Thanks for the compassion. I always believe you can tell a lot about a business about how you are dealt with when you have something that is out of the ordinary. I recently had a situation with my daughters Lhasa Apso. Unfortunately for the little guy his eye got damaged through a freak accident and my daughter was beside herself. From the moment we contacted Eastlake Veterinary Hospital, throughout the entire recovery process, we were treated with warmth, compassion for the feelings involved, and above all else professionalism. Dr. Anderson immediately calmed my daughters fears (which was paramount to me as a father) and allowed us all to be comfortable and confident with the treatment and recovery. I was very impressed that not only did we get our "Howie" back to his normal self, but how Dr. Anderson appreciates & dealt with the special relationship we all have with pets. Thank you Dr. Anderson and entire staff at Eastlake Vet for taking such good care of my daughter and her puppy.

I only wish my human doctors were as thorough and as caring as the Doctors and Staff at Eastlake Vet. Hospital. Not to mention how much my dog Beau loves Dr. Anderson. Whether its just a annual check up or more serious when Beau broke his foot. The care, attention and, knowledge that the staff provides is exceptional. Not to mention the treats after a shot or pat on the head and hug for a nail clip. In my 20 plus years of going to a Vet with a family pet, Ive never experienced my dog pushing his way to get inside the clinic. So despite, the shots, X-rays, Dental care and being lifted up on an exam table, both my dogs love seeing their Doctors and techs. That says it all to me. Eastlake Vet Hospital ranks as number 1 for me and my two Goldens. Plus my wife (who can be a bit critical) thinks its the best place for your pets care. Beau and Reese rate it 5 Paws!

First you are greeted by the limp, ashen faced, humorless lady at the desk. Then I was made to wait for about 2 hours because there was a mix up with my appointment that I had confirmed the same morning. Then I was treated like a criminal when they insisted on checking my dogs chip, as if he was stolen or something. And then I was treated as if I didnt take proper care of my dog even though I had just sat there for 2 hours waiting for him to be given help. I was rushed through as fast as they could get us in and out, and then charged a small fortune. I cannot say that they are not professional. Professional is exactly what they are. Personable they are not. My experience revealed that they are only out to make as much money as possible. I will never go back.

I was a little put off by the price of my Bengal kittens spay, but it ended up being absolutely worth it. During the surgery there were some very rare, major (or perhaps major to me) complications, and because they already go above and beyond (hence the price), they were fully prepared. Because the complications were so unusual, the clinic even paid to put my little girl up for the night at a 24-hour emergency animal clinic, which means they ended up operating on her at a loss. Id never have been able to afford having her monitored overnight. Im so glad I went with them, instead of a cheaper (or a free) clinic; my little girl means the world to me, and I easily could have lost her with anyone else.

I have been taking my cats and dogs to Eastlake Veterinary Hospital since the early 1990s and the quality of care is what keeps me loyal. I have had several occassions where a health problem was caught in the early stage of disease and treatment was easy and lifesaving / extending. While the prices are slightly higher than other places, I believe the cost of an incorrect diagnosis is so much more and Ive had several of these at other places when I try to save money in vet care. I also appreciate the time that they spend with me and my pets when I have a concern, both in clinic visit time and on the telephone. My pets and myself highly recommend them!

I have been a client at Eastlake Veterinary Clinic for almost 30 years. The care given my dogs by Carl and all the staff has been wonderful: caring, informative, hopeful and reliable. From the early puppy days to their last days, my dogs and I have been truly fortunate to have such great people in our lives. I guess this becomes apparent when I say I continue to come to Eastlake Vet even after I have moved out of the city. The commute is worth it knowing that my dogs will get such excellent care. It makes for happy dogs and happy dog owners. My husband and I (another Bob) and our dogs feel so fortunate to have them in our lives.

We love going to Eastlake Vet! Dr. Shearer and Dr. Anderson are incredible; they are both friendly, prepared, knowledgeable, and patient. You can immediately sense their genuine care for the animals theyre treating. You also cant beat the convenience of their location on Eastlake near SLU and the fact that they have a free parking lot. The first time I came to the clinic, I arrived 10-minutes early, and they already had prepared an exam room and were able to immediately see my puppy. They truly go above and beyond and I cant imagine going anywhere else.

Dr. Anderson and his team are beyond compassionate, knowledgable, and kind. Our pup accidentally broke his leg. Throughout our pups recovery - Dr. Anderson and his team were so kind and caring. Dr. Anderson called me multiple times to check in after our pups surgery and cut off our pups cast - even though our pups surgery was at a different animal surgery center. The level of professionalism and care that Dr. Anderson and his team have is fantastic and so very much recommendable!

I highly recommend Eastlake Vet. professional and compassionate with my kitty. Two rare times my kitty stopped eating for unknown reason, Tracy got me in same day with urgency. The exam was detailed with follow up calls to check in on the cat. Dr D’Orazio and Dr Shearer and the staff at Eastlake vet are great. I highly recommend Eastlake Vet.

My puppy loves his visits to the vet. He doesnt even mind the shots! The Eastlake Veterinary Hospital has been great for us, the vet techs and vets are kind, gentle, organized and knowledgeable. They dont hurry you out the door at the end of your visit, and they take a genuine interest in you and your pets well being.
