is thoughtful, gentle, and kind... Even though the office is an almost 30 minute drive from us, it is worth it in having the piece of mind - going to the dentist is something my son looks forward to!

I am absolutely amazed by these dental professionals. For starters, the office staff always have been personable with gentle tones and warm smiles. The only wait time I had was filling out the paperwork because I didnt finish beforehand because I had the paperwork in advance, my fault; the dental hygienists explained and foreshadowed everything they did, what my kids would see, hear, and feel. They even let them touch some of the tools to acclimate them beforehand. Dr. Joy is amazing! She was so professional, gentle, patient, and informative. My children LOVED the entire experience and the prizes and are asking when theyre going back. Lastly, the lobby is well suited for children. Love the iPads with Starfall! We will be seeing her for all of our pediatric dental needs!

It was my daughters first dental appointment and EVERYONE was gentle and kind with warm smiles and friendly personalities. The office was welcoming and very kid friendly. My daughter had NO PROBLEMS adjusting to this new environment. All approaches and techniques were age appropriate and Dr. JOY was WONDERFUL in answering my questions with ease and competence. Because I had terrible experiences as a child with the dentist thus resulting in a terrible dental history I am glad my almost two year old daughters experience will be altogether different. Im glad I was recommended to come here and will recommending everyone I know to come here as well.

We were warmly greeted as soon as we came in the door. The receptionist is so sweet and friendly. The waiting area is inviting and perfect for kids. The office is very clean and organized. The staff is amazing!! My son (4) loved it! My daughter (2) was very anxious and had a rough time (typical terrible 2?!) but the staff was very kind and stayed positive. Dr. Joy is wonderful with the kids and explained everything as she went along. The kids loved their "goody bag" and picking a prize. I look forward to future visits and am so happy we were recommended to this office. Thank you!

Me and my daughters first experience was very welcoming and not at all an intimidating environment like I experienced when I was a child. They have tvs on the ceiling for each patient to watch a favorite movie while laying in the chair during a checkup. Which is a really good idea for the young children. Not to mention that each staff member is friendly and down to earth with each child to comfort there visit. With all that aside, when my daughter tells me she likes the dentist (?what child says that?) I cant help but recommend others to Dr. Joy Phelps.

I have four children, all under the age of 12, who are patients of Dr. Joy. They love their dentist and cant wait for six month checkups. Dr. Joy and her staff are simply amazing. Words like professional, competent, and personable dont do them justice. Dr. Joy truly cares for my children as if they are her own family members. Dr. Joy absolutely lives up to her name, as it is a joy to take my children to her for their dental care. I would recommend her to any and everyone!!!

From the moment we walked in the door, everyone was very welcoming. Dr. Joy and Myrna were very gentle and took the time to explain to my son (3 years) everything they were doing. They were ready to answer any questions I had, and were very helpful in suggesting ways to break my sons thumb sucking habit. My son loved the televisions on the ceilings and the treats he got after a great checkup! I look forward to our next visit in 6 months!

My children are 5 and 3 and have never been to the dentist before. My older was quite nervous even though I tried to make it a fun thing to do. Right when we walked in the office staff was friendly and it was very inviting for kids. I was truly impressed by how well Myrna involved my kids in everything she was doing. My 6 year old absolutely loves Dr. Joy and Mrs. Myrna. He loves adding his pic to the No Cavity Club each visit. OH, CANT FORGET THE IPADS AND MOVIES. Everyone who works with this clinic is super nice. I always get greeted with a smile from the front desk to the back office. I love the type of customer service your office displays. My daughter loves the no cavity club that promotes having healthy teeth. This place is so great. I dont mind the drive for excellent customer service. Thank you.
