**DO NOT BE SEEN BY THE PA ALETHEA CUNNINGHAM** The only good thing about my visit was that I didnt wait long. I decided to go to this place because I had swelling in my mouth which I thought could be an infection from my tongue ring rubbing up against my bottom gums (I took it out because of this). Ive had the tongue ring for appx 6 years, this sort of thing has happened before, but its far and few in between and never was serious. I was seen by the PA Alethea Cunningham, who actually made me feel sort of uncomfortable for having the tongue ring in the first place and kept saying, "Maybe its time to get rid of it... for good." -- and I didnt believe that her saying that had anything to do with the problems I was presenting with, almost felt like she was judging me. I laughed along just to be polite. It was unnecessary. Further into the exam, she said, "Well, I guess just take Motrin, itll help with the swelling. It doesnt look like an infection. Its not red, there isnt any pus, no bleeding..." and wouldnt prescribe an antibiotic. So I said, "What if it doesnt go away?" and she laughed and said, "Oh it will." - she didnt advise what to do if it didnt go away, etc. I persisted about the pain because I tried Motrin, I tried everything over the counter and I felt like she didnt believe me. Because I kept persisting and not accepting her answer, she said she would have the doctor come in. It was then that I was seen by the MD Thomas Fischer. He looked in my mouth and right away said, "Oh yeah, it does look red and I see the swelling." He then felt the glands around my face and felt swelling too, something that the PA didnt do. Dr. Fischer then advised me that he would prescribe an antibiotic, thoroughly explained what to do if the problems persist and/or if nothing changes (without me asking). And also advised me to swish around with peroxide and water. I felt a million times more comfortable after being seen by him. Do not be seen by the PA Alethea Cunningham. If I had just accepted her answer and left without any medication prescribed, who knows where I would be.

BEWARE!!!!!!!! I visited Stat Health on Feb 14th 2013 (which was my first mistake as all of the very unprofessional nursing staff was more concerned with who got flower and where everyone was going for dinner) I was diagnosed with Tonsillitis given a prescription and told to take twice a day. When I asked the Doctor when I should expect to feel better I was told 2-5 days, I thought that was a large window but I figured he is the doctor he knows best right?? WRONG!!! After 5 days of waiting to feel better and feeling worse than ever I went to another urgent care in the same town (which ended up being $45 cheaper than Stat Health). When I showed the other doctor the bottle of my antibiotics he said I should have been taking it 4 times a day not 2 times a day. So I took antibiotics for 5 days at half the dosage I should have been receiving!!! DONT GO TO STAT HEALTH!!!! Especially when there is a much cheaper much more professional urgent care in the same town less than 2 miles away!!!!

A waste of time and money. Go directly to ER. Had lower left abdominal pain. Doctor refused my request to do a urine test, which would have indicated blood in urine (= possible kidney stone). Instead, told me to go to ER for cat scan. Could not even give me a prescription to go to Zwanger Pesiri, said my insurance company might not honor it, but did not even check with my insurance company. Doctor just kind of left the room to make a call and never came back. Weird. Conclusion: Unless all you have is a head cold, go directly to ER. Stat Health is not empowered to do anything for you. If you think they can do blood, urine, X-ray (the 3 basics), think again. Also, the support staff here are MISERABLE - so nasty. So no reason to ever come back here again. Just AWFUL. Negative 5 stars.

Yes BEWARE of this place. Dont go there if you need a real Dr. They only treat simple things. I went with a toe nail fungus, simple right? Not for them! After waiting for two and a half hours the Dr finally saw me for three minutes, glanced at my toes and told me I needed a blood test for my kidney function, and if everything turned out fine he would call a script for my toenail fungus. So they called me the next day saying my blood test was fine, and were going to hang up. I asked about my prescription, which she knew nothing about. Finally a Dr. came on and told me they couldnt treat me and to go find a dermatologist! So why did they take my blood, if they werent going to help me? I will never go there again!

As a physician myself, I am very understanding of how busy an urgent care center can be. Initially I was impressed with the minimal wait despite a full waiting room. The physician was professional and offered a coherent and comprehensive plan of care. Blood work was a little difficult, and it took three people four tries to obtain a specimen. My biggest complaint is that it took SIX days for me to get my blood results back, and that was only after calling myself every single day. Each time I was told that they were busy and someone would get back to me, and I never received a call back. If you have blood work done, make sure to stay on top of them.

This is the worst urgent care, if your case is urgent do not go there. I have been there once early this year and I had to pay upfront cash even though I have insurance. Today they wont check me after having a car accident. These guys are worried about their money more than your health. I suggest you find a doctor or urgent care that actually cares about human being as its there first responsibility. I wish they have negative rating. Never again to any STA health.

I have been here many times. I do however do not like that you provide services without giving you the information on costs to you. That should be provided up front when given the choice of treatments and or diagnostic tests. Deductibles can be so expensive. If a treatment will cost you more than the copay than it should be explained. The outcome prevents you from being seen in the future if you incur a bill that you cannot afford to pay right away. Change this.

I was illl on a holiday weekend and knew I couldnt see my primary care physician for at least two days. I had heard about this organization and decided to try it. I was very pleased and surprised to see how clean it was, how friendly the staff was, and how quickly I was attended. I recommend this for anyone who has a problem, especially on weekends.

Dr. Carol Palmeiro should not be a doctor. This doctor told my husband that he had post nasal drip. Turns out that he needed a chest xray and has either bronchitis or the start of pneumonia. He needed to be put on all types of medication. Run from this doctor, she should NOT be practicing.
