I went there because it was Sunday morning the day after a blizzard. The night before I had a 101.8 fever and passed out. I saw Dr Visconti, I explained that I had a tightness in my chest for a week and a fever since the Friday before. He took a half second listen to my lungs ands said they were clear. I probably had a sinus infection, which I promptly told him I did not, because I am prone to them and I am well aware of their symptoms, of which I had none. He did give me an antibiotic, which I was in need of for my chest. So for that I am pleased. But I was still feverish and sick on Wednesday when I called my own doctor. Turns out I have pneumonia and this was after I finished the 3 days of antibiotics he gave me. He was a bad excuse for a doctor. He didnt listen to my symtoms or my previous history, he just didnt care. If hes working the day you need to go there, go someplace else!

Very poor service!!!!!!! After calling and speaking with the receptionist to schedule a same day appointment I verified twice that they accepted my insurance. Twice i was assured they did and even given a bit of an attitude for asking again. When I arrived for the appointment I was then told that they dont accept my insurance and they didnt know why I was told that over the phone. They wasted my time and at the end of the day I still havent seen a doctor. If they cant get an easy thing correct like knowing what insurance they accept it makes me wonder what else they would get wrong. I would recommend using a different office that is more professional.

I have been seeing Dr. Visconti for many years and am honored to have him as my primary physician. Dr. Howe is also to be applauded for her services. I have always been treated with respect and because I make an appointment, I never wait very long to see a doctor. The staff is very courteous and is always there to make sure claims are handled efficiently. A special thank you to Bruce for putting a smile on my face, even when I am in pain. The Riverdale office of the Valley Medical Group takes care of my entire family and I am thankful for all that they have done for our well-being.

I am giving them 4 stars, less 1 star because of customer service at front office/reception. It is not the doctors I have an unpleasant experience, it is the rude reception that answers the phone and greeting you get first thing when you arrive. Certainly 5 stars is well deserving of the medical practitioners (doctors and nurses/nursing assistants) -- big props to Dr Howe (she is amazing and have great personality!!! A+++). I will go there again because of the doctors not the reception (they can be replaced)

Impossible to get a refill called in to pharmacy from this office! Extremely unprofessional when you ask them to call in to your pharmacy & then they give you attitude like they are mad at you. It should not take 4 days to call in a refill!!! Very disappointing because some of the people I have met in this office have been lovely people. Maybe its one bad apple, but thats all you need to ruin your reputation.

My husband and I had excellent travel consultations with Dr. Howe in Riverdale. So much so she has been my primary doctor for a few years now. Love her philosophy, style and care provided. If you are a regular patient, you can get appointments without a problem and have minimal waits most of the time. Nurse practitioner very good also.

We have been using Valley Hospital Medical Group as our primary care physician(s) for many years now. I dont even remember the emergency that first brought us to VHMG but I am glad we found them. We always see the same 2 Drs. And their staff is always polite and respectful.

The doctors are great here but the lady at the front desk acts like you are bothering her for coming in. If you dont like your job go work elsewhere. People dont want to be sick but dealing with you makes me rather go home and die in bed.

0 stars! Unpleasant experience, my husband, i, and my kids were sick, and neededication urgent care, they wouldnt even take us if we payed out of pocket. Woman at front desk was rude and uncaring. Dont go here!!

always waiting over 2 hours. then made an appointment GUESS WHAT I waited as long as ever only to find out the doctor I had the appointment for was not in. DAH. finding someplace else..
