I absolutely love this practice! My son has Down Syndrome and we had terrible experiences trying to find a pediatric dentist that would treat him as a child...not a diagnosis and/or do the work he needed done outside of a hospital. He is totally healthy so far (knocking on wood) and his only issue was milk rot from falling asleep nursing. He never had a bottle, but I didnt know children could get milk rot from human milk). The only dentist I could find, before we found PDK, made us wait 6 months until he was 3 to work on him because he said, "hes too small," despite the fact that I informed him that his carries were progressing quickly and that children with DS tend to be smaller. Unfortunately, our poor boy ended up developing a wopping abcess 2 days before his 3rd birthday! He was hospitalized for 2 days while they calmed the infection down enough to pull the tooth. Without a care, or any consideration for the long-term effects of their actions, the students down at Westchester medical yanked out almost all of his upper teeth!!! Why? We asked...Because they looked like they were slightly effected and could be potentially problematic in the future. So, while the had him under they decided to pull them out in hopes of saving him from a POSSIBLE problem. Ugh!!! This makes me so angry because I come to find out the majority of them could have been fixed!!! Yeah I know they will grow back...eventually...But there was no need to change how and what he can eat for the majority of his youth! They dont care that his oral motor function and speech is effected by their inconsiderate, hasty decision. And, without asking US...his parents... before doing it!!! Like they were doing him, and us, some big favor. I truly hope other people find this place before going to those butchers. Which is the primary reason I am sharing our story. This place gave us hope for our sons future dental health! Hes not easy to work on, but they were calm and understanding! Their professionalism and expertise was on point. I am beyond happy with the work they did and will continue to go back to them for his dental needs. I would highly recommend them for anyone who has a child with different needs. They are truly a blessing to our community!

Really rude receptionist. I called not realizing it was a pediatric dentist (It was one of the numbers listed for my insurance) and after she informed me I laughed nervously because I was embarrassed and she GROWLED at me. It sounds ridiculous but it was actually frightening. Get a sense of humour! I should also mention that I am intellectually disabled...

My child has been seeing the dentist at this office for 3 years. The entire staff has been nothing but amazing to my daughter. Never once have I had a bad experience. They really know how to talk to children. I highly recommend this office!

Pediatric Dentistry of Kingston is amazing. My son had an absolutely painless filling done today. He didnt even flinch with the novicaine injection. That is serious skill. Highly recommend them.
