Having worked in the medical community for over a decade, I can honestly say that Lacey Medical Center is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Your journey into horrible begins with a front desk staff that would rather text and type than present the notion that they are interested in why you have been standing in from of them for the past 20 minutes. You are then taken into what looks to be an additional unit on a double-wide (treatment room), where the assistant (and I use that description loosely) takes your vital signs. My particular experience placed in in front of an emotionless provider by the name of Cynthia Cameli, PA-C.... Her blunt approach was not my issues, but rather her cynical demeanor and condescending attitude. To add insult to injury, I am a Veteran who is currently in the process of transitioning from military care, and when my records did not meet her approval was told that medications that I have been on for years would not be filled. Overall, if what you are looking for is someone to judge you over a clipboard/computer, or possibly make you feel like you have done something wrong by seeking medical care at their facility... than this is the place for you... not to mention that they are a facility full of PAs and NPs whose lead provider is an "on call physician" sounds fishy to me.. but what do I know... good luck!

Went here for chronic pain in my right hand because the army kept trying to push me to fusion surgery when I dont want to permanently lose the ability to cup my hand. I felt maybe a civilian doctor could help more, she didnt even touh or look at my hand. It was like she didnt even care. Sure, she had my x-ray and all my info but I dont believe there is nothing you can do for me. I know there are medications to manage pain, Ive never even been given the option to TRY any so far. All the advances in medical science and you say there is NOTHING you can do? The army has me on arthritis and tylenol. Guess what? Im not inflamed and the arthritis medication is anti-inflammatory. Then I get a bill I call about twice and no call back. When the lady finally calls about it and I dont want to pay she speaks to me like Im a liar. Horrible customer service and care!

My son went here since he was a baby. They made special arrangements to open the clinic for us on xmas eve when he had a bad ear infection. Thier nurse practitioner diagnosed a rare complication my other son had with his hip joint. The specialist said they see it once ever five years maybe and was in awe our nurse practitioner could recognize it. They place has changed staffing resently but we still like it after 19 years. However if you are looking for a quick fix for medication this is not a place for you. They like to try other things first before giving medication.

Horrible!! there staff is RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL and doesnt return phone calls. Everybody who works there is unfriendly! Kayla the girl who answers the phone has no clue what good customer service is who ever is the office manager should be ashamed. They make you feel guilty for having them to do there job. The nurse Julie is amazing!!! Shes the only person that was nice. There is no welcoming feeling about this place! I would pass on this place! There is one doctor and one nurse that I encountered that were nice thats it! Old fashioned decor and old fashion rudeness!

I will be honest, in the past Ive not had good experiences with the Lacey Medical Clinic. However, these last few months Ive been really impressed with the services Ive received there. The recent small changes in staff have definitely been a change for the better and this office is serious about their patients health and concerns. Gotta give a shout out to Dr. Leighty and his staff. I can honestly say I have confidence in my healthcare providers once again and look forward to future visits. Keep up the good work guys!

I schedule an appointment with this clinic at 11:30 and was told to arrive 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork. After waiting until 12:00, I went to the reception desk to find out how much longer until my appointment I was told there were two other people ahead of me and that they were "a little" behind. Sorry, but an hour is not A LITTLE behind. They did not seem to care one bit. Will NEVER go here again.

Not a good experience at all! Receptionist was rude and didnt know how the difference between a well child check up and a sports physical. Not the same thing! Messed up on my billing too. I would not recommend! Oh, and made it a point to tell my husband how much he would pay if he didnt have insurance, what does that have to do with anything! No bad comments on Dr. They just need a new receptionist.

Hubby took sick daughter here today. Skeptical after looking at reviews, but we were desperate. Once he got past the aged facilities, he was pleasantly surprised. Ruth was on time and he said she was awesome, very professional and knowledgeable. We will come back here if our family needs medical stuff. P.S. He would give Ruth 5 stars. The facilities need some updating.

Pro- Rosalie was honest, straightforward, and a pleasure to see. The ladies behind the reception counter were polite and helpful. One even called my pharmacy to make sure that they had the medication I was perscribed. Lab tech was the best Ive ever had (Ive had many). Con- building could use some renovation

Very hit and miss and in need of some updating- online payments, for example, and a few attitude adjustments. I will be finding a new physician.
