Multiple horrible experiences at Riverside Pediatrics , which claims they put patients first- this is truly not the case. I used to bring my son here when he was newborn for his first 3 visits but i felt immediately that something wasnt right when I would always be kept waiting even with an appointment and Dr Omar Baker would always rush in and out. One time Dr Baker asked me to wait for "paperwork" about the vaccinations my son was getting midway through seeing my son, but nobody showed up for 45 minutes while I sat there with my newborn and Dr Baker never came back with any info. Then I got billed for services I never even received and diagnosis codes like "jaundice" for my son who had no jaundice at all (and the doctor even confirmed that). Was so infuriated that we left the practice. Now that my son is 1 and needs routine blood work , I figured Id call for the phlebotomist here because of their expertise collecting samples from babies. Big mistake. I arrived after leaving work early and rushing to make it by 5 and was then turned away because my doctor isnt a Riverside physician!! What a load of BS! All samples collected are sent to labcorp with the requisition with my doctors name on it so it doesnt matter where the blood work is collected or which physician ordered it. I know because I work in regulatory affairs for a pharmaceutical company, have a PharmD degree and worked at a doctors office for many years. Not to mention I have insurance that this practice accepts, so they could have even billed my insurance for it for all I care! Needless to say, do NOT come to this place. They only care about making money for themselves, not healthcare.

Let me start by saying that until now, Ive never taken the time to write up a review for any business or doctor. Ive been attending this office for a year and after my visit today, Ive had enough. Every time I go in for an appointment, I wait for at least an hour to be seen. Not once have I ever been seen on time or even close to my appointment. On top of that, theres no apology for the wait. When I am seen, the visit lasts all of 3 minutes. Today, not only did I wait an hour, I was told I couldnt be seen at all. The office is incompetent, unorganized and unpleasant. I will absolutely be finding a new office to go to. Dont waste your time or your health on this waste of a healthcare facility.

We had a 415 appointment. Came in 20 minutes early still had to wait for 50 minutes after 415 even though others after me got a room. When I expressed my displeasure the front office staff was actually laughing. This in addition to my earlier experience when they cancelled my appointment because I was 10 minutes late. Not happy with the staff, although no issue with the doctors.

Dr. Baker is an amazing doctor my kids love him and he is to the point and always answers my questions. Iam so glad i found him as my childrens pediatrician. I would definitely recommend him to everyone
