Ive gone to Dr. Campbell for at least 12-15 years, and shes always very good. Some of the technicians, one in particular, could use more training. The same technician took my dog into the room for his annual exam today, and also last year. Last year, she cut his toe nails, and obviously didnt know what she was doing, as he bled all over the exam room, and still was when we returned home. Therefore, shell never touch my dogs nails again. I groaned to myself when I saw shed be taking us back today. She weighed my dog, who I know is overweight, the scale was moving all over the place, which I told her and she ignored, then was VERY rude to me in the exam room, basically belittling me and my dog, saying "Hes 25 lbs overweight" (which, no, he isnt). If she wasnt pushing down on him, the scale would have been more accurate. My future visits, I will reschedule or ask for a different technician. She was very unprofessional, and very rude, and clearly not able to do the job. If you go here, Dr. Campbell is wonderful, but steer clear of the technician with the kind of long, curly blonde hair.

First visit was a pleasant surprise. Doctor and staff had calming demeanors and were informative and respectful. Visit #2? Like we were at a different place. Vet exam began with nurse putting puppy in a bear hug. He panicked and began wining and grinding his teeth. Vet commented that our weim needed to get used to people restraining him. Um...I dont want my dog to be chill when strangers try to restrain him when he is being perfectly compliant. During our first visit, our puppy was docile and cooperative. This time? Their silly aggressive treatment had the same dog in a panic. We tried to reassure him and we were arrogantly informed that we were encouraging bad behavior. No hyperbole...we were gobsmacked. Only rating a two because the other staff we worked with were wonderful. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Fees are very reasonable...if youre cool with your little friend being terrified of visiting the vet. Feel super guilty that we didnt intervene. Were not nutty dog people...our experience was bizarre.

All of my dogs have been attended by Dr. Doris Campbell for the past seventeen years, way back when she was on staff at Georgetown Animal Hospital. She and her partner Dr. Jennifer Stapnik have always worked with my family and my pets to deliver the most comprehensive yet reasonably-priced care for the four dogs I have had during that time. Most recently, these two assets to the veterinary profession worked tirelessly in treating my late dog for epitheliotropic lymphoma with the most up to date chemotherapy protocols. Even though the outcome was unfortunate (as cancer treatment can be) my dog was treated expertly and compassionately through the course of this horrible disease, and both of these doctors supported me with expert advice and emotional support all through it. The office and veterinary technicians are efficient, knowledgeable, and caring. I look forward to continuing to work with this excellent facility.

The staff at Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic is absolutely wonderful! We have been going there for just over a year and every time we are there they are great. We just took our brand new puppy there this week for a life and death emergency and they were so caring and concerned. They called us numerous times to check in after our visit and were very helpful every time we called with a concern no matter how busy they were. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Dr McCausland is phenomenal. Dr Campbell is great as well but our pets primarily see him. Great staff from the receptionists to vet tech to the doctors!!

Very pricey, nurses like to push medicine on to you before any solid tests results have been completed. I am wondering if they get an incentive for this or that the vet makes them be agressive sellers. Either way it is annoying and unethical to make people feel like their animal is going to die if it doesnt take some kind of medicine that youre pushing this month!

The staff was super friendly. The vet tech was thorough and was easygoing and sweet with my dogs. Vet was also thorough, calm, explained his recommendations well and answered my questions. Relieved to have finally found a reliable, professional, intelligent vet clinic to take my pups to. I feel very confident with their services.
