Therapists are ok. BUT if you have diabetes or food allergies BEWARE. Dr. Wong appears to be a nice person but is clueless when it comes to insulin dosing. Said would work with us and then refused to contact our endocrinologist. Refused to use Humalog insulin properly with meals. Improperly overused Lantus insulin trying to make up for it, risking lows overnight. Lost 13 pounds trying to keep carbs low to compensate. Sugar average was over 250 most of the time; sent spouse home with sugar of 400!! With endocrinologist, we had it back to 145 within 12 hours. SIX times in 10 days, items that my spouse was SERIOUSLY allergic were on his dinner tray ( have photos to prove it) to spite repeated calls to dietary staff and administration. Eating them could have easily caused stroke, heart attack or worse. They do NOT understand celiac disease or how to know for sure foods do not have gluten. My spouse can not always tell what is safe and what is not. God only knows what would have happened if I hadnt been there for almost all day, every day, to keep an eye on things. Nurse Melvin took phone off hook when he knew I was trying to call to get info for more than 30 minutes. How do I know? He refused to give a visiting friend info.I needed. I made repeated calls only to get a busy signal. I finally asked my friend to see what was going on and they caught him lounging at the nurses station with the phone off the hook after telling him I was going to call!! Glad it wasnt a true emergency! Health care should NOT be this way!

The staff from the front door to the rear of the does an amazing job.The therapy department outstanding. The Nurses and CNA who worked with room 106 the best Housekeeping on top of there game. The food good Now the employee cafeteria food is the best. Prices just right. Overall no smoke and mirrors it is an older building and yes we would like new But here they know how to treat and make you welcome Keep up the good work .
