I have been to this office twice. Both were great experiences. I was able to get appointments quickly. The office is super nice and kid friendly. My kids loved the play room with video games! Front office staff is very friendly and helpful. My kids are 6 and 4. My 4 year old had never been to a dentist and was really nervous before we went. The hygenist was excellent at explaining what she was doing and showing them instruments before she used them. She did full x-rays on both of them, and they were happy and great the whole time. The dentist was very professional, nice and informative. I really appreciated how gentle he was with the kids, and how he talked to them and made sure they understood and were comfortable the whole time. It was everything I hoped for my kids first dental experience!

POOR COMMUNICATION. Not trustworthy in my opinion. Had a very negative experience in how thing were handled for my 3 year old. I was told that work would be done on a certain number of teeth, but more work could be needed. Then I waited on site with no further contact until everything was done. Found out at that point that they drilled an additional tooth. No one bothered to mention anything to the parent before taking this action? Shady. Also failed to say there would STILL be bleeding still 1 week later. Heck, an auto mechanic will call me before doing more work on my car... I would expect some courtesy like that when I put my childs care in the hands of someone. Very disappointed and never going back. Avoid... this place lost my trust.

Best experience. My son is very apprehensive when it comes to doctors in general the last dentist we went to was not great. So I was nervous that it was going to be a whole episode but when we walked in they had toys in the waiting room which he was all about and movies and when they called us back and i had explained what had happened before and just they played with him got him comfortable in the chair and he opened right up and we got his teeth cleaned and actually got xrays! Amazing Dr. Carmicheal was very nice and took time to go over all my questions and what we needed to keep up on. I am really glad we found this office and they actually make kids feel comfortable and make it fun for them. Just amazing!!

My children and I have had nothing but great care at this Pediatric dentistry. Excellent front staff, very professional attentive and caring! Great dental hygienist as well! Dr. Seare has a calm demeanor, I appreciate his "watch and wait" approach to some of our dental situations. In the past I have felt pressure at other pediatric dental clinics to move forward with sometimes unnecessary dental procedures. Not here at all, and if any concerns are addressed a good explanation is always given. As a healthcare professional myself, I am aware of good practice and professionalism, Sun Valley pediatric dentistry has these important qualities.

My wife took my kids here and her experience was miserable. - My childs filling fell off (front tooth). - Called for an appointment. "Sure come on in." - Wait 40 min to see the dentist only to have them do a brief exam and tell her to schedule a follow-up appointment to do the filling in 2 weeks. - Wasted our time. (extra visit charge?) - Called our own dentist, went in the next day and was done in less than an hour. Also the dentist was a bit of a jerk. Q. How do you know if the laughing gas is working? A. "If shes breathing, its working" Nice...

We had a great experience with Sun Valley Pediatric Dentistry. I called in because my son was experiencing some tooth pain and Dr. Seare was able to see us within the hour. He was completely honest and upfront with what we were looking at and what next steps hed recommend. The office staff was friendly as well. My kids loved the tablets in the waiting room and the little TVs they could watch in the dentist chair. It was a very pleasant experience with a friendly and knowledgeable doctor. Id definitely recommend giving them a call!

I moved here from CT last October and used google reviews to find a dentist. Sun Valley came up with awesome reviews, so I took a chance and made an appointment for my 2 and 4 year old. I was not dissapointed in the least. Everything from the waiting room with Ipads for the kids, to the courteous staff, televisions on the ceilings above dentist chairs for kids to watch and gentle dentists who care and take the time to explain things... I definately recommend and would suggest you to stop looking and make an appointment.

I have been taking my six children to Sun Valley Pediatrics for almost 10 years. My son was 1 when we first started coming to the office. Back then it was called Little Tykes. I work in the dental field as well and I highly recommend Sun Valley Pediatrics to all of our Pedo patients. This office and staff is truly AMAZING!!!!! They always go above and beyond to make sure the kids are taken care of so they have a great experience the first time, every time.

My kids have been patients at SVPD for 3 years. I highly recommend this office, we see Dr. Seare, my kids are comfortable and I always leave the office feeling my concerns were heard and treatment plans are understood and communicated. My son has some issues with his teeth and I truly put my mama trust in him that he is making the best and honest decision for my kids. Not just to make a few bucks kind of a place. Highly recommended!

My kids love this place. The staff is friendly and professional. Weve switched insurance a couple times and they accept everything weve had. They have TVs mounted to ceiling for kids to watch during procedures and there are gaming tablets in the waiting room. The dentist was great, even with my wiggling four-year-old. The kids also enjoy getting tokens with each visit to claim a prize from the toy capsule vending machine.

After going to Little Tykes, my kids love the dentist! It was a struggle to get them to brush their teeth before we went. Now, when we say its time to brush their teeth, they run to the bathroom. Dr. Carmichael was great at helping them feel comfortable and made huge progress with them in a short amount of time. He took the time not only to teach the kids, but to teach us how to help them brush. I am impressed!

My son just had his first dental appointment here and I would recommend anyone with little ones to come here. Of course they have toys in the waiting area, but they also had movies for the kids to choose from, stickers and toys to give away after the cleaning. I thought my son would kick and scream but he surprisingly opened his mouth and watched a movie while the hygienist brushed, flossed, and polished away.

My daughter really feels comfortable at Sun Valley Pediatric Dentistry! From check-ups to cavity fills, the staff is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. As a mom, I also appreciate how punctual the staff is- always honoring my time by beginning appointments on time. Highly recommended!

Dr. Sears is amazing. He is so kind, gentle and knows how to make kids feel at ease. We have been with him for 8 years. Starting with our oldest and now we have three children.
