As someone who experienced a traumatic birth that ended in an emergency c-section with my first child, having the opportunity to successfully have a VBAC (Vaginal birth After Cesarean) with the Ashland Birth Center was healing and wonderful. Savita Jones is a second-generation midwife with thorough training, years of experience, and active engagement with the local clinic and hospital community. Dana Churness, her co-midwife, has also worked in the local community for years as a doula before beginning her certification process for her midwife license. I do not think I could have had a VBAC if I hadnt had the team from the Ashland Birth Center. Like another reviewer said, I looked forward to every appointment. Not only did Savita and Dana see to my and the babys physical well-being during pregnancy, they also addressed anxieties I had as we moved closer to (successfully!) attempting a VBAC. I could not recommend the Ashland Birth Center highly enough.

The wonderful staff at The Ashland Birth Center deliver the best care you can get. I am so happy that my husband and I chose ABC for the arrival of our first little one. I looked forward to and enjoyed every appointment, and I felt that same comforting positivity when it was time to go deliver my son at the birth center.

There’s so much to be happy about here! Throughout my birth center experience, I felt confidence and peace. I appreciate that the midwives are skilled, attentive, thorough, professional, and understanding women who are also mothers. They demonstrate genuine love for my whole family. Superb!
