I write this 45 minutes into my wait. Service was okay on two previous visits with our two cats, this turned out a little different. The doctor is running late. I understand busy days and have patience within measure, but with several employees running around youd think someone other than the vet is qualified to check in my cat... vitals and such. It also warrants being said that I was the last appointment of the day. In fact I had to leave work early to get to my appointment on-time. The person at the front desk made a joke at my expense when "apologizing" for the wait, 30 minutes in. I appreciate all kinds of humor but it takes the sincerity out of the apology when you follow up with a joke about "not kicking me out at closing and locking the doors with me inside". Vet finally arrived, checked out my buddy and asked if she could take him for a urine sample. Yes, of course, finally, please go! She came back approximately 15 minutes later saying she couldnt get a sample from him and that she gave him two injections; an antibiotic and some long lasting pain meds. Im sorry, would it have taken too much of your precious time to come and check with me before injecting my cat?! Maybe she was too busy thinking about her evening plans and thought "Hey, whats another $50 to this guy. The cat seemed to be in pain when I was pushing on his bladder trying to extract urine so he must need some drugs." I would have said yes to the antibiotic, but my guy didnt appear to be in much if any pain and I would have wanted to take a second to consider the 72 hour Opioid hes now on. This might be standard procedure for a male cat with a UTI (which I researched on my own a day later, vet didnt educate me of that, just told me the drug side effects). I just wanted to get out of there at this point so I didnt pursue further. Poor guy has been high as a kite the past day. He seems to be enjoying it at least. So I checked out with Mr. personality at the front desk. "That will be $173." Wow, that seemed a bit high. When I asked for a breakdown of the costs his response was, "Its only 3 items". Well, I really dont care how many items are on there, how about you read them to me. I told him I had an unpleasant visit and he seemed taken aback that his joke had rubbed me the wrong way earlier. I just needed to tell someone how I felt and here I am finishing up this review on Google. Im not one to flame a business online with a negative review, but I havent been able to let go of my experience quite yet. Im hoping this helps. These other 1 star reviews about terrible experiences putting their pets down here is heartbreaking. It would seem to me like the owner needs to do some follow-up with their vets and customer service. For your business sake, I would recommend responding to these reviews that are in a very public forum...regardless of how old. Although your profession is dealing with animals, you may want to work on your people skills as the pets will have a hard time paying you. Thank you for reading. Edit: edited my review two days after initial visit.

Do not go to this facility, they will not be there for you when the worst day of your life happens and you need them more than ever. Because they likely will be booked and cant get you in. So then you get to find a facility that doesnt know your dog while your grieving because of what must be done, to do the final loving act that a human can do for their pets. Angry, dang right I am angry. I am appauled and now crying yet again. Because my dog who we had since birth because we had her mom too, was the love of my life and I failed her because of this place. My 17 year old Cleo suffering with Liver Failure and this Clinic did provide good meds for her to get her through her last months. The morning of Aug 12 2015 she stopped eating (she had been a really good eater eating 4 times per day at least) and we found some blood in her stool. Throughout the day we hoped she would bounce back but by 4pm this had turned to full blood. Knowing she would start really suffering soon we decided that because we loved her so very much we had to have her put down that day. Making the call was bad enough but then to be told that they cant get her in (yeah they said they were sorry) but they have openings tomorrow!!! I was mortified! I was angry! I was in disbelief! Never in my life would I have thought they would not "make room for her" or not "stay late" if needed to end a dogs suffering. They had seen her several times over her life and a couple surgeries as well so this was not justs a call out of the blue. They had been treating her and knew she had little time. I work part time for a Vet but he is in Marysville, and he would never turn away any animal in such need. I learned my lesson the hard way and I am compelled to help you not make the same mistake I did. I will never cross their front door again. They devistated me at my most volunerable time. And I really dont think I will ever get over it.

I love, love, LOVE this place. They were my vet a few years ago, and I moved, but when I moved back this year, I resumed taking my animals to them. Every time we visit, I have new praise for them. First of all, this is the friendliest staff of any vet Ive ever visited. Most staff at vets are nice but this is like Cheers nice, where everybody knows your name. They listen to every, single, last thing I say, whether it seems random or not, and I know it goes into the file. And then they read the file!!!! So the next time I go in, my one weirdo, semi-feral cat is greeted like the sweetest cat ever and they cater to her strange anxieties, and it feels like no time passed between the last conversation I had with the vet and the next visit. They treat my pets like their own. Today they werent too busy when I was in, so they took the time to socialize with my cat and love on her after her check up. It was great because she wasnt crazy scared at the end of the visit. I can call for a consultation, and they are very honest about what might really warrant a visit or what can be watched for a few days. (And the notes for that conversation go in the file!) Their prices are reasonable. I wouldnt dream of going any where else.

Absolutely the best experience we could have had during the extremely difficult time of putting our dog down. We have been taking our dog to this clinic for 12 1/2 years. They know our dog very well. When we got there, they put us in a room right away. Spencer had already brought a blanket into the room that he said was our dogs favorite from when we had her boarded while on vacation. He even told us cute stories about things our dog did while she was there. Another assistant brought in her favorite treat, peanut butter, so we could give it to her while we spent our last time together. Spenser and Dr. Vendramin kindly talked to us about euthanasia and supported our painful decision to finally have our dog put down for health reasons. They were so nice and kept telling us we were great owners for taking such good care of her, especially with all her medical problems. They said we could take as much time with our dog as we needed, before and after they gave her the drug. I really could not have asked for a better experience!
