5 stars for being 24 hours. Thats all I can say for the good part. Our 6 year old diabetic cat had thrown up and wouldnt eat, so I took her in at 6 am for an exam. Vet Amanda B. examined my cat, then informed me that she was dying. She said they could either hospitalize her (starting at $3000) or that I could just put her down. I told her I needed to call my husband first. While I was crying to him on the phone, I could hear her laughing in the back room with another employee. I asked a couple of times if she was absolutely sure thats what was going on, and she said yeah, but didnt sound 100% sure. On that note, we decided to take our cat to her regular vet when they opened instead, and THANK GOD because all they had to do was test blood sugar, rehydrate her and give us a new bottle of insulin. She got to come home and is alive and well, not dying! SO GLAD that we got a second opinion! My advice is to question anything that sounds a bit off - VCA has a great reputation otherwise and this was my only experience there. I was just so upset to think that we might have unnecessarily put down our cat that I had to share this so it hopefully doesnt happen to anyone else.

I would like to begin this by explaining - I do not usually fill out online recommendations - but VCA was so great to work with, I feel compelled to do so in this case. Our pup (Moka) was really sick (vomiting and bloody stool), dehydrated and needed a IV to re-hydrate. Please note; we had gone to our vet first - but they do not have after hours care. Our vet stabilized Moka, put in the IV catheter and recommended VCA for the after hours care. Our vet explained to us, that if this was her pup - then this is the after hours location she would take them too. We felt very comfortable going to VCA. Once we arrived, the emergency vet was ready for our pup - our vet had called them to alert them we were en route and faxed needed information. The emergency room veterinarian was very patient with us and answered all questions. They assisted us with everything. My husband stayed with Moka at the hospital to make sure she knew we were there for her. All staff was very helpful, patient and gave us great service. They are expensive, but it was worth it knowing our Moka was well taken care of. We both highly recommend VCA

I chose to go here because it was the only 24hr veterinarian office in my area. My cat had come home with a broken rear right hip. I went in (not knowing this) and the receptionists were rude and didnt treat me like a customer. The "vet" was rough and continued to call my cat "it" instead of by his name as I had already corrected. He pulled on his leg and because my cat wouldnt make any noise where it hurt, he kept doing it. He then said he needed to look at him in the back without me there. I obliged and he came back about half an hour later and told me it was going to be somewhere around 860.00 to have an xray done. I wanted to do this for my cat, but I didnt have 860.00 dollars to spend. So I took my cat home who now when he walked you could hear the crack in his hip. He was in a lot of pain all night and I had to take him in the morning to a normal clinic and the cost was only 70.00 to have an xray. Money hungry. Rude. Impolite, Impersonal. I would NOT recommend going here unless you are in DIRE need.

They charge but they dont perform testing on the sample!!! I found a live worm in my dogs poop and brought in a fecal sample for testing. When I called back for the results the next day (a call they were supposed to have made), I was told there were no signs any worm eggs, larvae or cysts. When I asked if the doctors had seen the LIVE parasites in the sample, the secretary expressed confusion and had to check with the doctor, as there were no notes on file. When I spoke with the doctor, she assured me that there were no signs of worm activity. It took my reminding her that there were actual worms crawing around for her to volunteer that they were most likely tapeworms. This test cost $71 dollars and was a complete waste of time and money, and then the want to charge $60 for a deworming pill I can get from Amazon for $10. After multiple disappointing experiences with this vet, I will be taking my animals to another provider from now on.

Ive been seeing Dr. Morrill there for about 6 months in treating my dog and shes been helpful and informative in this process. Ive also recently been helped by Jess, who I believe is just a tech there. She was extremely nice and patient with me while I explained my concerns. Recently went in for a full blood panel and screening and hadnt received a call back with results so Id called in instead. I got put through to Dr. Jones, as Dr. Morrill wasnt available that day. Dr. Jones was the RUDEST woman Ive ever dealt with there. She told me to "JUST HUSH UP" on the phone when we started talking about animal by-products. Thats when I told her the conversation was over. Sadly, I just signed up for the Care Club. Ill be sure to never schedule an appointment with Dr. Jones. If it wasnt for the satisfactory care Id already received here through Dr. Morrill I would never come back.

I take our cats and dogs here - the doctors are generally really nice and, as it seems with all vets these days, do suggest high priced things for your animals, but I find that if Im assertive about not spending money on all these "tests" that they will provide good care. Also they are open Saturdays which is a plus and they have a half price vaccination clinic on a weekday eve (I think its Wednesday) where you pay for the exam then all vaccinations are 50% off. I have been happy with the level of service. Only reason I wont give 5 stars is that, yes, they are about $5 more than other vets for their exam fees, but they are super convenient and close to our house so I dont bother driving much father considering the cost of gas and value of my time.

If I could give them zero stars I would. EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL. Kept trying to sell stuff. Even after I said no. When talking about a benign tumor that was previously checked out by them I was told that it could be cancer. This doctor had absolutely no compassion and I am appalled of their behavior and the lack of support by their manager! (The manager who literally laughed on the phone) I have never in my life gone in to get my dogs their vaccinations and left in tears! I will never come back and will never trust them with the health of my dogs! And corporate has already been contacted this fight is not over

I have been taking my dog to VCA for 5 years and every time I go there to get a prescription filled for my dog, there is a new vet. I have to RE-EXPLAIN my dogs condition every time. I spent over $3000.00 on tests and EVERY time I go in, they want me to pay for more tests. Finally after being told that I dont love my dog enough to spend more money on more tests, I had it with them. Understand that my dog has responded very well to the medicine they originally prescribed, but they insist I spend more money. Money, not love of animals motivates VCA of Lynnwood.
