This is a lengthy review, but if you want to be harassed, by all means, seek treatment here. On the treatment side of it, things were great. Kevin was fantastic and when he wasnt around, Megan and the other guy (I forgot his name) were awesome as well. So why the one star? I would give 0 if it was allowed. First things first, I wasnt completely better, and right around the time I stopped going, 1) I had a death in the family, and 2) I got very sick. So for an entire month, I wasnt able to seek treatment because life happens. So when I was ready to go back, I called to make an appointment, and they told me that my "referral" is up. Apparently I had 30 days from my last visit to go back, otherwise the referral expires and you need a new one. I thought that was frustrating, but whatever, thats not what turned me away. What turned me away was when it came time to do the billing. First they sent me a bill (little back story, I was rear ended and it caused some injury). I called them and told them to bill the other parties insurance, as my personal insurance should not be involved at all. So I called the billing department, for Tasha, and left a voicemail. She didnt return my phone call. Which was very frustrating, but people get busy, no big. Until I kept calling her, and never got a call back. When she finally did call me back, we started playing phone tag. I left her several messages telling her when the best time to reach me was, and she would call me when I was at work (and I was a receptionist at the time, so its not like I could have gone out to answer it). She was telling me that they dont bill 3rd party insurances (but they will bill workers comp and my personal insurance). And then she went back to not returning my phone calls at all. About a week of trying to get in touch with her, and I get a nice, bright yellow collections warning notice. And on there it said "YOURE LACK OF COMMUNICATION CONCERNS US." What?? I tried several times to communicate!! Now Im pretty patient, but at this point I was beyond furious. I called both numbers on the form, and left a message for Kim, as well as the customer service department. In fact, I left two for each on the same day. By lunch time the next day, still no call back. So I called again, and left voicemails again. No return phone call (go figure). So I called the office that I visited on 162nd, and spoke to Lisa. She was pretty helpful at that point and said that they would hold my account for 4 WEEKS. that was on June 28th, three weeks ago. I called Lisa on Wednesday July 20th, to tell her kind of where things were at with the settling claim, and to let her know that this hasnt been forgotten, and of course I had to leave a message with the receptionist. Today is Friday, July 22nd, and still have not heard from Lisa. I did, however, get a call back today from Kim (a month and a half later), and she claims that she spoke to my adjuster (but couldnt give me the name of my adjuster, which I thought was convenient), and that if I dont pay anything today, my account will go into collections, and that it has been 4 weeks since I spoke with Lisa, which it has not. I also spoke to my adjuster, and she told me that she needed permission to speak with proactive about my file. They will not be seeing me at all in the future, and I do not recommend this to anyone.

I was referred to the East Vancouver office by a friend who had a great experience with Ryan and I was thrilled with my experience too! Words cant express just much I appreciate this team. From Danis and Jamies caring greeting when I arrive, to the warm up assistants Tony and Ryan-2. Not only did they get my shoulders back in good working order, but I also learned a lot about how to help my body heal and get stronger. I especially appreciate the treatments from Ryan, Cliff and Kevin who are not only very skilled, but also oh-SO patient and KIND to me while I worked through this painful time. From the bottom of my heart.. thank you thank you! If you need P.T. I think you will be very pleased with your experience at the East Vancouver office. :) ♥ PS they are great listeners too!

The therapists at Proactive are all awesome! I came with a weakness in my left leg due to the effects of brain surgery and had been dismissed from the Neuro PT, but didnt want to believe that there was no more progress to be made. Kevin assessed my situation, and devised a program that not only strengthened the muscles in that leg but also greatly enhanced the flexibility in the affected muscles. He tried several different things to build on our progress, and nearly everything had a positive affect. Im very happy with my experience at Proactive Physical Therapy, and would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you, Kevin! ... And Ryan and Cliff and Tony and everybody! You are all wonderful, and I truly appreciate everything youve done to help with my recovery!
