I will never go back to Dr. Gold. After 15 years of adult acne, I decided to make a commitment to treatment. I should have stopped seeing him after the first appointment. He never even looked at my face! He did look at some moles, which he removed with very little explanation. It was sudden, shocking, and left permanent scarring. For my acne, he has prescribed the "latest" antibiotics and ointments, all which cost hundreds of dollars. He has given me discount cards for some- but there is no way I can continue the medication when they run out. He then "prescribed" several things from his medi-spa, which also cost hundreds of dollars. It has been 3 months, and my acne is the worst it has ever been in my whole life. I have spent thousands of dollars at this point (all on my credit card). He has never spent more than 5 minutes with me, has a pompous attitude, and practically rolls his eyes at you when you speak. I continued to see him bc I knew he had the latest information and equipment. I wish I would have followed my initial feeling though- that he is a salesman. I am even wondering if he purposely made my acne get worse, just to have me continue to see him. I feel taken advantage of and am considering writing him a letter. I would seriously stay away from him.

Last year I was invited to the Cosmetic Surgery Forum in Las Vegas where I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Michael H. Gold from the Skincare Center of Nashville. I have worked as an aesthetician for 15 years and in that time have met many dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Dr. Gold is easily the most knowledgeable and talented doctor I have met. He is incredibly professional and always takes the time to find the treatment that is best for me and my needs; with a technique second to none. Over time I have received different injectables with unbelievably natural results never a bruise. This last year I was privileged to see Dr. Gold again, and he performed a silhouette instalift on me. I had never had this procedure and needless to say I was a bit nervous. Once again he easily regained my confidence with his infinite knowledge, calm demeanor, and trademark bedside manner. I am grateful to have met Dr. Gold and am in love with my results. As I said, I work in the cosmetic industry where reputation is everything, and I have absolutely no problem giving Dr. Gold my highest regards. I highly recommend him to all of my clients. Thank you, Dr. Gold!

I went to Dr. Gold because I had a couple of suspicious spots on my face. I was very concerned since my father died of skin cancer and other family members also have had it. He came into the examining room, looked, said, "It is cancer" and walked out of the room without another word. A few minutes later, a nurse came in and started unwrapping instruments. She also approached me with a needle and administered a couple of shots. I asked what was going on and at about that time, Dr. Gold reentered the room, and, without a word, started removing the "cancers," which turned out to be basal cell, thankfully. Instead of letting me know the lab results, the nurse told me that if it was more serious, I would be called within 10 days. All-in-all a horrible experience. He is arrogant, has no genuine concern for his patients and his practice seems to be a cash cow and little else.

Unfortunately I had to take my 4 year old to him for molluscum and he put some kind of medication on him and before we even made it home (2 hours away) he was screaming in pain and was covered in blisters that i was told would cause no pain! He completely lied to us and now my 4 year is suffering bc of his stupidity!!

The front office staff is horrible and unprofessional. Whenever I call for appointments or information, they are very short and unhelpful. Towards the end of my last conversation, I made the suggestion of me finding another doctor. the representative agreed and ended the call. WOW!!!
