I have had both of my knees replaced and have used Metro Rocky Point for both recoveries due to the excellent care I had recieved. Gary and his staff have pushed me in a caring and compassionate manner to acheive excellent range of motion in both knees. The refurbished pool is an awesome part of the therapy recieved. The pool is beautiful! And a very effective therapy modality. 6 weeks post surgery, scar tissue was interfering with my progress. Gary explained the need to break up this tissue to benefit sucessful healing, improve mobility, aid in healing of incision. Gary proceeded to massage the area using tools to break up the scar tissue, however it was extremely painful. Seeing my stress, he suggestd a relaxation method to reduce the pain. He used verbal instruction, guided imagery to bring me to a mindful relaxed state. Once again Gary proceeded to work on my incision area to break up the scar tissue , however this time there was no pain. I was aware of the pressure of the procedure, could hear his voice with additional relaxation instructions, focused on my breathing and the weight of my body on the table. It was an amazing experience and very successful in relieving the scar tissue. I have greater mobility, and the incision scar is greatly reduced. Thanks Gary!

Five years ago I went to the Rocky Point office after my total knee replacement and was very satisfied. I especially loved being able to work out in the pool with supervision. This was in addition to the typical table and floor exercises and hands on by the PT. When my orthopedist suggested that I go for PT on my other knee I was very happy that Metro was still there to help me. Karen is the therapist who has been working on and encouraging me. She seems to know exactly what to do to eliviate my pain and strengthen all the muscles etc. that are involved. She takes her time and always seems to go the extra mile when it comes to my care. I am always greeted with a smile by Patrice, Karen and any of the other staff that happen to be working that day. I highly recommend Metro because of my complete satisfaction.

I was hesitant going to a new place without first seeing it. I have been going for a couple of weeks now and have been so very pleased. My PT, Shana, is extremely professional, warm, informative, and amazing in what she has done to help me recover from knee replacement surgery. It seems that every aspect of an experience at Metro has been well thought out.....from the pleasant receptionist Patrice, to the nice music, the engaging and humorous owner/manager, the cleanliness, the helpful assistants, and the comfort level. I have never felt that awkwardness of being left alone and not knowing what to do like some other places. I highly recommend Metro for an excellent healing experience. Chose Metro as I had experience with one of their Nassau County locations. The Staff at Rocky Point was very friendly yet professional. Good amount of time spent gathering history and details of the ailment and its origins. Despite original diagnosis from MD, Garry spent the time to convince himself that the diagnosis was one he agreed with. I had permissions for several weeks of treatment, but from my feedback, he was convinced that I didnt really need to continue and left it to me to either cancel or show for the 4th appointment. When I cancelled, the staff was happy for my healing...no pressure to continue to pay for more visits. These are professionals who really care about haling you!

Physical Therapy is a very personal thing. Its important to choose a place that makes you feel comfortable. I chose Metro Physical Therapy in Rocky Point. Garry was excellent. The entire staff made me feel really comfortable. I actually look forward to going every morning. The BEST thing about Metro is they actually LISTEN to you. If you say you dont like something, they will stop that activity. If you say you prefer something, they will continue that activity. If something different hurts, they focus on that area. You are in control, they are just there to help! Thanks, Metro :)

I came here for Diastesis Recti problem after a c-section surgery. Had lots of pains and my core was very weak that was affecting my walking. Gary is awesome, understanding, compassionate and keeps pushing me forward to get better! After 3 months my diastesis closed, Im able to walk with no pain and Im even getting a toned core!! Not only he made things fun for me - but he also heard me when I was sad and gave me hope that everything will be ok!

Gary has been great in helping me alleviate my neck pain! He is very intelligent in his field and goes above and beyond to ensure that I leave the office feeling better. I had been to various other physical therapists in the past, but never gained any real relief and always felt like I was a dollar symbol rather than a patient. It was refreshing to find a PT like Gary that actually cares and spends time on his patients.

Metro Physical Therapy is a great place for PT. I began about a year ago for a neck injury, and I had been other places with no success. Garry and the staff are supportive and fun, and provide a great atmosphere. They are kind and helpful and are always keeping the exercises updated so you will never be bored. The team at Metro are so warm and welcoming, they can make the impossible possible! Because of my back pain it was nearly impossible to exercise. Im amazed how far Ive come.
