My daughter was 26 months old and incredibly ill. We saw three of the doctors at Palo Verde and none of them took the time to be thorough or thoughtful. She ended up getting so sick with strep throat (they didnt even do a strep culture at the first two appointments). After the third appointment they just said she has about 20 hours before shes so dehydrated and sick that we would admit her to a hospital. The next day she was so dehydrated and sick that we went to Good Night Pediatrics and they immediately did a strep culture which came back positive, gave her an IV due to extreme dehydration and a shot of antibiotics. If the doctors would have given us just a little more of their time I know that our daughter would have not have had to endure having an IV!!! After this experience I spoke to the front desk manager and she was so incredibly rude. I then spoke to our primary care doctor (Dr. Deardorff) and he was also rude. I explained that they needed to make more time for the doctors to be thorough, but he told me that I was wrong. After this horrible experience we changed doctors and are very happy at Pueblo Pediatrics!

I cant say enough good things about Dr. Deardorff, Tranesa, and the Palo Verde Peds staff! We have been patients there for over 11 years. Dr. Deardorff is always very prompt, very direct, and to the point. He explains things thoroughly and answers all questions. Ive never thought that he was overly friendly or playful as some kid doctors are, but hes certainly polite, smart and caring. Just recently, I was having difficulty scheduling and refilling a prescription with a specialist. I was panicked and called Palo Verde Peds to see if they could help us out in any way. I expected a call back from his nurse or the office staff and was surprised when Dr. Deardorff himself called me back within the hour. He was able to get us squared away that same day. I appreciate the excellent service my family has received. I wish I could see Dr. Deardorff for my own medical needs, in addition to my kids!

Weve always had great experiences at this office. Dr. Kipp is our primary care physician and hes always been extremely thorough, patient, knowledgeable and friendly with my two small children. He was able to diagnose my daughters extreme allergies immediately where two previous physicians at another office just blamed it on a cold. Hes also been extremely concerned towards my four year old son, who has had speech problems. Hes gotten us into the appropriate programming and always follows up with us. Weve seen other doctors at this office on occasion when Kipp isnt available, who are all wonderful, but Kipp is our favorite!! I cant recommend this pediatrician enough!

Dr. Deardorff has cared for all four of my children for the last 9 years. He is thorough and very sweet with my children. He knows them all by name and remembers their medical history. He has helped to treat and refer, when necessary for all of my childrens care. The front office is so great! I have only waited one time in all 9 years past when my appointment start time was. The office is clean and everyone is friendly. I would recommend them HIGHLY to anyone!

LOVE PV Peds!!! They are great at getting you in and out on time, always make room for same day sick visits, keep the kiddos relaxed and have fun! Weve moved twice since starting to go to PV Peds and always end up sticking with them because we cant find ANYONE that even begins to compare with the level of service they provide!

Weve seen almost every doctor there. Our kids love each one! Weve been going there for almost 4 years with our two small children and they love it. They somehow squeeze us in when its urgent and are fairly patient when we run up a huge bill. The sick waiting room is nicely seperate from non-sick waiting room.

Just called to get an appointment for my 10 week old baby girl because she developed a bad cough last night. I told them I also wanted to discuss vaccinations and they simply told me that if I didnt want to fully vaccinate her they couldnt see me and advised me to look at a different pediatric office.

Very pleased with this practice. Dr. Mike is awesome with my special needs kids. The pleasing thing is you can get same day appointments for your sick child without having to beg and plead (unlike our previous peds office). Highly recommend this practice and especially Dr. Mike.

Best staff & nurses around!! Dr. Chang takes his time and answers all your questions. He gives you all the information in a way you and your child can understand. He plays with my kids and they adore him. You can see this is a passion, not just an occupation!!!

Dr. Mike (Perlstein) was fantastic. Took time to explain everything related to our babys well-balanced check-up and sick visits. Loved the seperate sick and well-baby entrances to their offices. Terrific experience. Sad we had to move and leave them.
