I have been a patient of Drs . Seltzer and Rein for almost thirty years, and I have found them to be professional and knowledgeable in every way. This is a patient-centered professional office, where knowledge and experience are applied to each patient in a personalized way, accommodating each patients preferences, approaches and personal needs, including scheduling. Drs. Seltzer and Rein seem to be at the head of the learning curve, using the latest medical equipment, and the newest procedures and materials, suggesting their constant attempts to learn new developments in their fields of expertise. Their office staff manages a modern and efficient office with the goal, once again, of meeting the needs of patients. For example, in the area of scheduling, appointments are made with clarity, and reminders follow in several convenient ways, even including e-mail reminders, always with a simple way for patients to confirm and re-confirm appointments. It has become somewhat of a unique story that, while I have moved several states away from New York, I nevertheless continue to come back to Williston Park for regular (and even special) dental treatment, perhaps the best way I can express my satisfaction with the professional services of Drs. Seltzer and Rein, and their staff. They have my highest recommendation.

I have been a longtime patient of Long Island Smile for over 20 years. I cant say enough positive things about this practice. The staff has always been very warm, friendly and efficient. The office is clean, fresh and all the exam rooms are conveniently equipped with flat screen tvs. Wait times have always been kept to a minimum - maybe 5-10 minutes at the most. Dr. Rein and Dr. Seltzer are both true professionals. They are enthusiastic and highly skilled in the industrys cutting edge technology. This week I needed to replace an old cap. Dr. Rein used a camera tool to photograph the area where the cap was needed instead of taking an impression. He created a new cap on the screen while I watched. The accuracy was astounding and there was no gag reflex involved! A machine then carved out the ceramic cap and glazed it in about 10 minutes. It was a perfect fit. The competence and technology are truly impressive. Ive had many other procedures done here as well such as root canals, cavity fillings, whitening, tooth extractions, cleanings, etc. Each and every time, I have been extemely pleased with my experience. My entire family now goes to Long Island Smile. Definitely full service, top notch dentists, great staff and a very pleasant atmosphere.

After a sleep study at Winthrop University Hospitals Sleep Center, a referral for an oral appliance evaluation was made as my husband was not able to tolerate a facial mask. That this office came so highly recommended by the Sleep Centers physician was very reassuring to us and Dr Rein and his staff have met and exceeded all of our expectations! The entire process has been smooth. We particularly appreciated the ability to try a test tray that Dr.Rein created with a sleep study to make sure that it helped before a permanent dental device was made. My husband is getting a much more restorative sleep with far less daytime sleepiness at the initial setting, which is only 50% of the way there. His energy has improved and we look forward to continued improvement at the 100% setting. The office is so friendly and accommodating. Whether it is making/changing appointments or dealing with insurance questions, they are consistently patient and helpful. Weve never feel rushed and the staff has been so helpful with our insurance submission as well. As a nurse I really appreciate the efficient flow of this practice. We highly recommend them. Miracle Workers! Started using Dr. Seltzer when my spouse went there for a sleep appliance. He evaluated my mouth and found that I had many problems, gum and older crowns that were not placed properly. He carefully planned out my dental treatment which also involved a periodontist and an endodontist and a dental surgeon. A former dentist tried to play superman and just kept giving me antibiotics which caused much bone loss and several abscesses. After 4 months under Dr. Seltzers care, I have five new beautiful crowns that fit, an upper tooth that he and the periodontist saved and a back upper removal with an implant in progress. No more infection, no more bad breath and I smile with confidence. Although Im in my 60s, Ive learned how to properly care for my teeth and use his dental hygienist. Ive never felt better in years. When you find a competent dentist such as Dr. Seltzer, its a gift in life. Will keep coming back! Nancy F.

This is one of the best experiences I ever had with a doctor. First, the office is run extremely efficiently and as a result, the wait time for an appointment is minimal. The staff is also extremely pleasant and helpful. I met with Dr Rein who recommended an appliance (like a retainer) for my sleep apnea. He took the time, explaining to me how it would work and help me and answered any questions that I had. As a result of the appliance, my quality of life has improved dramatically and I am no longer constantly tired. My only regret is not meeting Dr Rein sooner. I highly recommend them.

Twenty years ago, I visited Dr. Seltzer for a consultation about cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Seltzer patiently explained in detail all the options available. He restored my smile with porcelain veneers, and I was ecstatic with the results. He has been my dentist ever since. My bi-annual visits are a great experience not only because of Dr. Seltzer, but also the courtesy and professionalism of all the support staff at Long Island Smile. I highly recommend Dr. Seltzer for cosmetic and general dental needs. Looking forward to another twenty years with Dr. Seltzer and Long Island Smile!

My experience with Dr. Seltzer was the most informative I ever had with a doctor. He patiently and thoroughly explained the exact cause of my snoring and sleep apnea and all my options to help control it. I was prescribed a dental appliance and I now no longer snore which makes my wife happy and feel better rested when I wake up in the morning. This is a far cry from one doctor who recommended surgery which probably would have been risky and not helped my sleep apnea at all. He has a modern office and a friendly staff and I did not wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment.

I was expecting a needle and drilling which always makes me nervous. Dr Seltzer surprised me with the latest technology in dentistry.......THE SOLEA LASER. My filling was done without a needle, no pain, no drill noise, no numbness after. Best of all I can eat right away.!!!!!

Best decision I ever made was to pick up the phone and make an appointment with Dr. Rein for a consult on my sleep apnea. I am now CPAP FREE with the help of the dental appliance he made for me. Good bye uncomfortable mask and hose, hello freedom to roll over. Thanks Doc!!

Very good dentist office. Not only they take care of my familys teeth very well but thanks to them I dont snore anymore and the sleep apnea is completely gone. They are experts on those matters. The staff is really nice. You cant go wrong with them.
