Doctors are great, some staff need training in customer service. It is pretty sad to me (as i am a doctor myself) when I see that excellent talent of highly trained individuals who save lives and restore heath is made to look bad by staff members with poor customer service on the phone and at the front desk. When you call, they impersonally ask for the date of birth of the patient, and more than once I have had them CUT ME OFF MID SENTENCE by asking for my childs date of birth. It really TICKS ME OFF when people dont even ask for the childs name and just ask you to give them their birthdate. I guess they do this so they can put it into their database and pull up a list of all the other patients with that birthday but THEN they STILL ask for your childs name. It makes you feel like your child is a number, not a person. What would be much better is to sound cheerful on the phone, greet the caller by name, find out the patients name and then date of birth. If I were the office or corporation manager in charge of training I would get some consulting and really focus on customer service because it is the only thing from keeping this place from being the absolute best pediatric office I have been to. The reason I say that is because there are so many great things they do. They have it set up so you can pretty much get in any day of the week and after hours if needed. When your child is sick, youll be able to get in. They have a nurse triage line which is really helpful too. Like i said before, the doctors are great. So my rating shoud be 5 for the doctors and 1 for the people who answer the phone. Front desk receptionists get about a 2 for not smiling and looking overworked all the time. So combine all those and its a 3.

Went to the after hours clinic because my daughter hadnt eaten a full meal in 4 days because of how upset her stomach was, and was satisfied with the front staff, but the doctor treated me like an idiot mother who worries over everything. He said it was just a cough and quite obviously just wanted to get me out of there as fast as possible. He glanced down her throat, felt her belly, repeated that it was just a cough and that "there is no magical cure we can give them to get them up and going again by tomorrow!" like I ran to a doctor every time someone in my house sneezed, then had me out of the room in less than 5 minutes. Didnt even listen to her chest, I assumed that was a standard practice for doctors who had patients with coughs? Sorely disappointed, wont ever visit this office again. Ive seen ER doctors give better care hundreds of times without coming off as rude and condescending. Found out later it was an upper respiratory infection. Doctors should make care to pay more attention to their patients.

We have been coming to this office for about 6 months. The care is okay, nothing special. The kids have seen their pc doctor only half the time, so we have been bounced around there. They get you in and out in a hurry, but their referral system is terrible. Between my three kids, we have had 2 referrals to specialists in the past six months. One was not urgent, but one was. Both times I had to call several times, in one case over the course of a week to get the referral sent. It just communicates to me that the actual family is not a concern. They deal with so many that its more or less like an Urgent Care center. If you are looking for a family doctor, go elsewhere.

Dr. Hayden is rude has no bedside mamner whatsoever i took my son in last week and basically told me i was stupid for giving my son cold medicine. He said my son had a respiratory infection and refused to give him antibiotics and said it would go away in a few days my son sounds worse than ever. I dont understand how someone like that is able to even be working with children. He is to rough and mean and talks to parents in a condescending tone as if we are children ourselves. Very very rude will not be taking my son to see him again.

When my daughter took my granddaughter in for some concerns, Dr. Hayden did not want to run blood work and told her if it was serious she would be dead. I am horrified that a so called professional would make a comment like that. Needless to say we will not be returning!!! Do not use this practice!!!

Do not go to the after hours clinic unless you have 2 hours to waste. I love the dr we see during normal hours and have never waited more than 30 and most times only wait 5-10 min. Very efficient and good care during the day but not during the evening. I will not be back.

Terrible terrible terrible office staff!!! I saw dr strong with evp as a child and have continued taking my kids even though she moved. Since she left it has been awful every time and I am searching for a new doctor.

We have been seeing Dr. Chapman for more than 3 years and thoroughly appreciate her care. She is easy to ask questions to and I feel included and listened to in regards to my childs health.
