I would leave 0 stars if I could, and sadly, its not even Dr. Essers fault. I have been a patient since 2012. Initially, I liked Dr. Essers approach to medicine, and I found it worth the very long waits (limited hours, often in the waiting room 30-60 minutes past my appointment time) and difficulty communicating with the front office. However, after being told that my insurance would cover a procedure that it didnt, and SIX MONTHS of back and forth with the front office about contacting my insurance when it didnt pay, I received (today) a letter in the mail notifying me that I was about to be sent to collections for a bill that I was not expecting, and nobody had bothered to communicate to be about since March, when it shows that the office finally did get in contact with my insurance. I am also in healthcare, and I find this conduct to be horribly unprofessional and absolutely unacceptable. As a patient, I should be able to trust that my provider knows my insurance will cover a procedure when they say that it will. As a patient, I should not have to call in multiple times a week for three months to get someone to contact my insurance. As a patient, I should be able to trust that someone will call me when they say, "you dont need to call back, I will call you". If someone had bothered to tell me, IN MARCH, that I owed money, I would have paid it then. I am incredibly upset about this collections notice, and am unwilling to return. Dr. herself is nice enough, but I am done with this nightmare of a front office and billing department.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Esser. Test results took weeks to get back. Here I thought everything was fine since they dont call with a normal result and then 4 weeks later Im told I have something potentially serious! And that was not the end. There was mix up after goof up and she would forget she had told me one thing, then tell me another, and after awhile, I had had it. Ill find a new doctor.

My visits to Dr Essers office have been great. The front office staff are very helpful. Dr Esser is great at helping keep my costs down since I have major medical for insurance. She has helped me try different remedies for menopause and we have finally figured out a solution that works for me. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends.

LOVE DR. Esser! She is an amazing doctor and really takes the time to get to know her patients. She is very down to earth and I felt very comfortable with her! I went to Dr. Esser for a second opinion and felt she took the time to really explain what needed to be done. I would recommend Dr. Esser to anyone looking for a doctor.

It wasnt the front office that i have a problem with but the physician. Ive worked OB/GYN so i know all of the statistics and information from a clinical standpoint, but when youre a patient you need more than just the cut and dry. Ive seen the doctor once and would prefer never to go back. Cold, and distant for a female MD.

My experience was great Dr Esser took her time and listened to me .Unlike other physicians ,she took my opinion of my problem seriously and has sent me for a physical therapy consult.I finally feel like Ive found a physician who took my problem seriously. I also like the fact she has a holistic approach .

Takes time and is thorough in getting to the root of my special needs daughters problem. Kind and caring with my daughter and with me. I plan on seeing her soon myself. I am now a patient and am very pleased. We are working hard to get my health needs corrected. Everyone was is kind and friendly.

Front office staff is the worst Ive ever encountered. Rude unfriendly & unhelpful. Everything changes once you leave the waiting room. Dr. Esser & her staff are great. Ive heard the same complaints from several friends, several have not return after the treatment theyve encountered.

My visits to Dr Essers office are always very helpful. Any issues I have are solved in a professional and timely manner. I expecially appreciate the office staff and love the clinical staff. They are the best! I would highly recommend Dr. Esser (and staff) to anyone!
