We love Madison Animal Hospital! We had an emergency with one of our dogs and had just moved into the neighborhood back in February. We gave them a call and they got us right in and took great care of our pet and us. We have continued to use them since and we love Dr. Starkel. She is always so kind and compassionate. She explains everything clearly and takes time to answer all your questions. They always give us options and a detailed estimate before performing any treatments. The staff is equally as wonderful and the facility is impeccably clean and comfortable. I also appreciate how the vets themselves call to follow up and give you results. Their prices are fair and overall we are very pleased and happy we found them!

We brought out 11lb. Pomeranian in for a bath. We were told by the front receptionist that it would be an hour for the bath and brush out. 2 hours later we called and was told that it would be another hour before they would get to her. I went to the facility 30 minutes later and spoke to the manager who told me she would be a bit longer but could not give me a specific finish time, just said they are working on her. I would never and will not recommend this vet for anything. One of the better places nearby is East Maryland Animal hospital. The are at least honest.

Our baby cat had renal failure. One day, we had to make the hard decision to let him go. We called them, and despite being busy, they took us in. They covered the window, gave him a comfy bed to lay in, and let us spend as much time with him before and after as we needed. Our boy was well taken care of. We thanked the vet and vet techs. Their job is not easy. Mojo now is at rest, and free of pain. Their payment plans work for any budget. I would highly recommend this vet office. The vet techs are pleasant and friendly.

All in 1 convenience. My groomer, veterinarian and dog food are all in the same place. They are open 7 days a week. They are professional yet personal at the same time. I love my vet tech, I love my groomer and I love my veterinarian. But my favorite person is the lady at the front desk, she is bilingual which makes my wife feel so comfortable. Nothing but great things to say about this place. Had an emergency with my dog and they were able to fit him the same day. Unfortunately, I had to put down my family dog of 14 years there. However, the staff along with Dr. Starkel were very compassionate and sympathetic towards our situation, they definitely put me and my family at ease. I definitely recommend this place!!

I had a great experience bringing my puppy to this vet. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, and I was brought back to meet the vet right on time. Vet seemed caring and honest and, unlike, other vets, did not push unnecessary tests or lab work. Felt very comfy here with my golden puppy and plan on using them as my primary vet going forward.

I just want to say that this is a great place and i would recommend it to anyone, unfortunately our Cat Phoenix had to be put to sleep, but the Staff was friendly, compassionate and patient, that helped us through the whole process, Thank you Madison Animal Hospital. They really care about your animals! Also if you dont have the full amount they will set up a payment plan with you with no interest! They also have a shot special, you pay them a low fee to join the club. And then for the pets all their shots are free for the rest of the pets life. Very nice Doctor, he will explain things to you well!

My dog was hit by a car and we transfered him here from another place in peoria because they were rude and super pricey..... This place was 100000000x nicer and the staff was amaxing and helpful dr.starkel was so sweet and very helpful with our dog. He is doing so much better.now

This vet helped me diagnose a disease in my dog a previous vet refused to test for. They are compassionate and go above and beyond working with you. This vet also does interest free/credit check free payment plans. Incredible! I could not speak more highly of them!

This place argued with us about the dog needing a bath when we just washed him (we have a breed that you can only wash a couple times a year or it irritates their skin). Their prices were also pretty high.
