This past weekend I was in the Hamptons and had an accident at 1:30am. I burned my feet badly at the beach. We drove a 1 hour to get to the Southampton Hospital ER. When I got there, they took my information right the way and asked me to wait. I have a second-degree burn on my foot and NO one asked me if I was in pain, if I want any medication or anything. Well, 1 hour and 30 minutes past and I decided to ask the front desk what was going on and if they actually have people working. He said they were doing their best and they had just four ambulances getting into the ambulatory. I walked to the ambulatory, which is next door, and they did not seemed to have anything going on there as you can see from my pictures. In addition, two RN were just smoking outside by that time. Disrespectful! Went back inside with my foot in flame and told the front desk there was not emergency in the ambulatory and this was unacceptable. He said the ambulances had just left! I wanted to laugh but the pain I was feeling did not allow me. I was literally sitting in front the door the whole time and I believe my wife or me would have noticed four ambulances coming in and out. They JUST did not care about me or the other woman sitting there with a baby. Another 30 minutes past and I left without any care. The next day I went to this great and caring clinic in Easthampton and finally got some treatment to my feet. They should change the hospital administration or close the door as soon as possible. If you require care, please do not go to the hospital. This place should even be open! I am sharing some picture to proof my words. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

i lived in east hampton all my life, i been to thiis hospital about 7 times for accidents,stiches,broken arms, bad cuts etc n lots of other times for my friends . in my opinion this hopsital its mostly good if u get cut,broken bone hand etc, if u have something going in with ur heart, stomach, etc that u know its not normal n that u really need special attention n see specialist this is not the place they wll always come up with some bs i have seen thsi about 4 times with friends of friends than end up going to stonny brooke hospital n they always find whats wrong with ppl they have such good doctors there. i higly recomend going somewhere else n not southampton hospital.. also nurses are extemenly rudeeee.

Called to make a radiology appointment and told rad scheduling the types of scripts I had. They gave me a date and time to come in but never said that I would have to go to different places to get my scripts filled. Come in on day of appointment and I go to rads department trying to explain what I was told and they asked me if I had an appointment for any of these scripts I presented to the ladies at check in even after telling them the situation a few times. I should have had my appointment made at Stony Brook . Dont care if SH is affiliated with SB, but I was treated much better at SB

awful just awful treated us like we didnt know how to care for our one year old. Nurse was rude, rough and nasty when we were concerned about how much tylonol she was giving our baby. She then told us then you do it. We were dismissed by doc and when we asked what was going with 2 hours of no contact with staff we were appalled to hear give them their release docs clearly they want to leave.... ??? we DIDNT WANT TO LEAVE! we wanted answers as any concerned parents would want. I have heard of so many things they have done wrong... BEWARE and be AWARE they are notorious for this....

I just want to express my gratitude towards Southampton hospital maternity ward. I thank all the staff at Southampton hospital from registration, hospitality and the maternity staff for being so pleasant while my daughter and all the family awaited the arrival of our son, grandson, nephew and great grandson.
