Worst telephone customer service experience EVET. I was looking for an patient hospitalized there and was treated rude. It wasnt the fact that they couldnt help me, they yelled bc they couldnt understand me and were rude for no reason. They need customer service training. I am a provider myself and would never treat a patient or patientsfamily in such manner.

Took 1/2 hour to make a sick appointment. Had to speak with 3 people. Scheduler asked if I wanted to wait a week to be seen. I said of course not. I am sick. The nurse and scheduler need to stop asking people stupid questions and just schedule the appointment. Never encountered people so dumb.

Lyons campus is incredible!! The Hospital is very clean, laid out for optimum efficiency, and a warm,welcoming enviroment. The entire staff is friendly and sensitive to my medical needs. I spent many years in Miami, FL. and it is a good hospital, but Lyons is outstanding! Very glad to be here.

Utilizing the healthcare services/facilities of the Lyons VA campus, I have found the services to be on par with the best private/HMO facilities. The VA has grasped the concept of medical teaming and is extremely proactive in anticipating/addressing the patients issues.
