Was trying to confirm an appointment, as i couldnt recollect our appointment time. Made countless calls, left various messages and only to get a reply back that i was irresponsible in not getting back? Who tells this to a paying customer that is trying to get their dog in for an appointment to just have the dog checked our for a procedure? If this was done professionally, there would be an email confirmation/reminder, the DVM would not have her main phone of contact be "UNKNOWN CALLER ID". Definitely, doesnt go by the business edicate: "Customer is always right" Based on her tone of voice. And so i am glad to take my business elsewhere. It appears the docs time is so valuable that a reminder/rescheduling option is not even made available. I am glad the business is doing well, just ecstatically surprised

Aside from the fact that Doc Harris makes house calls, which is amazing in 2016 in itself, she takes the time to do her job in a caring way. My dog was unable to walk and had to be put down back in 2012 and Doc Harris came to my house to do the deed. He was a large dog that was NOT ready to go! It took 3 shots to get him down and Doc Harris was beyond kind and understanding while treating him. Once he passed, I asked if she could wait a few minutes for my daughter to come home from school to say her final good byes and Doc Harris was very understanding about that. She is extremely compassionate. I recommend her to anyone who needs a good vet.

4 years ago i moved from Commack to Florida. I never realized how valuable a vet is until i moved. I used Lori on all my cats , Luna, Shelby and my dads cat Louie. Now living in Florida i rescued 2 more kittens and a pup. I lost Luna last month at 17 and have been scrambling around to find that perfect person. Lori was just that !! Weve used Dr. Harris for many years. Not only is Dr. Harris competent and professional, she is the most compassionate veterinarian weve ever seen. Whether bringing our pets in for regular shots or emergency visits if they were sick, injured or needed evaluation for end of life, Dr. Harris was always there for us. We wouldnt trust anyone else with the care of our family pets.
