I was injured at work by a former employee while he was operating a forklift irresponsibly. I live in Falconer NY so of course I went to the emergency room at WCA hospital. The doctor I had seen sent me to the orthopedics in the same building. I had went to several appointments. My forearm was crushed, my wrist had a huge blood clot and my hand was unable to be used and currently is still damaged 90%. Take into consideration that the Doctors in the OP DID NOT give me an MRI as they are required to do so. I was discharged and released back to work without ANY treatment. "You can go back to work using 1 arm" How? Where? What jobs hire someone who has 1 arm functional? I am living on my own with a friend and can not pay my bills without working. I am 20 years old and have been working at factories just to make my bills. Now I am denied help and/or treatment. The staff here are impatient, unreliable and can not perform the job they were assigned to do so. I recommend go elsewhere or sign up for disability. These Doctors are also self-centered. I was in WCA for a psychiatric emergency. The ER was fine. My distaste for this particular hospital started after I was actually transferred to the adult psychiatric unit. After informing them that I was being abused at home, the psychiatrist decided to verify this by attempting to contact my abusive family and ask them if they were actually abusing me (Strike 1). In the meantime, he took me off of my medications, which included antibiotics that I needed (Strike 2). They made little effort to actually help me and justified it by saying they were an acute care facility, not somewhere to go for treatment for my bulimia (Strike 3). After being discharged I realized all of the medication that had been in my luggage was gone - the nurses had kept it under the assumption that I would not want it (need I mention it was hundreds, of not thousands, of dollars worth of prescription drugs, since they had been prescribed my my GP and not their own psychiatrist. I now have to drive over three hours back to Jamestown to get them again (Strike 4). In other words, the staff was completely incompetent.

This is the second time my girlfriend had the unfortunate luck of going to this awful hospital. The first time she was told so many things it was ridiculous. They guess constantly and do as little as possible as rudely as possible. Everyone we came in contact there should be ashamed of themselves professionally and morally!!!! Today she was taken by ambulance for severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and cramps. She was given an IV and doped up with pain meds. They did a urine test and blood test then told her it was just the flu and not to drink fluids if it upset her stomach. Really????? No test for appendix, gallstones, nothing! We will be taking her to another hospital tonight an extra hour away and will never use this joke of an establishment again. Hippocratic oath anyone? I am so disgusted and upset over the amount of pain she was in and to be treated so poorly at such a time on more than one occasion. I pray that if I am ever in a life threatening situation that it is nowhere near Jamestown!

The reviews for this hospital are by far the funniest thing I have ever read in my life. One lady writing about catching a thief outside the facility (I think? Read "Bebas" review...if you want to read something absolutely word salad...probably has nothing to do with this WCA). I just Googled WCA Hospital Chautauqua because theyre putting an addition on and I needed some information. I also particularly enjoy reading reviews where people blame the hospital and doctors on staff for not being able to collect disability. As if ER doctors have any say in anything. Theyre contracted doctors, working under some sort of insurance and cannot authorize a lifetime of disability because someone got hurt and work and went to the ER one time. Why would anyone blame the ER doctor? Its a hospital in Jamestown, so what the hell do you expect when you go in? One hospital for many miles. Oiy!!!

I am currently waiting to be discharged from the ER. I came around 7:00, and its almost 11:30 PM. It took 2.5 hours to get a room. I came because Im 12 weeks pregnant and I have severe abdominal cramping. I requested an ultrasound, as Ive previously miscarried and Ive had a few scares this pregnancy. The Doctor refused to request one, because I recently had one at 10 weeks. I did say anything can happen within one day, let alone a couple weeks, but he still refused to give one. Out of a 4.5 hour wait, I only did a urine sample and had a pelvic exam. I am very disappointed, and will not be returning to this hospital for any reason. This was my first and last time coming. They get paid to do their jobs, and my insurance is paying for me being here, just laying in a hospital bed, for them to do nothing. Very, very disappointed.

Terrible time management even when no one is there was refused treatment told to go to Westfield at 3 AM I was having extreme heart palpitations and was driving myself how ridiculous!!!! I have also Head close friends of mine with children that have waited numerous hours sometimes six or seven hours to be seen this is just on call for having a child waiting that long to be treated for such a small city and having other emergency room treatments in this area and most of all updating the ER should have better time management in consideration for its patients not everybody are scumbags looking for pain medication!!!!!! Us Middle class people work harder for minimum wage or just over and you have these doctors making hundreds of thousands of dollars and dont lift a finger talk about Messed up priorities

Here right now with my 3 year old. Been here for about 5 hours in the E.R. Rn came and saw him, left. Almost 2 hours later the doctor came in and checked him. Said he had an ear infection, thats not even the reason why I brought him in. He has asthma, has had it his entire life. Doctor said he would prescribe antibiotics for ear infection, left. Almost an hour waiting still. Not a soul has came back into this room. Total incompetence. Worst Hospital visit ever! Everyone needs to get fired and hire new personnel that know their job, that know exactly what they are doing. This isnt helping people, they are all here just for the $! Wish I could give them all a review particularly.

Please contact me 716- 338-7199, right across from your warehouse, were I hear every truck, electronics mechanical at all times but Sunday . I witness a thief outside your facility, I have video and pictures of a thief on Sunday morning, I been trying to get to show youd , that way ya can put more security behind your facility and catch the thief, I hate a dishonest thief, I believe in working hard, and when hard time flows, hostler hard for your money or ask for help before stealing, I rather give my last when ask then for a thief stealing, smdh. I been trying to get this know to yours as our neighborhood cant be trusted no more
