Knowledgeable and efficient. My eyes had been going blurry at far distances, which worried me while driving and trying to see street signs from a few blocks away. I can still read them, but my vision isnt what it used to be. My exam was extremely fast and I tested at 20/40 vision. I got a pair of glasses with co-pay through insurance but brought a $10 pair of Hello Kitty frames hoping I could get lenses for them. Dr Ashbaker said the frames were ok for custom lenses and that it would take 3 days to get them back. I also opted to get the anti-glare tint, which come with a 2 year warrantee on the lenses. After doing some errands, I got a call that my Hello Kitty glasses were ready less than 2 hours later!!! I love my glasses!!! Its like going from a slight fog or mist to seeing in 4k. I am getting used to the fishbowl effect I get sometimes but I probably am just looking at things too closely with them on. I still need to wait a few weeks for the pair from my insurance, but the glasses I have and the anti-glare tint are awesome! Not sure if/when I need to get my eyes checked again but I was impressed by the efficient, friendly service I got here. Definitely recommend! PS. they accept Molina currently - April 2017 :)

It was a Saturday, and my eyes were so uncomfortable that I could hardly stand it; I knew they were probably infected from a bad allergic reaction. I called and left a message, and Dr. Ashbaker called me back from the top of a mountain!! He asked how I was doing, and what exactly, had gone on to cause my symptoms. He came all the way down off of the mountain to see me that day, and made a diagnosis that had me feeling relief after the 1st application of meds that hed prescribed. I am SO grateful for a Doctor who is professional, yet very caring. He definitely put a patients needs ahead of his own that day! Thank you Ashbaker Vision Clinic! Dr. Ashbaker, you are the best in town!

Had a small particle get into my eye that was causing a lot of irritation...Dr. Ashbaker was able to see me before regular office hours the next day got me in and out of there in time to get back to work. Thank you so much! It was reassuring to know there was a professional like him to take care of me so quickly so I could get back to work which we all know affects everything in your life. The ability to have healthy eyes never seems as valuable as when you leave his office! Thanks again Dr. Ashbaker-highly recommended!

Staff members were pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. Doctor was very thorough and passionate about the business and making sure that I understood my options and the impacts that different options would have on my eyes and day-to-day activities. He asked questions about job and hobbies in order to know the best direction to head for my lifestyle. I would highly recommend this office!

my kid is special needs and gets panic attacks just being at dr offices. he was able to soothe her and inform her about what was going on, distracting her all the while doing his job. they were very kind. and prompt. even let us stay a little after they were supposed to close because she was still choosing. i recommend this place to everyone i meet.
