I initially had given them a 1star review last year and regret doing so. It isnt easy to admit when you are wrong and sometimes out of anger and pain we say things we dont really mean to. The reasoning of the 1star is irrelevant so I will just skip to the 5star statement. Our beloved 12 yr old Golden Retriever had an enlarged heart with fluid building up due to hemangiosarcoma which is a fatal cancer that is prevalent in Goldens and German Shepherds. In fact Her sister Autumn died last year from it. Its horrible because it is a very aggressive cancer with a grim prognosis most times. I had come home from work and Asia had greeted me as usual. Short time later, I noticed she was acting peculiar and something just wasnt right. When my fiance came home from work we rushed her to Wooded Acres. They quickly diagnosed her with what I mentioned above. As we were about to leave and head over to Selden animal hospital to get an ultrasound of her heart, she became extremely lethargic. Within 2 minutes we had her back inside. Mind you, they were now closed and getting ready to leave. Unfortunately, Asia had to be euthanized as she slipped into a coma. Completely distraught at this point, we were preparing to transport her body home and bring her to Regency Forest to be cremated the next day. My fiance was inside getting ready to pay for the euthanization when we were told this was on them. They understood our pain and were very empathetic with us. Being that this was after hours and the compassion they had, I am humbling myself to give them the 5 star rating that is very much deserved. Thank you Wooded Acres for the services and care you have provided us.

I called to make an appointment for my cats annual vaccinations and checkup, and they were able to see me in just three days. I brought my cat in this morning. She was examined by Dr. Iannaccone, who is apparently the only vet on staff as of right now, but she is very good. The doctor and her two assistants saw my little cutie right on schedule. All three were very professional, and they did their best to make the visit as pleasant for my cat as they could. Dr. Iannaccone checked my cats weight, examined her ears to check for a possible infection, and also combed her fur to determine if she had any fleas. The doctor also gave my cat three vaccinations, two of which are good for three years! (If she was only interested in money, she would have given shots that are only good for one year.) Dr. Iannaccone was very knowledgeable in answering all the questions I had. As long as she remains at Wooded Acres Animal Hospital, I will definitely bring both of my pets here regularly. Incidentally, If you have trouble remembering Dr. Is name, just think of "Eye and a cone".

As always, Dr. Iannaccone and the entire staff are wonderful! The reception staff and the assistants are always friendly, kind, courteous, and helpful. Its so great to be able to bring your pet to a place where everyone is so caring and compassionate. It is truly evident that everyone at Wooded Acres Animal Hospital love what they do and are committed to caring for your pet! Im so glad I bring my pets to Dr. Iannaccone. Shes the best, especially when she greets my cats with, "Hi Handsome". She is very tender and handles my pets with kid gloves. And its very convenient to be able to make an appointment on-line now. Thank you all so much! Kayann Donaldson

Ive been going to Dr. I with my pups since my first was born six years ago. He is kind of a celebrity there at this point because unfortunately hes the product of over breeding/back yard breeding and has had a very very long list of health issues, including severe allergies to over 16 environmental and edible items. DR. Is office always gets us in right away as he often has random flare ups, the whole staff is amazing, they greet him with lIve everytime, they even try to keep "rex friendly" treats on hand for when we are there :) I wouldnt trust anyone else with my babies.

Oh my gosh. This is the best, most amazing vet I have ever encountered in my life. The staff is so caring and friendly. Dr. I is amazing at what she does. She always asks about my other cats when I bring one in. I had a couple emergencies and they just fit me right in. I love each and every one of the people that work there. If I moved 45 mins away, I would still drive to them to see them. Anyone with a pet needs to have them as a vet. THANK YOU!!! Each and everyone of you are amazing. See you soon.

I have a 5 year old female Dachshund. About 2 months ago she became paralyzed in her back legs. I called Dr. I, and her staff was great. They got Pebbles right in! Dr. I is so compassionate with what she does. She recommended acupuncture, and Pebbles is now walking! I will be FOREVER grateful to her for how she helped Pebbles! I would highly recommend her to everyone! I cant express how much her help has meant to myself and my family. She has a forever customer!!

My dog loves the doctors and assistants at Wooded Acres. You can tell how much they care from the moment you get out of your car; you step out into a well maintained wooded setting, are greeted warmly by the staff, and after waiting a very short time, are brought into a tidy exam room. The exam table even has a cozy mat instead of just a cold exam table. Dr. Iannaccone came highly recommended to us by several friends. We are so glad to be her patient.

Bella has been going to Wooded Acres since 2012. Both doctors Dr. Iannaccone and Dr. Garrison are wonderful caring doctors. They are very knowledgeable and thorough and treat my Bella so gently and loving. Their staff are also caring and very accommodating. Bella has to be a crazy little Cairn Terrier who loves to go to the vet! I have never been dissatisfied on a visit to their hospital. I would be very happy to recommend them to any pet owner.
