I am saddened to say I have to leave such a negative review but I have never been so sad to see such heartless people in my life. I brought in my cat who is very sick at the moment and she was hanging on by a thread that day and what is the first thing they say as my cats wheezing and crying no not let us take her to a room while we discuss things. They just say its going to be 88$ just for walking in the door. Now money is no issue when it comes to my pet but at least can we get her in the room she is almost dying in your lobby. My wife met me at the hospital to check on her baby and the doctor comes in as my wife is crying her eyes out and proceed to drop this gem "my you have a very sick cat". I was taken back why would you say that as she is crying her eyes out. We obviously know shes sick thats why we are at your hospital. After leaving the room for 20+ minutes we never saw the doctor again they sent in under studies who had no clue of our situation to tell us we are going to give youre extremely sick cat antibiotics my wife tried to ask simple questions like should we sterilize the room shes in and change the sheets. The understudies great answer was "we can take her for a while and run test and see but thats going to cost a couple hundred dollars". We just asked if we needed to sterilize our house and change sheets what the fudge would you need to run more test for when i asked such a simple question. I was and still am in shock that people could be so cold in a time when we were so vulnerable. I would have given anything for my cat and instead they charged me hundreds of dollars to give my cat an antibiotic that BTW they didnt even administer the first dose to her. Seriously you couldnt even give the cat the first dose as she is crying and wheezing in pain. So I advise you all as I sit here and write this in tears. Please just take this in to consideration before you go here. They may not always be such bad cold people but on that sad day for me I met some of the coldest people to work in a line that is supposed to be compassionate.

My dog Benny is a Heeler mix and slightly accident prone. Dr Landis at Glendale Animal Hospital has been helping me keep him healthy and happy for years. There was one horrible accident where Benny found himself under a running horse and was stepped on so badly that the skin peeled back off his hind leg. With the help of Dr Landis, Benny healed all the way up and he is as active as ever. The hair even grew back! More recently, while running around the yard, Benny got hooked on something and tore the skin on his shoulder. Dr Landis was able to see us right away, and did a beautiful job cleaning the wound out and stitching him up. He is all better and due to get his stitches out in the next couple of days. Dr Landis is highly skilled, professional, and kind and gives pets the individual care and attention they deserve. Benny really likes her and even enjoys the trip to the Glendale Animal Hospital. The rates are always fair and the facility is very clean and high tech with a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend Glendale Animal Hospital.

My dog is a year old weimaraner that gets into everything! Needless to say we have been in to see Dr. Day more times than I can count! We have always gotten great service at a very reasonable price, and would recommend them to anyone. This past weekend I had to take my dog into an emergency clinic after he would not stop puking. After getting charged a ridiculous amount for an x-ray, the vet didnt even seem to know what she was looking at and could only point to vague shapes on the x-ray and say things like, "this part of his intestines looks angry." So, the next day I called Dr. Day as soon as they opened and made an appt (luckily they could see me on such short notice on a saturday). Dr. Day immediately found the problem, and he and his staff even stayed after hours to perform life-saving surgery on my dog. I am so grateful to them and the care and compassion they showed to my puppy!

Id like to start by saying I am a real person that actually took my animal to this location but I was so pleased I felt the need to leave my first review ever. After several days of my dog having issues and me constantly worrying I took him in to this place. At first I was hesitant after hearing many of the vet places around here are misleading and either make things up or over charge. However after setting an appointment I saw Dr. Day and not only was he compassionate to my animal he was very informative and logical and made sure I understood exactly what my dog needed and why. I was very pleased with my service from the front desk as well and although Im not necessarily aware what the pricing should be it seemed very reasonable for any budget. I will certainly recommend this vet from this point on. Very pleased.

My kittens paws got so infected I thought they were going to die. Pus and blood was squirting out of them! This was after they were declawed at the Glendale Animal Hospital. I called the emergency number and left a message. The vet never bothered to call me back! The next day they called in a prescription and we gave it to the kittens. They were so bad they could not move and were barely breathing. I think one of them had a seizure. I called the vet again that night and left a message again telling them what was going on. Again I got no return call. I am bringing them in this morning just to show the vet how awful their paws are. I will put up another review telling the resolution of this situation. I hope and pray I am not posting that my cat died from a simple declaw.

I have been a client of Dr. Day for 14 years. Recently our chihuahua Ricky was VERY VERY sick! I was an absolute mess! Dr. Day gave me a hug and told me he would do his best! He worked on our little dog all night, keeping us updated every few hours. Because of his knowledge our little guy pulled through! He has always been very caring and professional, but he was so compassionate in our time of anxiousness!!!! We appreciate his honesty. Also, I would like to mention his staff is as equally wonderful!!

I recently rescued an injured stray dog off the road and took it to Dr Landis. After 3 weeks the dog is happy and walking around thanks to her help . She has called regularly to check on the dogs progress. She was very helpful and compassionate to our unique situation. This was a great experience!
