The doctors are fine but their staff, especially front office coordinators, are rude. There have been numerous scheduling errors on their part. Patient would show up to an appointment and theyd simply state that the doctor inquired does not work that day blah blah blah. I have worked in the healthcare field for over 5 years and know that is ignorance on their part. Someone should double check the days patients and make sure everything is correct. It is very unprofessional, on their part, to show up to an appointment and be told that there was a scheduling mistake, multiple times. If a patient would have missed an appointment, theyd get penalized for it, however, what makes them assume that its alright to treat patients that way. They dont even try to be apologetic about it either, "If you dont like our services, you can find another place" they say. Thats borderline, patient abandonment, which is a form of medical malpractice. I dont care, you can be the greatest doctor out there, but if your staff is like this, something needs to change because the doctor is responsible for their staff and a lawsuit is ready to happen. If you are looking for a professional, safe and friendly environment, look elsewhere. I hope that someone from the office takes notice of this review and makes some drastic changes, otherwise, you have lost a patient.

I have been using Sound Mental Health services for the last 5 years for my grandchildren for their needs. The resources, I have used is the clinicians for each child, Peer Specialist Cathy Clem and Jody Schreven have a wealth of information and resources to help parents and caregivers. We go twice a month to the resource gathering for potluck and daycare is provided those nights. I would be totally lost without their support. Dr. Ramsey is totally awesome is what the children say. They enjoy the time they have spent with him and he is spot on for identify their needs and the support they need. Sound Mental Health does custom fit the plan for each individual plan. Parent classes are provided which helps when the generation gap is more pronounced to help with different strategies on what works wells with each child. Kim at the front desk is delightful to work with on scheduling.

Dont go here unless its your last option. I stopped going in 2014 and its only gotten worse since. I did recently because this is the only place within 50 miles with a prescriber that accepts my insurance without a $55-$120 copay per visit. I did a walk-in, waited a week and a half to be assigned to someone. Then I had to wait a month and a week for our first visit. Now I have to wait three more weeks for the mandatory second visit to be allowed to schedule an appointment with a prescriber. Their proscribers have a 1-3 month waiting list. I was not informed about how bad of a patient backup they have. I give up. I dont have much to spare but at this rate Id rather scrape the copay money together. Screw this place.

I have been going to sound Mental Health for years. I have had the best experiences with two wonderful counselors that unfortunately left. I havent found another counselor that I can relate to. I also have the best Psychiatrist. I have been seeing her on and off for 13 years. If you need help please try Sound Mental Health.
