They are horrible! Rude and want you to come back over and over to tell you the same thing they told you the 1st time. They dont care about your animals all they care about is how much money you will end up giving them in the end. I have never been to a vet like this one in my life.. If they diagnose your animal and prescribe a medication for the problem and the medication resolves the issue why wouldnt they refill the medication? Why? because they want your money to come back in.. When they told me that I had to bring back my animal before they would refill her medication. I asked them why? She didnt know what to tell me. She said because you have to if you want the medication refilled. I then said they already diagnosed her with the allergy. What are they going to tell me that they havent already? I told her I wanted to talk to the Dr or assist.. someone that can fill the prescription. She said she would have someone call me back. This was a Monday early afternoon 2 weeks ago today.. THEY STILL HAVE NOT CALLED ME BACK!!!! Oh and another thing they told me the 1st time I took her in.. They said that I needed to get her spay. I told them that she was already spay. The Dr told me that she wasnt spay because she didnt have the blue tattoo on her belly... Really??? I have 5 dogs and 4 cats and 3 rabbits and they all have been altered.. The only animal that has the blue mark on their belly is a 2 year dog. This place is so dishonest with you and the thrive by playing with your emotions. WE love our fur babies and that is the reason we take them to a vet in the 1st place.. There is also a young red headed Dr. that thinks she is the almighty and thinks she knows your animals behavior better than you do. She asks you questions and before you can answer the question she tells you what she thinks herself then will tell you that she is the Dr and you need to listen. All my life I have lived on a farm and have rescued animals of all different species. Anything that has a heart beat and fur. I do this out of love for these babies because they can not care for themselves. I have NEVER been treated so poorly.. It makes me think what the heck happens when we are not there with our babies. This place makes me SICK!!!!!

Firgrove Veterinary is the best veterinary clinic we have ever used. They have always put care, well ahead of anything else. We have had a relationship with this clinic for many years and they have surpassed every veterinary clinic in quality care, from start to finish. The cost of veterinary services, at any clinic, is never usually a favorable price point, nor is owning and caring for a pet - - it costs money, and these people put the care of the pet well before worring about money. When all said and done, the clinic is in business and does many good things for strays, assists in placement at about 75% less cost than the Humane Society, plus they do much more for the pets that they adopt out. Furthermore, when I read messages that say that Firgrove is deceptive about pricing, did tests that costed money, and people that seem to think they know more about veterinary care more than the educated people that have cared for our pets for years; I find it hard to believe. Firgrove may not be the least expensive veterinarian clinic, though I can vouch, they are definately not the highest priced, and the services that they do provide, I would leap to say, are much less than most clinics would charge for the same services, and overall; they offer way more quality and thorough services for less. You can surely know that they checked everything they could, and if they felt additional services were necessary; I would take there advice in a heartbeat. Also, there forms are very straight-forward, they give you the option of how you wish to proceed with services, and ultimately, they leave the choice in how your pet is handled, totally up to you, even if it is against their medical advice - without making you feel bad about your choice, or your financial situation. This is the only vet, I would ever sign on the line and indicate that they had full authority to perform ANY services and charge ANY amount that they felt was medically necessary. Firgrove has won our trust over the years, and they continue to do so!

My husband and I came her on September 8, 2016 with our female cat who was diagnosed with cancer on September 1, 2016 at a different Vet. The reason why we brought her here was to get a second opinion. Her back right leg and paw became really swollen, we took her to a different vet, where they took a biopsy. A few days after that she completely stopped eating drinking and using the litter box. She developed a very large scab where they took the biopsy, she even somehow developed open wounds that were infected and dripping puss. She even lost 4 pounds in 3 weeks. So coming to Firgrove they were able to see us. The vet and the vet techs were very nice and compassionate. Unfortunately the vet recommended that she be humanly euthanized. My husband and I already talked about that, but we wanted to fight for her and give her a fighting chance. But the vet felt around her abdomen and their was a good chance that the cancer has spread to her abdomen. He even said that he could see the spirit in her to fight, but her body was unable too. He did say we could try to help her feel better but it would of cost us more then we could afford and there was no way of telling if she would come out better or we would find her already passed away. When we did make the decision to put her down it was the hardest decision we have ever had to make. Especially for me, since she was my first cat ever. All the staff was very understanding and gave us all the time we needed and to spend as much time with her. We did decide to have her cremated and we will be able to bring her home when they call and say she is ready to come home. One of the vet techs stood next to her petted her and loved on her and we were telling stories about her. Very nice people who care about animals. After all was said and done my husband and I were hugged by most of the staff. What helped us a lot was the fact that they were able to work with us financially. I highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital. I will be bringing my other pets here.

Do not choose Firgrove! AWFUL service and DECEPTIVE about the prices of their services. I should have trusted my instincts and taken my cat elsewhere after the terrible first impression. Upon calling to schedule an appointment, I was told by the receptionist to walk in with my kitty to have her mouth examined before a cleaning. The receptionist who was running the front didn’t bother to acknowledge me for several minutes as she stared at the computer. Once I told her why I had come with no appointment, she rather boldly and rudely implied that I was lying about being told to walk-in. She eventually had a nice-enough woman look at my cat’s teeth in the lobby (not an examination room). I was given the estimate that her cleaning and extraction would cost $200-400. I brought her back for the actual appointment and the two women who were working the desk (one from the walk-in fiasco) were rude, condescending, and disrespectful. I filled out the forms which enumerated charges which were a part of the surgery (x-ray, blood work, etc.) and I was told I would receive a call in regards to my cat’s well-being in about an hour. Three hours later I was calling them trying to find out what was happening. I was told my cat’s surgery would be over $600! I fought with the receptionist and the nurse about the estimate until they told me two teeth were in bad shape but could avoid being extracted, keeping me under $400. The receptionists I was passed to over the phone over and over again were all rude and treated me like I was a monster for not having extra money laying around after I explained to them that my teeth were going unattended in favor of my cat. To top the whole mess off, I picked up my cat and was charged $546 for ONE extraction and cleaning (she only has half of her teeth)!!! The last vet I went to charged me $417 for 10+ extractions AND cleaning. I am so angry with the poor service and shady dealings, I intend to tell everyone I know to never set a foot in their office.
